What I appreciated most was the flexibility and convenience. I was able to book online via yelp. I had a last minute flight to Maui and at the click of a few buttons I had an appointment while sitting on the plane in that same day. By the time I landed, I got a phone call confirming my appointment and a request to change by 15 minutes - not at all a big deal as it was something that I only did an hour before. The location is very convenient and away from the traffic and congestion of Paia. If coming from Kahului, you can take the bypass which will easily allow you get out of the traffic and stop and go! Kundra worked with me and gave me the deepest deep tissue massage I've had.... and I think the best massage I've had, period. Her hands are magic! My husband had been suffering from some hip pain over the past few months that other massage therapists were unable to help with. Coreena, however, was up to the challenge, and used deep massage technique along with yoga positioning to really get to the root of his problem, and he FINALLY feels so much better! Coreena has really gifted hands! My muscles in my legs were super stiff and sore from a hike earlier this week- I couldn't even get up from a kneeling position without grabbing onto something. They feel much looser and flexible now. I also have a lot of tension in my back and neck, and the Swedish massage helped a lot with that. While on vacation, I had a small fender bender but hurt my left shoulder. My wife found me Coreena and she was available to fit me in for an end of the day appointment. We went to her studio and were happy to see that she had a free parking lot. Her studio is really relaxing and calm. There is a comfortable massage table. Coreena worked my shoulder really hard and made the pain much better. But she saved the best for last when she gave me a much more relaxing wind down-rub. She is intuitive with her work and knew exactly the areas that needed to be focused on. This was exactly the deep tissue treatment I so needed. My boyfriend and I found Aloha Massages through Yelp, and decided to book a couples massage based on the excellent Yelp reviews! And I am so glad that we did! Our therapists were Coreena and Diana, and they were amazing. Afterwards we both said that they would become our regular massage therapists if we lived in HA (or they lived in CA)! That's saying a lot, as we have massage therapists that we like in CA! The location was fun - it's a little off the beaten path of Paia, which is charming and totally worth the brief drive out of town. At the location there is also food offered and yoga classes, though we didn't partake of either of those options. If you've tried to park in Paia you'll appreciate this next observation... there's a huge parking lot with almost unlimited parking. We are very glad that we had this massage experience! My friend Suzanne and I were pleasantly surprised by the level of experience in massage that Corinna and Dominique had. The massage area is one large room off of the cafe with a yoga studio next door, and we had our massages simultaneously. Easy parking out front. We booked the same day. Dominique did deep tissue massage and worked on Suzanne around her sinuses, which then drained over the next day and cleared up a problem she didn't even know she had! Dominique also massaged Suzanne's internal organs. Super relaxing, very nurturing massage focusing on the areas with the most need. I prefer softer massage, and Corinna checked in to adjust the level of pressure for my regular massage. I relaxed deeply!
