My daughter's lei for her graduation was perfect and flowers look fresh! They also deliver!

Ordered flowers online for pickup a few days later. Went to the store and the store was closed. Note on the door saying that they will be working out of their home and to call a number for pickup. Mind you on my order I stated I need a morning pickup for first thing in the morning when the store open. The business did not state on the online order of the different pickup location nor did they contact me. I called the number went straight to voicemail. Left a few voicemails and they never called me back. Owner contacted me a week few days later and said she was out of town. I requested she issue a refund and she said she would. I appreciated it at the time. Since then, i have not received a refund. Contacted owner twice after that and she again said she will issue a refund. It's been over a month since my initial order and still yet to receive a refund. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!! read more

We went to this location last minute looking for a couple graduation leis. We thought it would be great since they had loads. Each refrigerator had signs that said not to touch merchandise yourself. So we waited patiently and watched the hustle and bustle. We noticed they had a friendly vibe but we weren't a part of it. We asked for help and they told us to just grab what we wanted. We had questions but friends seemed to stop by often and we were ignored. It was a pretty nice atmosphere and we got what we needed but it would have been nice to be helped. This place is amazing!!! I came in last minute to get 16 small bouquet's for my son's baseball team's Mother's day celebration. The shop was already busy and seemed like they had a lot of orders on the table already. They were able to source the flowers I was looking for, pick them up and make the bouquet's all before the end of day. The kids on the team were able to give the flowers to their mother's and grandmother's and they loved them!! Aloha Flowers absolutely saved the day! I'm hawaiian, & my family always makes our leis for celebrations by hand with flowers imported from the islands. It was two days before my sisters graduation for her masters degree, & we got notice that our flowers would be late & we wouldn't have the time to make the leis. I just about died at the thought of going & grabbing generic purple leis from a random flower shop, half wilted & the same as what so many others would be wearing. I came across Aloha Flowers by chance, & decided to make the 40 minute drive to Simi Valley based on the incredible selections I saw on their website. It was the friday morning of basically all of the graduations in the entirety of the LA area, yet they still had a handful of options to pick from (though in the future, given notice, i would definitely place a custom order because they can do some really incredible stuff.) They still had some great flower choices, tea leaves, & even a few haku available. The staff on (I think the guy helping me was the owners son) was very kind & willing to help me compare freshness of the colored leis that I liked as I needed them to last two days to transport to the central coast. So I order the dozen roses wrapped Hawaiian style. I also purchased additional flowers to be added to the roses at the suggestion of the owner. As you can see in the store's photo, it's a nice arrangement with at least three of the big tropical leaves and green leaves intermixed. However, this is not what I picked up. I got a dozen roses with some filler flowers, one leaf and it all was wrapped in black paper with a pink Dior ribbon tying it all together. It really felt thrown together last minute and I ordered these on the Tuesday before Valentine's Day (Friday). Just pretty disappointed. I just moved to Simi and struck out. The fillers didn't fill. Not very Hawaiian with one leaf. Black paper (granted it was good quality with a flower motif, but black?) and then the Dior ribbon, huh? read more

Aloha Flowers is amazing. I called them a few days before my daughter's funeral to order flowers on the recommendation of a friend. Kathy was so compassionate and caring. She helped me pick out the necessary arrangements and assured me that the flowers would be at the church on time and that she also would be present at delivery. The night before the funeral, Kathy called and texted to ask if she could make some slight changes to what I ordered. I assured her that her changes would be fine. I appreciated that she took time to check with me before making any changes. The morning of the funeral, Kathy and her team were at the church early and had everything that I ordered, plus some flowers that she had donated herself. Everything was beautiful. Kathy made sure that the flowers were placed correctly and went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with everything. I feel like I got scammed at this place. Firstly the website lists prices at $38, yet I was charged 50. Also their "lead times" on the website are not at all accurate, I called 3 days prior to an event (I know it was cutting it close), but their website listed most lead times at 2 days, with the longest being 4 days but some with no preorder required. I inquired about a blue Lei with orange flowers, based on all their info they would have a blue Lei as it required no preorder. So placed an order for blue, expecting blue. I pickup my Lei, it's a purple lei you can get at any roadside floral stand for $40, so not only do you over charge you just don't deliver what you promised. read more

The ceremony alter arch was beautifully decorated with flowers and she did the fabric draping herself for free (most other florists were charging extra as much as $150). Made an order on the phone and spoke to a person who worked there four days prior to my event to pick up a lei for my daughter's graduation. Confirmed the order the next morning with the owner Kathy by leaving a message. Then on the day of her graduation went to pick up the order and nobody was at the shop. I called and the owner asked me when was the latest I can come that day so we agreed to 2 o'clock. When I arrived at 2 o'clock, she did not have my order nor did she have any idea what I ordered. Placed my order almost 2 weeks in advance. I even called the day before my order was due to make sure they would be ready the next day at noon. I ended up going in on the day I ordered and flowers were not even started yet. They told me they would start my order right when the lady came back into the store and they would call me. They never called me - so I called them and she replied I'll call you back in 20 min. 20 min later no call! I called again and they said they are working on my order and will deliver them to my house. They did deliver my order at 9 pm! I was supposed to pick up my order at noon. Plus when they delivered my flowers on my porch they weren't even what I ordered! Hand bouquet was supposed to be Sunflowers with baby's breath. Not a mixed flower bouquet with a hydrangea. My center pieces had no sunflowers or wildflower theme to match the napkin I provided or even the blue vase with a burlap tie on it. Flowers were NOT what I ordered.
