Omg! This was hands down one of my favorite adventures in Oahu! Tom, Savannah, and Bella were amazing! They were so accommodating! We were able to bring our own food and drink. Tom was such a great cook! So cool to be able to bbq on the water. Savanah and Bella set out all of our food and things we brought to feast. Loved that they captured special moments and took pictures. Sometimes you're having so much fun that you forget to capture the moments. Also appreciated that I could play my music on the boat. We went snorkeling and sailed for 4 hours! Seems like a long time but it felt more like 1 hour. Time flies while you're having fun! We saw lots of fish and my favorite!... Honu! We booked the fireworks cruise with Capt. Tom, Bella, and Savanah about 2 weeks in advance for my daughter's 18th birthday. The crew was super fun, easygoing, and made us feel right at home. Shout out to Savannah and Captain Steve for making our 3-hr Private Charter one to remember for us hungover gals !! We booked a 3-hr private charter for a bachelorette. We were greeted by Savannah and Captain Steve at the Ala Wai Boat Harbor. They took us on board the catamaran and anchored in a nice spot near Diamond Head. We were a bit hungover, so hanging out at the spot was perfect for our group. A few girls jumped into the water and were provided flotation devices. They had a speaker on board so we could play our music. There was a bathroom onboard, as well. Although a bit tricky to work, it got the job done. On our way back to the harbor, we spotted some dolphins and we followed the pod for a bit which was definitely the highlight of our trip !! What was cool about booking with Sail Hawaiian Style was that we were able to bring our own food or beverages on board. Granted we did not prepare well in advance for this and ran into some traffic on our way to Foodland so we ended up bringing McDonalds, which still worked out. They provided: Life jackets; Snorkel gear (we didn't need this); Two ice chests with ice; Onboard stereo system with Bluetooth; BBQ grill (another item we didn't need to use). My fiancée, her friends, and I all had the ABSOLUTE PLEASURE of going on a Sail Hawaiian Style Catamaran private charter for two hours. Of all the things we got to do on our proposal trip, this was my fiancée's 2nd most favorite activity--and that's only because her favorite activity was the actual proposal itself. Barring the proposal though, of the 20 different activities we did across our entire time at Oahu, she said that the private charter with Sail Hawaiian Style Catamaran was by far her favorite. And it was mine too. They were very responsive to my initial inquiry messages and answered all my questions without making me feel dumb (even though my questions may have possibly been dumb). Savannah, who picked up the phone when I called to book, was so helpful and pleasant. On the day of the charter, we had the absolute pleasure of hanging out with Captain Tom and Savannah--both of whom, from my understanding if I'm not mistaken, are currently in the running for coolest people in the world. Like, you don't understand, if we had the funds for it, we'd do book this experience all over again several times over, just for the express purpose of hanging out with Captain Tom and Savannah. They had the level of coolness and chillness that made our group wanna sit on that catamaran with them for hours and just hang out. It felt as if we had known them for a long time and they were just part of the group. We specifically mentioned the purpose of this charter to be for taking photos and chillin. Our experience was BYOB so we brought a bunch of mixed drinks and beers. We didn't get through much of it though since we basically spent the entirety of the charter ooh-ing and ahh-ing at all the cool sights Captain Tom and Savannah took us to. They were a wicked combo--Captain Tom kept bringing the boat 'round so the view of diamond head was behind us and the sun was casting that amazing golden hour glow on our faces, while Savannah played the role of the photographer. The view of Waikiki and Diamond Head at sunset combined with the chill vibes and music (u play your own!) and the company of best friends and Captain Tom and Savannah made for what we considered to be the best vibez we've ever experienced in our lives. If you're looking for any sort of catamaran experience or are specifically looking for a private charter, then PLEASE do yourselves a favor and BOOK SAIL HAWAIIAN STYLE CATAMARAN. I absolutely LOVE this catamaran and it's crew! The location is perfect as there is parking right by the catamaran, some free but the lot is only $1/hr. The boat is well maintained by the crew. Captain Tom and Savannah are so awesome! They are chill and accommodating to.your needs. They allow you to plug in your own device so you can hear.your playlist. They also provide enough snorkel gear for our group of 9. Savannah takes you directly to wear the turtles are feeding and sometimes they come up to the surface. We were able to bring our own cooler and food. Tom is an excellent captain and knows how to sail even in the craziest conditions. I usually get seasick but I haven't. I have booked this 3 weekends in a row. Tom and Savannah are my absolute favorite! read more

This was the highlight of our trip. Absolutely fantastic experience. We had a small 8 year old child and my elderly mother who has slight mobility issues. She was able to get onboard no problem and had a comfy seat for the trip. I'm nervous on the ocean and they were kind and patient and I got in the water but also snorkeled a tiny bit near the boat which I did not expect to feel comfortable doing, we got to see turtles and so many fish. The bean bags were a huge hit and it felt great to relax and enjoy the ride. 3 of our group usually get seasick and not one of us had any problems. Splurge for this - it was totally worth it! We did a 2 hour excursion and could have enjoyed it for way more time. We will recommend this to everyone! read more

It was an awesome experience! Starting with the initial phone inquiry, Savanah was very helpful answering my questions and giving me suggestions about our outing. The dock was fairly easy to find. The catamaran is clean and comfortable. They have snorkeling gear ready to use. Meeting the crew, Captain Tom and Auggie (apologies if I misspelled your name!) are friendly and made us immediately feel welcome. Auggie took great care in guiding us to the snorkeling site and ensured our safety the whole time. Captain Tom found whales for us! I went on a sail last night with my wife & children. We saw a breathtaking sunset, witnessed the beautiful lights of Honolulu come on as nightfall fell over the city, and then we got to see the Friday night fireworks of Waikiki. We were blessed with strong winds so had some awesome sailing that gave us a fun ride up on the nets. Repeatedly had large pods of dolphins alongside us. Can't say enough good things about Captain Steven, his crewman Eric and the star of the show, Hawaiian Style, a 48' custom made sailing catamaran that completes the postcard as it cruises through the waters off Waikiki. The captain and Eric were accommodating, helpful and, after 30 years in and around Oahu, very informative. Our family of 7 included a 2-year-old and a non-swimmer and we felt safe from the first moment until we came back to port. The captain knows the area quite well and whether you have activities in mind or prefer to let him design your perfect day, this is an unforgettable experience. The catamaran is well-designed, fast, comfortable and very well-equipped and maintained. From snorkeling to fishing and cooking, you can do it all while sailing Hawaiian Style. It felt like it could easily accommodate more than twice as many of us. Last, but certainly not least, is the background. The waters around Oahu / Honolulu / Waikiki are internationally famous for very good reasons; movie studios routinely film in the area because the backgrounds and scenery sell themselves. Sailing offers an incomparable opportunity to admire this pristine environment; wildlife encounters were common. We left wanting more and we will be back. read more
