It was all via text message, so there…read morewas no way for anybody to forget the agreed-to appointment time, yet somehow Steve managed to schedule my appointment at 2:30 instead of 2 pm, as we agreed via text message. So when I showed up, the artist wasn't even there and I sat there just waiting until another employee at the shop called Steve. He verified he wrote down the wrong time, so I asked for my $60 deposit back (which I had to drive all the way there to give them 8 days before the appointment since they only accept Zelle and Apple Pay) the employee called Steve again to see about a discount to keep my appointment, and Steve offered me $20 off, which was insulting. The other employee insisted the artist was on their way, but having an artist rush over from home to do permanent ink on your body is never a good idea. They should've been there waiting and ready to go before I arrived. I took my $60 back and left. And I won't be back. The artists may be good but because of the guy who runs the place, I'll never know.

One thing I always appreciate about here is how friendly, caring, and informative everyone is. Whether I have questions about anatomy or aftercare, they always explain everything clearly and never make me feel rushed or confused. And honestly, the piercing process is always way faster and smoother than I expect. I'll mentally prepare for it to hurt and then suddenly they're like "all done!" and I'm sitting there like "oh, that wasn't bad at all" haha. That's also why all my cartilage piercings (3 helix's, 2 tragus's, conch, daith, and rook) have been done here!

1/30/26 - Called about information for a walk in to get my septum and a pair of lobe piercings…read moredone. They were very informative about hours and pricing. Most importantly they were able to do the piercings I wanted the same day unlike the other shops I called. When I arrived, the store was empty, very clean and quaint. Just the two workers opening the store for the day. I filled out the consent form and about 10 minutes later I was called to the back by Melissa who measured my existing piercings to mark them on my other ear. Very happy with her attention to detail. Everything seemed to be sanitized properly as well, at least to my untrained eyes. She went ahead with the lobe piercings after letting me see the spots she marked using a handheld mirror and they turned out great. I had the same experience with the septum as well. Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience here at Mint Condition and Melissa's work, and will always consider this place first when I'm ready to get my next piercings!

The studio is easy to find, very clean, and comfortable. Jadyn is very conscientious and accommodating. I also really liked that he was fairly perfectionistic in stencil placement and in checking how the design was looking - really important bc he uses a lot of straight lines in his work! I absolutely recommend him, and I hope he gets lots of clients. Also, a big plus for the studio location: it's near some good and quick food options (always good when you're getting tattooed) like servandos, in n out, and wake cafe.

My design had many mixed elements from different sources and Jadyn blended them together in a way that brought my vision to life so much better than I even imagined. The studio itself is very clean and feels so calming. I immediately felt relaxed. Jadyn spent a lot of time with me going over the stencil and placement. I really appreciated the recommendations and their impeccable attention to detail. Jadyn's style has a lot of dramatic, geometric lines and you could tell they were constantly analyzing the work throughout the process to make sure everything lined up and came out beautifully. I had only ever gotten my ears pierced at the mall with one of those terrible piercing guns so this was my first experience getting a piercing professionally done and it was so great. Elisea made me feel super comfortable. She was super chill and very thorough when explaining the piercing process and after care. The piercing itself was almost painless, very quick and the worst part was really just putting the jewelry in and even then it was maybe a 2 out of 10 on the pain scale. Unfortunately, the wait wasn't the only issue during my first visit. When I finally got in, the interaction with one of the staff members felt uncomfortable. I asked a simple, genuine question about whether piercings on each side have any meaning. He said he didn't know, which was perfectly fine, but the way he responded afterward left me wondering if he was being sarcastic or mocking me. It felt unnecessary, unprofessional, and honestly made me hesitant to return. These days it seems like you can't ask anything without someone turning it into something political, and that's not what I came in for. I did go back for a second visit, and that experience was completely different -- much more easygoing. I guess it really just depends on who you get. Still, that first impression was annoying enough that I've never looked back since. If you decide to visit, I recommend coming with a friend, especially if it's your first time. Having someone with you can help avoid misunderstandings, give you clarity, and make the whole experience feel more comfortable and supported.
