I noticed this reviewers abuse of the equipment well before the Trainer, mentioned in the review, came in. The equipment is fairly new and not rusted at all. It's all very well maintained. The reviewer was treating the equipment very aggressively. It was very apparent that he did not have any care for the gym. The Trainer was not rude. She asked the reviewer twice to stop abusing the equipment. He continued to disrespect her and the gym. She had no choice to calmly ask him to leave. He argued, of course, and finally left when more staff came over. I'm sure PH gym would love his business.

He gave us options on either drop ins, class passes or weekly pass and we decided to sign up for the whole week. The classes were fun & the other athletes were really welcoming. We never felt like outsiders and felt more comfortable than in any other gym we've dropped in at. We learned a lot in a week there and we both hit a PR on our power clean. I've worked out with different fitness instructors before, and none of them are comparable. Ty takes his time to explain the exercise and the benefits of doing it. He is more of a coach and mentor, not just an instructor, ensuring that you fully understand why you're doing the exercise you're doing. Basically, if you don't understand the reasoning, you won't realize the benefits. My family could see a positive difference in my mood and attitude, not just with my appearance, when I took time out for myself. This seems to be one of the only studios located near the resort area. The studio itself is small, with 10 bikes, but it fits the bill. I had the same instructor both days and she was welcoming and energetic. My only qualm is that I'm used to a different style of bike and different kinds of music, but I'm also spoiled with my go-to studio in Southern California. If your looking for a place to work out at on vacation, this is a great option. It is reminiscent of the 24 hour spinning classes if you are familiar with the structure of those. If spinning isn't your thing, I believe they offer Pilates as well as free weights and cardio machines.
