So if you had an appointment for 2pm plan on getting called back at 3pm and then you won't even be seen for another 1-1/2 hours and that's just for X-rays. Then when you get X-rays they will keep you for another hour. The assistants will walk the hallways and treat you like you're a ghost. This place is horrible. You can tell the management has no experience with running things. Stay away! I got here at 1:30pm it's 4:45pm and my kids are still back there waiting to be seen. Even my oldest complained to staff and the staff gave her an attitude like we did something wrong. Like we're the ones who scheduled 50 people at 2pm!! This is the 2nd I came here early and left at almost closing time.

Ever. This office expected me to send my 5 year old son into an office with a man I have never met or even spoken to. I can understand after an INITIAL appointment, however, to enforce a policy where a child meets the medical provider prior to the parent even setting eyes on the person is not only unprofessional, it is unsafe. When I expressed concern with sending my 5 year old back into a place I have never even seen, I was told "oh well, all the parents here did that," Oh? Did they? COOL. It was a blessing to find this place! The staff is wonderful, kind, and efficient. All three of my boys love coming here. Dr. Reich is a sweetheart and great with the kids. My middle son has anxiety/OCD and sensory processing issues, so I was initially very concerned about how he would do. No issues whatsoever! He was at ease and so proud coming out of the office with his cavity-free sticker. What a relief!!! Also, the previous practice I sent my boys to (a well known local pediatric dental chain I will not mention by name here) was charging us bogus inflated prices left and right, and telling my kids they had at least 2-6 cavities every time we went in for a visit. You'll get none of that nonsense here! All three of my boys are cavity free and the prices are wonderful and honest. I cannot rave enough about this place. So I started going to Dr. Gera and even though I now live in South Philly, I still go to him. Dr. Gera is a gentle professional. You know that realization you get when you witness someone doing something exceptionally well? Like when you eat a one-of-a-kind meal from a talented chef, or look at an exceptional piece of art that seems simple. There's just something there that is above the ordinary. I view Dr. Gera's work in that way. Today I had to get bonding applied to two teeth. This involved mostly everything I don't like about dentists: needles and drills. But I experienced no pain or discomfort (a sign the doctor knew how to expertly apply the novocaine so that it numbed the entire area and not just the exact spot needing work), he told me what he was doing at each step, and he got right to work and finished quickly. If you're leery of dentists but realize you need to get that work done before your teeth fall out of your head, give Dr. Gera a try.

She tries to be professional but it comes off condescending, she should just keep things professional. Like the indoor outdoor voice saying she should really try that with her attitude. Depending on who and what your gender is will depend on her prompt response of your arrival along with a friendly hello. One of the main dentist is quite rude (he has dark hair). He tries to be professional but once again depends on who you are. They give out unnecessary prices especially if out of network and I was told this before going there and should have listened.
