Captain Tim and his mate Morty were amazing host. He was on time to pick up us and showed us how to properly use his Jet-ski. He took amazing pictures of everyone from the water to the deck. There is a designated area you are only allowed to ride but it's a good distance. We were allowed to take a grill and do a small cookout on the deck. The area had a table and sittings that you can relax and swim. We saw many fishes and turtles. The pricing is fair and better than other locations I called. One of the best experience I've had in Hawaii, I forgot his name but he was great he came and picked us up on his boat and then bought us out the dock with the jet skis. Soon as you get their he will give you a life vest and go over safety and how to drive the jet ski, it's quick and easy. He will get you out on the water fast and you'll be having fun. First few laps around the big triangle I was going a little slow but you warm up Quick to it. After a few laps I was ripping around and having a blast. Do the platform experience if you can round up a big enough group. It was so much fun and everyone had enough time. We had 2 groups of 12 and 2 hours for each group and 4 jetskis. Everyone had a chance to go out, take turns, or do doubles. It was a ton of fun and the course that they had us do was actually pretty big. There were some turtles that popped up so definitely watch out for them and there isn't a restroom on the platform so use it beforehand. We had the most amazing time yesterday w/ Aloha Jet Ski. Capt. Darren was super cool. He went over a few things on the boat ride over and everything else when our entire party (12) was on the platform. He explained safety and procedure, which were not out of the ordinary from any other disclaimer/waiver. We brought our own food and drinks (non-alcoholic, which makes sense). He was super quick to get to you when one of us fell off. It was like a Baywatch action scene! We all had such a good time, we definitely plan to go back. I already spoke to my family about having a family day there with Aloha Jet Ski. The pictures he took were amazing, Morty (the dog) has become my new best friend! I forgot my shorts and he met me at the dock the next day to return them. We are a family of 5 and were the only ones during our 45 minute appointment. I thought I would want to stay longer, but your hands do get tired from pulling the gas handle. I rode a ski with my 7 year old son. He didn't want to go to fast, but he did enjoy it. One note to remember is not to get too close to another jet ski (within 100 feet) or they have sensors to slow you down to avoid an accident. We will remember that the next time we go. Came here on a Monday morning and they were pretty rushed since we got there 5 minutes late and they said they had a packed schedule. One of our friends that was there already told them if they could wait and the staff's reply was "we hope they get there on time". It was just our group that was on the boat so our friend told them it was okay to just cut the riding time since we were late. When we got out there they put us on the jet skis and told us the instructions relatively quick. Once out there, the jet skis were pretty fun and they went up to 60 kmh which was about 37mph. Overall, a pretty cool thing to do if you've never done jet skiing before, the course just seems pretty boring since it's a set course (clockwise only, 100 feet apart from each rider and no talking to others). However the customer service was extremely bad and I wouldn't recommend this to anyone else. read more

Jet ski was great! We had a fun time! This is not a tour, just an opportunity to ride the jet skis on a course. Owners were very nice and even brought their co-captain, Bentley (see pup picture)! They take some awesome pictures of you in action. Then was picked up and brought to the platform in the ocean. There you'll get your instructions, life jackets and off you go! You get to ride around 3 buoys that form a large triangle. There aren't many companies that offer Jet Skiing as an activity in the Honolulu area so if you really want to Jet Ski I would recommend Aloha Jetski. You're going to have to take an Uber and follow the directions they give you to find their loading place. It was about a $40 Uber from the Waikiki area to their location on Sand Island Parkway and a $40 Uber back home, totaling to $80 for transportation which is a little high but if you want to jet ski, it comes with a price given the area. Arrive on time and wait by the docks. I had to give them a call and wait a little while to get on the boat but we weren't in a rush to get to our next activity during the day. The wife and husband who run the company were pretty good people. The husband was nice and walked us through everything. They run 3 skis at a time and there were 3 of us in my party so there was nobody else on our boat besides their dog. It took about 2 minutes to get used to the fast jet ski and learn how to operate it. They restrict you to a triangle shaped course due to the surrounding reef and natural reasons so it felt a little repititive half way through my time but it was still a very fun activity. It was definitely my favorite activity out of all I did during my time in Hawaii. The husband immediately came out to my jet ski to make sure I was ok when I wiped out and fell in the water. They are very strict on the age policy and the Phone/GoPro/Camera policy so be sure to have your ID or passport if your 16 year old kid wants to drive the jet ski and don't even ask them to bring your Go Pro or camera as they will not let you at all due to a previous incident. They do take pictures of you which you can purchase for $30 on a SD card and the pictures were awesome. Overall if you want to jet ski in Honolulu this is the place to go for sure. My boyfriend and I were planning a trip to Hawaii and I came across a GREAT jet skiing deal on Groupon. Aloha Jet Ski- $37 per jet ski for 45 minutes of ride time. Initially I was thinking we could get just one jet ski, but I knew we would both want to race each other. Learning how to jet ski was easy, it was FINDING the meeting location that was difficult. We had rented a car so we decided to meet at the lagoon. The company offers shuttles from major hotels, so if you aren't too familiar with the area, I'd recommend going that route. We were taken on a ferry to the middle of the lagoon. Upon arrival, our instructor gave us clear instructions on how to operate the jet skis and reviewed all things we should and shouldn't do. You are limited to a certain area of the lagoon since there are other boats and people on jet skis out there. I was bummed to find that out, but once I got on the water, I realized that our area was pretty big and it wasn't an issue. Aloha Jet Ski did a great job. We didn't have to worry about a thing, we were able to focus on enjoying ourselves. Jet skiing with a perfect view of Waikiki and Diamond Head was amazing! I took my girlfriend here on her first solo jet ski excursion a few weeks ago. I was reluctant at first thinking that the registration process would be a few hours but it only took 5 min max. The owners were super cool and provided great instructions on how to ride and navigate through the course. We were the only ones there and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Sand Island Harbor. The 45 minute ride time was perfect and a lot of fun. I'm definitely gonna take my daughters here the next time we're on island. They also took great pics of us and sold them for a nominal fee. We booked the party platoon and it was all worth it. It was our first time being on Jetski's and we had little ones (7, 12, 13, and 18). My kids had a blast riding with us and the jet skis were easy to navigate. For two hours we had the whole course to ourselves. The captain was humble and made sure we were comfortable with the Jetski. Before booking I was worried about my kids getting run over by other jets but we were the only ones out there which made it less anxious for me. We were really excited for our experience, they made us pay prior to going. We checked the website to see where to go and it said it was at "Hawaii Water Sports Center". When we realized we were at the wrong place, we called them and said we were going to be a little late. The guy who answered the phone basically said tough luck, we asked if we could reschedule for another time and he would not do that so we asked if we could get at a least a partial refund and he said no again. We were 10+ minutes late to the dock but he kindly waited for us to arrive, and didn't leave without us. I was really worried because we were stuck in traffic for a while, but Glenn was so nice and accommodating. I really recommend This place to jet ski, as it is not too close to waikiki, and doesn't feel EXTRA touristy. It's like a very nice getaway where it felt super private and the view was fantastic.
