Layout is weird but employees are super friendly and helpful. I came in here looking for a rash guard and bathing suit cover up or sundress. At first it didn't seem like they had much product for women. As I went to the fitting room I noticed more racks of women's clothing around the corner and up on higher racks in nooks and crannies. As I made my loop back to the entrance I noticed even more women's stuff. This was so annoying as I had already tried everything on in the fitting room and I didn't want to have to do it all over again. They could really use to put all of their women's products in the same area for ease of shopping. read more

Had some time to do a little shopping this morning at the Kukui Grove Center on Kauai and dropped into a couple of the stores, including the surf shop Deja Vu. I felt that they had a decent selection of surf wear from surf shorts to slippers and bags (for Kauai), but found some of the items a little pricey. I was also a bit irritated that the same teenaged sales girls kept coming over to us asking if we needed some help while we were looking through their shirt selection. Do they work on commission? One of the better surf shops on Kauai. They have a pretty good variety of stuff for men, women, and children. They also carry a lot of surf sports gear and accessories. I think in general surf brands are a little expensive but they always have some kind of special going on. Their staff is also super friendly and helpful and not overbearing. read more

Always find something when I go here. No matter if I'm looking for something or not, they always have something new to look at and I always wind up walking out with a bag. Men's, women's, kids, backpacks, board shorts, Tees, slippas... they got it all and then a bunch more accessories too. If you're in Lihue and need some new threads... stop by here. We went to get a bite to eat and ended up stopping by Déjà vu. I guess it was their anniversary party or something and they had a bunch of stuff going on and a huge sale. We sang some girl named Jenny Happy Birthday and did a bean bagt toss to get a free customized trucker hat. Which I love, it was so much fun. There is a real sense of community there and it was one of the highlights of my trip. You can't find surf shops like this in California. Definitely coming back on my next trip! read more

Customer Service sucks Had to ask for a dressing room , was not greeted at the door. They forgot to discount one of my items how can they forget that lol odd ..I told them and they end up discouting it. I only spent 46.82$ On a pretty cute dress and some flip flops .. I ran in after I placed a large order at Jamba Juice to price rash guard shirts, children and adults. The prices here were reasonable considering we are land locked. The prices on the south part of the island were easily twice as much as Deja Vu. I felt the staff was very helpful, knew exactly what I was looking for, friendly and checked me out in a quick yet professional way. read more

deja vu carries a nice selection of surfwear. shopping is quite limited on kauai, so this store has one of your bigger selections. it does cost more here than shopping on oahu, but i guess stores can afford to charge more when there isn't much competition. read more

I live here 3 months out of the year. Not rich but have a small place on the north shore. Prices are high, but they have a good selection of all things connected with water sports(from boogie boards to board shorts to flip flops). Shop there when I have to. But you can find better prices. read more
