I couldn't pass up on halo halo so I just had to get it!! I do want to try the Ube UBELICIOUS, lava flow and unicorn or aloha surprise I love the space with all the murals. The presentation of their halo halo is cute and the way it was displayed as well giving the impression it will taste amazing and guess what, it is!! I think the shaved ice is delicious but when it melts to liquid it's very sweet and creamy so I suggest enjoying with someone too because I am so looking forward to bring others here for a cool and sweet treat. Two years?!! I have missed this gem for two years! I just recently ran across a local based social media post celebrating this business and their two year anniversary. I went with a basic coconut over azuki beans (yes, I said azuki beans!!! - they have them) topped with condensed milk. Guava, POG and mango with ice cream for one daughter and Tiger's Blood, Lychee and Haupia for the other daughter both topped with Li Hing Mui powder. Portion sizes are much larger than expected but definitely welcomed. The only thing missing was the trip to the beach beforehand. Hands down my go-to for a taste of Hawaii. I have made sure to share pictures with the family back home on Maui that I have finally found a brick-and-mortar location that can sustain a piece of home between visits. On a hot day, this is a perfect treat. I went in June but lines were still out the door. Went back in July and no line during the weekday. It's a little overwhelming but I didn't know the photos near the register are types of shave ice. I made my own in regular with scoop of coconut ice cream, haupia, and peach flavors. Summer breeze was a combination of peach, mango and guava with vanilla ice-cream and condensed milk. The Eye of the Thai-ger was a blast of thai tea flavor with ice-cream, condensed milk and tapioca boba pearls. My husband and I ran over after work both times we've visited and had this as our dinner. It's that good and very filling. They weren't busy when we got there but they have a nice little gathering both times as we were leaving. The owners remembered us on our second trip and are so nice.
