He was very patient with him and left him incredibly cute and well groomed. My baby is a shitzu mix and very fluffy so that + bad behavior/ anxious temperament is not a good combo and I fully understand that. Whatever black magic that is, I can only recommend coming here to groom your dog. Of course, since we were here. We also gave Max a bath with some oatmeal shampoo for his dry skin. You really can't beat the great tubs and having all the soaps towels, etc., that you need available. We never use the dryer because by the time I'm done Max is already so traumatized and he dries pretty fast once we walk around the block a little bit. The pricing is also very reasonable. The bath and nail trim was only $28 for Max, who is about 78 pounds. I'm just giving you the weight because I know a lot of places charge by weight and that will give you an idea for your own doggie. Parking is a bit trickier now that they've put in the new bike pass, but we usually find the parking space around the corner pretty easily. Thank you Tony!

I had a very disappointing experience with Waggers. When I first called to make my appointment, I…read morespecifically explained that I have a 3-month-old puppy who has not yet received his rabies vaccine. I was told that this would not be a problem because they do not require puppies to have a rabies shot for grooming. When someone called later to confirm my appointment, I asked again to make sure. I clearly stated that this was my puppy's first grooming appointment and that he still had not received his rabies vaccine. Once again, I was assured that it was not an issue. However, when I arrived for the appointment, I was turned away because my puppy didn't have a rabies vaccination. This was incredibly frustrating because I had already made special arrangements at work, took my lunch break later than usual, and coordinated with my daughter to pick up the puppy after his appointment. If this is your policy, that's completely understandable--but I should have been told that from the beginning, especially after asking twice. Instead, I wasted my time, rearranged my day, and left feeling very disappointed. Better communication and consistency with customers would have prevented this entire situation.
