Customer service is unparalleled whether in store or online! There was a shirt that I was interested in buying after leaving Kaua'i and a store associate went ABOVE and BEYOND to help me get this particular shirt (Abc long sleeve in ocean color, MAHALO NUI LOA TO YOU!!!!) and have it shipped to socal for me. Some of the best apparel on the island! Their logo is clean and the material of the clothing is top notch. Big fan that it was difficult to only buy 3 items. It isn't cheap, anywhere from $30-$100ish depending what clothing item you get. But you get what you pay for and it is a business in Hawaii. They also sell outdoor stuff such as yetis, backpacks and etc. If you're looking for souvenirs from your trip or just want good clean apparel you have to check this store out, whether you're a local or tourist. read more

A must visit if you're visiting Kauai! Wide selection of women and men's surf and outdoor gear. Cute designs!! The best part is lots of parking right in the front, and across the street - Kalaheo Cafe.... get some coffee and grub there after shopping! The staff were all so cool and helpful. A great selection of surf clothes, and a very friendly staff. I know they have more than one location, but this is the one we visited and believe it's their biggest store. It wasn't hard to find multiple shirts and shorts to like in popular sizes. It's not in one of the main shopping plaza's, but it's worth seeking out. I would say this store has the best selection of cool surf clothes on the island. read more

A really cool shop tucked away in Kalaheo. The shop is well stocked and has a great feel when you step inside. They carry great brands such as Patagonia and Yeti and also their own which includes hats, clothing, and stickers. Everything has a cool and casual style that makes it easy to want to buy everything. The staff are really friendly and happy to check for additional sizes and items. The prices are a bit steep but it's worth supporting a local business. My boyfriend and I both got great hats which are wonderful souvenirs of our time on the Garden Island. Definitely stop by here if this style is up your alley! read more

Spotted this store earlier in our trip, but we couldn't afford the time to stop to check it out. So my husband and I decided to head there this morning to see their merch. Getting there shortly before they opened, we decided to grab a bite to eat across the street to kill time. We come back to our rental car to find that someone had placed their bumper sticker on the rear of our rental vehicle! It came off no problem since I spotted the ugly thing a mile away. read more

Best surf shop on the island. They have a bunch of quality brands, including their own. They've done an amazing job with their own brand and the quality of clothes/apparel they offer through it. The designs are great and the shirts are super comfortable. You can tell they've spent a lot of time working on it. Staff is very helpful and super friendly In the right location they would absolutely kill it if they open a third store say in Honolulu or California. We made the trek all the way from Kapa'a just to shop this spot! Love the fabrics this company uses! Texture is everything and they have it figured out! They use Alternative earth for fabric and their logo is simple yet catchy! They also carry RCVA and other skate/surf brands as well. Whether your looking for a functional souvenir from Kauai or your on the hunt for camping gear for your time on the island this is your spot! From Patagonia to Yeti they have a pretty decent selection of the essentials and like I said on par with the pricing in Seattle! 2 stars because today I went to go check out the Kilauea store and 2 out of the 3 workers that was there was not wearing their masks. We are still in a pandemic and as today 8/10/21 there have been 55 new covid cases on Kauai alone. These workers; which one of em was a manager should be setting good examples for everyone locals, and tourists. read more

The staff here is really nice. The clothes are nice but they don't have any sizes you need. They hats are very nicely designed but sit very high on your head. So although my husband likes that hat I got him, he doesn't wear it cause it sits super high and looks funny on. This is a beautiful store. It is essentially a surf/skate shop but they have so many cool & unique things that just calling it that seems inadequate. My 15 year old son recently had a skateboard custom built here and while we were there for him I found myself wanting to buy pretty much everything, The customer service is excellent. The personnel at this store were very nice and helpful. However, I am very disappointed with my purchase. I bought a pair of With Love from Paradise (WLFP) leggings and the quality is terrible. WLFP markets their products as durable and high quality but these leggings have zero functionality - they constantly ride down and the elastic in the waist is not sewn into place well. Waste of $68. read more

I've passed this store many many times and finally today I was able to stop by after my son's soccer game. First impression was that it had a lot of outside gear along with beach things and clothing. There was a guy working there which unfortunately I wasn't able to get his name but he was so helpful and so friendly. I originally went in not expecting to buy anything however I just couldn't say no to the YETI tumblers. There was such a wide variety of colors it was too hard to resist. Ended up buying the "sunset chair" a few tees, a few stickers, and a YETI tumbler. A few hours later I returned to the store to buy another YETI tumbler This store has 2 locations one in Kalaheo and the other in Kilauea. Though I haven't been to the one in northshore I'm pretty sure I'll be visiting them soon. I recommend both local and visitors to come and check out either locations. They have something for everyone. read more

This is right down the street from my place - so its dangerous lol! i love their shirts and tank tops! i have so many with all the different areas in kauai. i also got a beach towel, sweater, and a hat! sooo many cute things esp for the kids! everyone in the shop is always super nice and helpful. be sure to follow them on instagram to see when they get new stuff in and when they have special events! they are open on sundays sometimes - but its best to call in advance just to double check. all of the clothes are so comfortable and great if youre a local or just visiting :). read more

This place was kind of cool, but definitely on the surfer - hipster vibe. I know that's an insult in the islands, but it's true. I managed to walk out with a ALOHA EXCHANGE shirt at $25. I kind of wished it was more localized and rep their own brand. There are brands in this store ranging from Brixton to PATAGONIA and vessel. Kind of a mainstream souvenir, but what the hell. This place is more than u expect. Once you come in you will want to come back over and over bc they are always changing their inventory to keeps things fresh. Core values are quality and unique products. They have in house beach wear designs and surfboard gear, as well as stuff to outfit your skateboard. Great shop. We found it by chance and were really impressed with the inventory. A great change of pace from Crazy Shirts and other baloney surf stores that carry all the same stuff, this shop sells a lot of its own designs and carries apparel from a couple other high-quality brands as well. Upon arrival, I found that due to a 50% clearance sale on certain items that this was the only affordable place in the area to find stuff under $100! My wife got a swimsuit from Sea Level Swim Australia for about 80 bucks (2-piece), while I got Billabong board shorts for $30!! Great deal! And a life saver too!! They also sell t-shirts, Aloha shirts, swim cover-ups, beach blankets, sunglasses, and more!

Waited a minute, still no greeting so I finally asked her if they have kaamaina discounts and she said yes. Thank goodness. The shirts here are at least $140 bucks! I chose one, luckily they had the size I needed. Finished transaction and she thanked me with a smile. It's a smaller sized shop but they have a nice selection of shirts and merchandise.

The t-shirts at least look like they will last for a long time to come. This location in particular is larger and has a better selection than the Hanalei store, so it's worth a stop. However, the Crazy Shirts website is worth checking out for good deals and to avoid adding weight to your luggage.

Store hours are until 8 & it's closed up tight. I'm not making a third visit.
