Tiny Smoothie Shack w/ a Big Heart Kaylee's customer service was the best. She helped me decide between juices with free samples. I like stopping by on my way to the library or after the Saturday farmer's market. They have unique healthy menu options and fun grab-n-go gifts and snacks. I highly recommend the fresh watermelon juice. They have the coolest machine that somehow puts the juice into a pop-top plastic cup. It's impressive as I've never seen that anywhere before. Extremely convenient for grab n' go, I prefer it to plastic caps with straw holes. The juice was incredibly delicious; I was verrry happy with my choice to size up and it was half gone in minutes! I must have been dehydrated. Now I feel more hydrated than I have in days. BTW- the mini bubble blowers for a dollar made my day. It's the little things that can make your day. Such a cute place in Brentwood! We got 3 of our drinks in less than 5 minutes so it's hard to tell if they're made fresh or not. Orange dream: Pulp = made from real fruit! Vanilla almond milk amplified this drink in a good way and surprisingly kept it tangy and not too sweet. Triple threat: This one tasted a little watered down but it was really refreshing especially because it was all juice. Forbidden fruit smoothie: TASTY and refreshing. I stopped by after hitting the library. Thought I'd grab a coffee and snack and sit in the sun for a bit. I ordered the sugar cookie latte (hot) and the avocado toast on jalapeño bread. The young lady That helped me is super friendly. The latte was OK. Tasted a little watery to me. I still enjoyed it nonetheless. The avocado toast was good, simple, the bread was toasted perfectly and just the right amount of avocado. On top of the avocado was everything but the bagel seasoning. Great flavor! read more

Our favorite fruit dealer! Found Fruitopia a few years back at the Tracy Farmers Market and have been a loyal customer ever since. My kids love fruit and Kristina always provides the best, sweetest, and in season local fruits. Her menu is pretty creative in the way she creates fruit inspired entrees. We've followed/found her at so many markets, because we can't get enough of her items! She provides an assortment of menu items from smoothie bowls, parfaits, fruit kabobs, muffins, watermelon pizza, smoothies, and so much more! We even drove to her shop in Brentwood to try her soft serve, and it's definitely perfect for a warm day (or any day actually). She's the best and always friendly. Will continue to support! I have visited Fruitopia twice in the past three months. I do not recall the owners name, but he made a lasting impression and puts a lot of care into his work. They have excellent cold brew - he would ask how sweet I would like it to be and gave me a sample before I committed. I have tried the mocha hazelnut cold brew, which was not overly sweet. But I really love the vanilla cold brew. It also comes in a cute clear plastic container with a can pop-tab, which is wonderful if you are picking it up for someone else or want to have it later. It was a nice pick-me-up for the adults while the kids were playing at the park across the street. It's also located right next to the Brentwood Library and there's seating available so you can read a book and enjoy a cuppa! read more

Very first stop after entering the Bizerkeley food festival and it was a bad experience My aunt and I walked up after looking at the menu for a few moments there was a man and woman at the windows my aunt said" Hello how you doing?" Nothing was said back they just looked at us she said louder "Hey how you good people doing today ?" Again nothing just stone face she looks at me and asked is something wrong I said no let's go and we walked away . I then thought oh let me take a pic so I'll never end up doing business with them in the future so I walked back to the truck it was a black couple standing at the window who was also being ignored and I shared with them what just happened as I took my picture and they also walked away. Fruitopia is a vegan organic spot right outside the Brentwood Public Library! How I wish I had something like this around when my kids were younger. It's the perfect combination a waterpark, a library and a cooling vegan organic fruit stand! BW families are so lucky to have this here in Brentwood. Such a diamond for the community! I have so many positive things to say about this business, that I'm gonna create a whole post about them and videos to come. please support them and make sure you try everything here! My son and I were out for a bike ride on a toasty day. After swinging by the post office to drop off a couple packages we decided to stop for a cool snack. We shared the 32oz fruit bowl and a watermelon juice. The juice was so good and hydrating. Perfect on a hot day. It was cold and had a really good texture. Would definitely order again and I am not the world's biggest watermelon fan. What we really loved was the fruit bowl. Each layer was several different fruits and as we ate it my son changed which was his favorite through every layer. "The most amazing mango, how do they even get the watermelon so sweet and crunchy? I absolutely LOVE this place. When I'm in the area, I always make sure to treat myself to a tasty treat. I'm also happy that they are dairy free bc it's hard to find cold yummy treats that don't use dairy. My body thanks me along with my tastebuds. My go to will always be the smoothie bowls. It's like my ice cream and the fruit is so fresh and delicious. I also love the forbidden dragonfruit smoothie as well. I think I should just go down the list and explore everything on their menu. Anyway, the owner is super nice and easy to talk to. I can't remember how we got into a convo, but she told me that she's vegan and it's hard to find vegan food spots anywhere, which is true. I'm not vegan but I enjoy a good plant based meal, non-meat meal from time to time. Anyway, very chill and seemed like she enjoyed what she does and being able to work near the library, near the park and in DT Brentwood.
