Got my ink done by Rene and I could not be more in love with my rose. I've already got so many compliments on his work and it's only been two weeks. Also, the vibes at the shop were immaculate with such friendly artists. I can't wait to be back. Thank you again Rene!

UPDATE! (10.11.22) HE CALLED TO VERBALLY HARASS ME. HE DID NOT CALL TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT. HE CALLED BECAUSE OF MY HONEST REVIEW. Eric Barrera (the shop owner) BLOCKED ME on BOTH accounts. Please see attached photos. After the incident he called me SEVERAL hours later. He called to VERBALLY HARASS ME. He called me "stuck up", "entitled", and "rude" for my HONEST review of my experience. All the proof is in the photos attached to this review. He NEVER showed up to our PREPAID/PLANNED/SIGNED CONTRACT Appointment. If the appointment time was not best, or outside store hours, he did not make me aware of this. I stated Sunday would be great, because this is a MEMORIAL TATTOO OF MY MOTHER. HE IS BLAMING ME FOR THIS INCIDENT. WHEN HE IS AT FAULT. I came in an hour before the set appointment time. I contacted them several different ways to ENSURE A RESPONSE. I contacted them through MAIN shop page, the artist public page, and through their shops phone. NO RESPONSE AFTER AN HOUR. I called out of my own convenience praying someone would answer, and Leo (employee) answered. Leo was empathetic to the situation and understood why I was upset. Leo stated he will get in contact with Eric personally to find out the reason for the situation. This BUISNESS OWNER (ERIC BARRERA) is IRRESPONSIBLE. HE RUNS BOTH ACCOUNTS. He will not take accountability for his mistake, and WILL NOT provide me with a FULL refund. I have NEVER received a tattoo that was planned/paid for. I have NOT received my deposit back. I have multiple tattoos from several other artists, who have NEVER treated me like this. He tried giving me STORE CREDIT rather than a full refund, which was previously agreed/offered. (Please see photo) Rather than taking accountability, he tries to guilt trip me. But this guilt trip does not seem real, due to the fact he blocked me and NEVER gave a refund. He blocked me on both the MAIN shop account (@flyingdaggertattoo) and (@junkyardkid151). I DO NOT feel comfortable receiving a tattoo/store credit from a SHOP THAT WILL BLOCK YOU FROM SPEAKING THE TRUTH OF THEIR MISTAKES. I DO NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE GETTING A TATTOO FROM HIM OR ANY ARTIST FROM THIS SHOP. I DO NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE KNOWING THAT HE HANDLES A CUSTOMER'S NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE BY HARASSING THEM OVER THE PHONE. YOU SHOULD NEVER CALL A CUSTOMER AND CALL THEM RUDE NAMES FOR YOUR OWN MISTAKE. This is my first ever negative experience received. Previous artists have never treated me with such unprofessionalism. The reason why I reached out to this company for a tattoo was because my mother and I got matching tattoos here before she passed away. The tattoo that was supposed to be done was in remembrance of my mother since she passed 2 years ago. I wanted to go back to the place where my mom and I shared an amazing experience before in memory of her, and to help cope with her passing. This experience with the shop has ruined that for me.

Went during their Friday the 13th promo to get some piercings with a friend. Waited about an hour and a half which was not bad considering the amount of people that were there. Alexx was very professional and nice. I just new I was in good hands because she took every precaution to make sure everything was sanitary - I think she like changed her gloves like 4 times and when I accidentally touched my ear after she cleaned it, she cleaned it once more. In all honestly I personally think he is one of the best American tradition artist in cali, most detailed oriented, fast, cleanest straightest lines and each have healed so well. I'm just gonna start off by saying this tattoo shop is rad. My daughter and I love the original paintings on the windows and not only were they warm and welcoming as soon we stepped foot in the door, we was able to wait while watching one of my favorite classic Cartoons, Ren & Stimpy in a clean, cozy friendly environment. Eric tattooed me, and he really took the time to make sure the stencil he created was exactly what I wanted, size , placement, details and all. I got two small tattoos back to back and his light hand really made sitting through both of them a breeze. They healed beautifully and couldn't be happier with the outcome. Thanks again Eric!

My tattoo artist was Eric, the owner of the shop. Really chill atmosphere which helps a lot when you're about to get hit with a needle a few times. Eric was accommodating to me and I got an appointment basically the next day after the consultation. I asked for just a simple crescent moon tattoo and he knocked it out in under 30 minutes. I'm absolutely in love with it. He did such a good job keeping the lines smooth and even, which I was nervous about with it being such a thin tattoo. The crescent isn't at all lopsided either. 10/10 experience overall. He actually cares about his business and his craft; l really respect that. 100% recommend them!!!!

Hands down best shop in Pomona!! This shop is super inviting and never overbooks. My sessions here have always felt so personal and never rushed. The artists here work with you to give you the best art and experience possible. I have gotten my last few pieces from Rene and have never been let down. Not only has Rene always eased my pre tattoo jitters but has improved and personalized every designed I've sent him. I will recommend this shop to everyone I know!! I'm still waiting. There are workers in the back talking to eachother instead of helping me. I just want jewelry for my belly piercing. Shit takes like three minutes. I've been here for half an hour and still no help. I'm fuckin over it.... Update: I had to ask a tattoo artist, while he was working on a client if he could get someone to help me. He apologized and another man came out to ask if I've been helped. I said no & he asked what I wanted- he went to go get the girl who didn't fuckin help me. I don't want to judge the place off of this girl terrible customer service but fuck- if u want to get any piercings DO NOT go to this place. I recently got a tattoo from one of the shop's newer artists Chandler and it was a great experience. I initially wanted to get something quick so I came in with a traditional tattoo picture. Chandler then suggested we set up an appointment instead for a couple days later so he can draw the piece out himself and make it really nice. Offered me a solid price and on the day I came in knocked it out of the park. He did a wonderful job and I will be coming back. Also to note, everyone in the shop is friendly and welcoming. This is an awesome tattoo place to get tatted at. They are helping me to love my body with every piece of art I can add to it. They do amazing work and are so nice and accommodating. This time was the fourth tattoo I had gotten from this parlor, specifically by Louie (who is absolutely awesome) and I had asked a week prior about getting this done. The only day I was available was on a day that the shop was usually closed, but both Louie and Eric were able to accommodate to my needs and allowed me to come in and get some work done. The environment they have created in the shop is a comfortable one and I feel like all of my needs could be met there. They have yet to let me down and I doubt they will do that to anyone that knows how to communicate what they want. read more

Flying Daggers has been my go to tattoo shop for the past 5 years. The owner, Eric, is one of the best traditional tattoo artists in the game and is one of the most accommodating people you'll ever meet. I have had the pleasure of having my arm sleeve tattooed by Eric and it never fails to get me compliments wherever I go. Eric's work is clean, vibrant, and lasts. As a woman who has been to a number of tattoo shops, I can honestly say that Flying Daggers is the shop that has made me feel the safest. Everytime I come in for an appointment, I know that I am going to be protected and respected by the entire Flying Daggers team. Eric constantly works to accommodate my time and budget and has never failed me. I got my belly button pierced here today and had the best experience. Eric Barrera pierced me and he is very professional and timely. I'm a little on the chubby side and I'm extremely happy with placement as I'm confident it won't look too weird if I lose weight. He was perfect throughout the piercing process and I was completely comfortable even though it did hurt. All of my questions were answered well and aftercare was explained thoroughly. I've gone to Flying Daggers Tattoo Parlor twice -- and both were on a whim experiences. The first was for Friday the 13th, where I picked the cock. Because yeah. ;) The second time was my last day at my Panera Bread. A homegirl and I decided to get tattoos as a way of saying goodbye, and hello to a friendship outside of work. LOL. I go in and Eric, the guy who did my cock tattoo, instantly recognized me. But then again, he did see the tattoo. Anyway, I didn't really have a concept in mind, other than "I want to get a tattoo." So I just blurt out an idea out of my ass, "I want lucky cat." Y'all know lucky cat. It's the cat statue you see at Asian restaurants. Their hand's mechanical and it swings as if it's waving at you. Yeah, I wanted that. Eric got to work, drew it up, and within the 30-minute time frame I waited, he had a lucky cat draft that I just couldn't say no to. I filled out the consent form and about 10 minutes later I was called to the back by Melissa who measured my existing piercings to mark them on my other ear. Very happy with her attention to detail. Everything seemed to be sanitized properly as well, at least to my untrained eyes. She went ahead with the lobe piercings after letting me see the spots she marked using a handheld mirror and they turned out great. I had the same experience with the septum as well. Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience here at Mint Condition and Melissa's work, and will always consider this place first when I'm ready to get my next piercings!

I walked in today to get a tattoo for my 26th Birthday, to not only celebrate but to cover up some scars that I have been very self conscious about. Not only did Oscar go above and beyond to make my tattoo perfect, he made me feel very comfortable through out the entire experience. The entire staff there is very personable and great! And Alex (the apprentice) was just amazing as well! It was an all around amazing and happy experience for me! I would definitely recommend this shop, and definitely recommend Oscar! He's great! Was nervous about this place the moment the smell of the doctors office hit my nose. But that's a good thing! Cleanliness in check! I brought in a pinstripe design to one of the artists named Eric. Came off as a chill guy, yet real attentive. Myself being a draftsman, I'm real picky about straight lines, so I was concerned about him being able to get the entire stretch straight an sharp. After about a half hour of preparing and carefully lining the design up, the digging began. Gotta say the end result is sharp enough to satisfy any perfectionist. Just got my 1st tattoo and I LOVE IT!!! Eric is awesome!! He was very cordial and listened to all of my ideas and came up with a beautiful drawing. I felt very comfortable talking to him. I came here on friday the 13th and I loved it. I went in for a navel piercing & Alexx did it for me. She was super cool and very accommodating. She made me feel comfortable and talked me through everything to ease my nervousness. I would recommend going to her for your piercings! read more
