I contacted Ricardo after checking out his reviews, he responded quickly and we easily set up an appointment. He discussed possible options of placement of the ports since the roof and outer walling might pose an issue, but he was able to find good placement of my ports. Job was done quick and easy in less than 2 hours. Aside from making a hole in the wall for the ethernet port placement, no additional breakage of the wall was necessary. Ricardo did say that in some cases, depending on the walling and roofs, breakage of the wall would be necessary for some people, but not mine fortunately. Ricardo and is colleague were awesome, professional yet friendly and personable. They cleaned up after themselves and did an overall fantastic job to make any streaks or scrapes anywhere. HIGHLY recommended if you are looking to have ethernet ports installed that extend from your main router/modem that go through the wall/roof so you don't have ethernet cords lying around on the floor.

He answered all my questions in a timely manner and offered additional information to consider. Negotiations on cost were straightforward and no pressure or surprises. He makes you aware of options and recommendations, and lets you decide. Cost for his services was better than others, and I felt more comfortable using his company. They know what they're doing and I would have no hesitation using them again for any of my electronic wiring needs.

I had no issues with the alarm service itself. But I do have major issues with shady business…read morepractices. I do realize that ADT corporate is different from installers like DPS and my complaint is more with corporate, but I feel it is my duty to inform potential DPS customers what it is like to work with ADT. DPS did my initial install and while they have been professional and courteous, they are attached to a deceitful company. Last fall, I decided to sell my house. I wanted to upgrade my control panel to an all-digital panel as part of sprucing up the house for sale. A tech came out to check out my equipment. He quoted me a price for the new panel and came out the next day to install it. I have now moved and called ADT to cancel my service. I was informed that when I upgraded my control panel, I signed a 2 year contract. Well, I was not informed of this by the tech. Did I read the purchase document for the panel? No. I'm admitting fault on that - but I was told it was just for the panel. Again, I told ADT (both in my initial reach out and in person with the tech) that I was doing this to upgrade for a MOVE. I made it clear I was LEAVING. Why on earth would I agree to a 2-year contract extension? After more than an hour on the phone with ADT trying to get it canceled (I was transferred 5 times) I was told I got the penalty reduced to "$22/month for 12 months." Before I signed (as I was in a hurry as I was at work and had already spent more than hour trying to get a simple contract canceled), I asked the account manager if there were any other hidden fees associated with the contract. He said no. Imagine my surprise the next day when a self-install unit arrived at my door with a pricetag posted to my account for ~$400. Once again, the account manager knew I was living with family and did not want or need an alarm. I do believe I was intentionally set up twice - and fell for it. That is on me. It's on ADT that I was set up. Nefarious business practices. I reported this to the BBB and a day or so later, I got an offer from ADT to reduce my penalty by $500. (The penalty was originaly showing as $1,300.) So now it's down to $700 but I am not giving up on principle. I was a customer for more than 8 years. I paid every bill on time every month. When I buy my new home, you can bet for certain it will NOT be with ADT.

I had them out a week ago. They replaced a broken camera…read more They charged me another service fee to fix issues. The tech did not fix the problems. They got worse after he left. The issues not fixed and now lost zones. The 3rd area he briefly looked at is not working either. The techs Eric and Cesar were able to help in the past. Just not with my current issues. For the $655 I already paid. They ended up sending out a different Tech today. Felipe took the time and did a thorough testing of my system, resolving my issues. He was caring and professional. I'm thankful my complete system works again. 5 stars to Felipe, Eric and Cesar.

Used their service/product with no issue for a couple of years after our house got burglarized…read more Easy to use, customer service was great and responsive. However due to Covid they end up tacking on a truck fee of $90 whenever they do a service call. The system that I had was different from others so when I asked for them to come out to replace a sensor and a smoke detector, it took them 3 hours to realize that they were missing the right sensor so i had to reschedule another service call (and you guessed it) for another $90. Got an invoice for the 3 hour labor on top of the truck fee. Customer service was able to waive the first truck fee. When I spoke to the owner he was dismissive of his customer's concerns and went on to condescendingly say how his microwave was broken and it couldn't be fixed but he still had to pay the repairman (how is this relevant?). Now mind you, I don't mind paying the fee, but shouldn't HQ know what system I have/sensor to bring? It's not about how much the fee is but me having to take another day off to reschedule because a lack of preparedness on their part. After paying for the invoice, I decide to part ways with AMTEC due to their exorbitant fees and we are going with another alarm system. One where you can install yourself where you don't need to have anyone dispatched.
