No kaamaina price but this pair was very expensive. I wanted to give them some business so I got the pair. Ariat brand, good quality. Short style with long fringe. Fits nice and comfortable. Not to heavy. Need to break them in. Next time I'll come back and get a western hat. They have a great selection on everything. I wanted to write this review because of the above and beyond service I just experienced. I have a friend that lives on the island, and I do not. I live over 5000 miles away. I called the store, and I asked for a gift card. I wanted to see if it would be possible to surprise my friend by delivering the gift card to her home, which is 10 minutes away from the store. The gentleman on the phone informed me that he would be happy to do it for me, at no extra charge. Not only was the gift card delivered, but I believe it was Parker chose to take the experience to the next level and handcraft a beautiful Plumaria lei for my friend, no charge, refused a tip, and texted me a photo of my friend with her pretty lei and her gift card. I would have a hard time believing that hand delivering gift cards is normal for this business, but not for one minute was I ever made to feel as though anything I was asking for was inappropriate. I appreciated the aloha spirit that I just don't get to receive here where I live. This really was above and beyond, and I think when businesses go out of their way to add a heavy helping of love of humanity, they deserve recognition. I really do love the products in the store, and I can't wait to get back to the island to patronize their business again. We took it back with the receipt the next day and they would not refund the purchase price. The receipt had a disclaimer regarding a time limit and "SC" which we NOW know means "store credit". I am amazed at this policy and how it can be legal. My husband gave me signs to not push my complaint, but please be aware of this with respect to this store. As he says, it is his fault, but omg! With well over ten years of SUPing experience, we knew we didn't want to paddle up the river on…read morerecreational SUP boards. I sprung for two touring boards which turned out to be a good decision. Keylan was very professional and helpful answering all our questions. He showed us an aerial view of the river on his computer screen so we had a visual of where we were going before heading out. He set us up with two 4" x 4" foam "boards" which were placed on the car roof before loading the SUP boards. He provided us with straps to hold the boards securely up there for the very short drive (about five minutes) to the launching spot on the river. The paddle up the river and the hike to t he waterfall was definitely worth the effort. We did that first at Keylan's recommendation, then went to see Fern Grotto. Allow yourself lots of extra time for the return trip as you will be paddling into the wind which can be quite strong in certain areas. We had a great day thanks to Kauai SUP and Kayak. I highly recommend this business.
