I can't understand the one star reviews for Alpha. After reaching out to three other businesses, only one of whom actually bothered to get back to me but didn't service LG washers, Eva got right back to me and had an estimate soon thereafter. She was very communicative, and accommodated my back and forth between states schedule with understanding. Dion was able to come the day I requested, and even came back on his day off (a Sunday!) with the seal I needed after discovering at my house that LG had originally sent the wrong one. "One less thing for you to worry about," he said. That's so nice to hear when few business owners really care about their customers' worries. I couldn't leave no stars so consider the one there a technical glitch. Repair man came very late, diagnosed the problem and charged me a service fee of $90. After two weeks of not getting a call back, I was told by the abrasive and nearly screeching voice that the part was d/c by The manufacturer. After investigating it myself, I fixed the appliance with a $9 part. So much for it being "Discontinued" by the Manufacturer. Repairman was abrasive when he attempted to repair the freezer in our beach house last August. He replaced a part, charged us close to $1000 and when we returned to the house this June (10 months later) we had the same leak. It is very easy to rate them high when things go right, but when they don't...Dion is indeed a nice guy. He replaced igniter in our dryer, for $176. towards the end of last summer. Since this is our beach house we rarely use dryer over the winter, and due to vacation, etc. we just used dryer today and same exact problem, most likely, same exact part. (Yes, I am aware the manufacture's warranty is only for 90 days.) I called to discuss this with the office, and was quickly dismissed as she kept repeating that 90 days was the limit. It wouldn't be as bad, but she kept talking over me, didn't want to hear anything. I wish people could do the right thing, I am not expecting free, but really I probably used the dryer, the most, 10 times since it was repaired. Even a suggestion to check it out and waive some charges would have helped. Maybe if she was more polite, and not so dismissive it would have a more pleasant experience. So, sure, excellent when all is right, but, look out if things go wrong...Plus a waste of money! read more
