My husband and I needed some clothes and we decided to stop here because it was within walking distance of the Grand Hyatt where we were staying. We had stopped at other shops and either women's suits were running $50 per piece for a bikini or more. Luckily I was able to find a two piece swimsuit from Sea Level Swim Australia here for about $70 due to a 50% off clearance sale. My husband got a discounted pair of swim trunks in the $30 range. Upon arrival, I found that due to a 50% clearance sale on certain items that this was the only affordable place in the area to find stuff under $100! My wife got a swimsuit from Sea Level Swim Australia for about 80 bucks (2-piece), while I got Billabong board shorts for $30!! Great deal! And a life saver too!! Anyhow it was our first time visiting this Aloha Exchange location and it was quite nice. It's a great spot to stop by if you're coming back from visiting the Kilauea lighthouse, pick up some nice clothing items for friends or relatives (local brand so its even more special) as gifts. Pricing is very competitive with our surf clothing shops but the quality of their shirts and shorts are much better and much softer than others. I'm not a booshee type person but other shops just can't compare to the quality of Aloha Exchange. The employees are all friendly and helpful and for some odd reason, the employee are all good looking lol (in both locations) model type. They must be Kauai made as well. Overall this Aloha Exchange location was very nice. It seems they have slightly different items from their Kalaeho location so it's worth the visit.
