Pretty cool. A lot of hand crafted items, food trucks, Hawaiian art. Love that its a covered market. Have a nice cool breeze rolling through. Stopped at a booth that make dog treats and had a kissing booth with their puppy. Lol good marketing to pull in customers.

The market was in a great spot, that was breezy and spacious. It was a little difficult to find parking though. The market was very pet friendly and seemed to have a lot of vendors for pets. For example, they had a pet picture artist, doggie day care, and doggie yoga. One of the vendors sold me a cute doggie yoga mat for $5. They also had food vendors: pizza and tacos were the most noticeable. We bought a pizza that was ready in 10 minutes! We made our own picnic nearby because all of the 2 tables were taken. They also sold some local produce like honey. There was one gender neutral bathroom that had a steady flow of people. I know this because the picnic spot we found was on a "bench" outside the building that the bathroom was in. It only comes up quarterly so will try to make the next one!

A pop-up kombucha bar called Chava!

The aloha home market is awesome! We were just walking around Kailua and happened to come across the market. The live music was a great touch, the local businesses were awesome (and hipster ), and it was really nice that the event was dog friendly (my girlfriend LOVES corgis). We ended up buying a really cool painting for our apartment and some reusable utensils- gotta keep it sustainable! The vibes were great, and I highly recommend checking it out if you are looking for some locally made art, clothing, furniture, food, or gifts. I'm a huge proponent of sustainability, and buying local is great for the economy and the environment!

This is the best market on O'ahu. All local vendors, Made in Hawai'i products. Fun and original items that are you won't find in many stores! Highly recommend!

Do you dream of having a vacation cottage with a beachy Hawaiian theme with a touch vintage…read moreflare...well Muse Kailua has that in the tiniest shop in Kailua. As a shell lover there was so much here that I loved that I've never seen anywhere else. Everything from clothing to jewelry, accessories, cards, trinkets and the cutest decor. I fell in love with a whale plate but went with a cup which can double as a bowl that I plan to use as a gift for a whale lover...gosh it's so cute!!! I absolutely love finding this somewhat hidden gem that's filled with so much selective treasures with the loveliest staff so patient and kind to compliment every choice you make. Support local, support small and follow them on Instagram @muse_kailua and their online shop https://www.musekailua.com and see the calm this Kailua boutique has to offer. Thank you!

I have many dream homes. My first dream home is a 3-story haunted Victorian Mansion with a large…read morewrap-around porch and wrought-iron fence outside. It would also have a large forest in the back with a small babbling stream running through it. The atmosphere would be a dark, dreary, foggy and rainy place. If you think I'm kidding, I am not. My second dream home would be another 3-story non-haunted Victorian Mansion with an airy porch with flowers all over the place, and the interior would be decorated with stuff from this store: Muse Kailua. I know non-haunted Victorian Mansions do not appear very oceany but who cares! I love the stuff in here and you could probably incorporate a lot of their stuff with your current decor. My current decor is shabby messiness with a hodge-podge of clutter, mess, papers strewn about, Halloween decorations out all-year-long, paper receipts piling up in boxes, dried hibiscus seed pods cluttering up the counter and a pile of (fake) skeletons on the living room floor. No, again I am not kidding. Aside from this foolish decor in my house, the stuff in here is the stuff I dream about: a clean, uncluttered home, airy windows with white billowy curtains, home smelling like fresh lemons and decor from Muse Kaiula: seashells, floral plates, tropical oceany goodness, whimsical lovely items and dream-like girlyness. If you are into Victorian, girliness, girly girl, mermaids, ocean, tropical, and ooh-la-la this is your place, and you're in luck if you're on the mainland because now they have their online store open!! Return factor: OF COURSE are you kidding??? Coz I'm not.

After a morning hike and lunch, we decided to walk around the area near Ganesh Dosa and peeked into…read morethe Kailua Pickers antiques shop. It's a small shop but it is packed with vintage merchandise. At first it feels overwhelming with all the different items that are displayed in the store, but once you see something that grabs your attention, your eyes focus on that one area of the shop. For me, being a huge Peanuts and Snoopy fan, the vintage Peanuts Christmas ornaments caught my eye. The vintage ornaments are ceramic, whereas the current ones are usually plastic. The salesperson seeing my interest in the Peanuts Christmas ornaments asked me if I'd like to see some that were still in boxes wrapped in tissue paper. Of course, I told her that I was interested! She was so patient unwrapping each ornament from the tissue paper and displaying them for me in the glass counter at the back of the store. She also pointed out all the different Peanuts merchandise that she had in the shop, including these really cool Peanuts Pepsi bottle caps from Japan. I didn't get the bottle caps, but I purchased several Christmas ornaments and Snoopy pins. I also added to my cart 8 Disney trading pins which were 4 for $5. I walked out of the shop with so many great finds totaling $160! The salesperson was so friendly and helpful (I didn't catch her name), that it made the 30 minutes that I spent in the shop "like a kid in a candy store" experience. I definitely will be back to this shop the next time that I visit Kailua!

I finally had an excuse to come to this one and was glad we did! The shop is welcoming with lots of colors and open door. They make the best use of their space, it's a tight squeeze which is extra challenging because this place is popular! It's covered in downtown Kailua, you can either enter from the street side or park in the middle lot right out front in the shared lot. The owner behind the counter was very welcoming and happy talking story with customers. My friends found a bunch of treasures, I got a LEGO set from a recent lot and she gave me a great price. If you're a fan of antiques, this is worth the trip.

Child's play filled with fun!…read more Love SoHa Keiki as it just really screams my inner child and wished I had all these items decades ago. Located in Kailua Shopping Center this super cute shop is filled with all things for the keiki...and keiki in heart. They do keep up with the trend which currently is Halloween which is on sale at the moment all the decor and spooky fun items are clever and entertaining and bargain like that is just so hard to resist. This shop is much smaller in comparison to Kahala but it's still filled with so much items many are very local like saimin and shave ice plushie to Hawaii puzzles, toys and decor with items for infants to toddler I've shopped here for gifts and many all ages would just love as well. Staff here is a delight and with lots of free parking making your shopping experience here fun and easy. Thank you!

Lucky for me, I was able to snag a parking spot right in front of the shop. I do know that this parking lot can get pretty packed, especially on the weekends. We were asked to bring a baby book and I loved all the options here from local authors/ artists! I picked up the " Aloha Friday Keiki Club". But there were so many other cute titles that I think would be a great addition to a keiki's reading collection. I also picked up a teething ring in the shape of a monstera leaf. I'm truly obsessed with all the island themed baby things here! They do have greeting cards but I didn't see any baby shower specific ones but there were a few cute birthday cards. If you're in the market for a baby or keiki gift- this is the perfect spot to find what you need.

Shopping in Kailua, O'ahu, Hawai'i…read more.. Strolling along the sidewalk, I passed by Aloha Kira and did a double take. I saw Miffy on the top shelf of this store. I had to go in and ask... "Is this store related to the one in Waikiki?" Yes! This is the sister store of Kira x Miffy at the Royal Hawaiian Center! Of course, we had to look at all of the Miffy merchandise... fanny packs, hair clips, stickers, caps, plushies, etc. Other items featured Hello Kitty, Kuromi, My Melody, Snoopy, and more! There were pet gifts and a children's corner! The decor was cute and bright! Service was cheerful and attentive! We'll be back because this shop is more convenient than Waikiki! Plus... there's free parking behind the building!

My biggest weakness is baggu bags- and they always have all the newest styles and colors. I will always check Aloha Kira before buying it online and avoid the shipping costs and wait. The selection here rotates so they always have the newest trends- from dresses, matching sets, and I love getting sunglasses from here. If you're looking for a gift for the "it girl" in your life, Aloha Kira is the shop to check out! It's a good price range, especially for gifts!
