Had a couple of good orders through this website, then one day they fell off the map. I paid them $100 and they didn't send my products. I called, I wrote; they don't answer. I went to Facebook to write them there and discovered tons of other people that also say they have been charged but haven't received their products and can't get the company to respond to any form of correspondence. I believe this company is in trouble, otherwise they would have put people at ease and just said "wait a little bit...we're having a computer issue" etc. Instead, they choose to ignore everyone. I have filed complaints with the FTC, the FBI Internet division, my credit card company and am posting as much as I can to destroy their business if it isn't already destroyed. While people have been complaining on Facebook, the company still posts a silly pet picture almost daily! So they are able to see what people are posting. Frankly, I'm surprised they've left their Facebook page up for all of us to communicate to each other on. And feloniously, they are still taking orders on their doggiefood.com site! Hi, I was looking for cat food that was on back order in my local stores, I found it on Doggiefood.com to be still in stock. I placed order on 12/15/14 for $87.96, got confirmation, called them to make sure they have the product, got only recording, anyway decided to place another order for $101.94 to stock up on item. few days later I received e-mail stating product is on back order, so I asked for refund. after several e-mails I got refund for my second order on 12/30/14, but still till this day I am waiting for refund on my first order. I've read quite a few reviews about Doggiefood.com and I used to feel the same way. Their prices were great. The only item that we ever ordered was Missing Link. Well about a year ago there was a hiccup in the process and the shipment was horribly late. There were a couple of more times we ordered without a hitch since, except that we had a second late shipment. This latest screw up, of which there were misleading emails sent that only served to confuse. When confronted telephonically, they become argumentative and insulting. Telling me,"that this was the first and only time that this happened. Well I not only beg to differ, from my personal experince, but they should review the Golden Rule of Business, "The Customer is ALWAYS right." Guess they sort of lost touch of that concept. But I ordered my food 2 weeks ago and it still hasn't shipped. I have sent emails, left voice messages and tried their online messaging and I've gotten no response. Doggiefood.com is awesome! I have two dogs and after researching for a while for the best place to get my dogfood, I found this place. I order from them monthly and have never had an issue. The food is sent out the same day I order it and arrives via UPS in a few days. They are prompt and courteous too. I have actually had to email their customer service twice and they have (both times) responded immediately and resolved my issues to my satisfaction. Their prices are great and the awesome thing is free shipping over 49.99! So I never pay for shipping when ordering my dogfood monthly! LOVE IT! read more

Horrible, horrible service. After waiting 10 days after my order with no shipping confirmation, I called to cancel my order. They had no record of whether anything was shipped and then told me that, because my order was being shipped to a different address (my mother), that my order was potentially fraudulent and they needed to "investigate" before fulfilling it. My husband was upset at the cost of the order, so before I ever opened the box I contacted doggiefood.com to ask about their return policy. The response I received is listed below: You will be refunded what you paid for the product less a 15% restocking fee and less the actual fedex shipping charge to send the package to you. Please place a copy of this email in the package as authorization if you indeed send it back. I never saw this disclaimer on their website that there would be a 15% restocking fee if I returned any items. I read reviews and found out I'm not the only one that has been robbed by this company. I've opened a claim with PayPal and hopefully will get my money back. I run a small NH nonprofit charitable trust for animals and every month I order 5-6 bags of Taste of the Wild dog food from chewy.com. I received an email from doggiefood, com offering a $50.00 savings. Whenever I order from chewy, I always receive my order the next day via UPS, but never later than two days. I figured that would be the same timeframe from RI to NH, so on November 17th, I placed an order for 5 bags of Taste of the Wild. One bag arrived on the 21st, two on the 22nd, and today is December 3rd and I'm still waiting for the other two bags. I called FedEx and they told me I might see the remainder of my order on Friday - 18 days after I placed the order. I called Tony on Saturday regarding my concern about the other two bags and he said; " do you want the food or not?". Yes, I want the food, but not if it's going to take forever. Well, today, I called Tony and told him that I was going to refuse the remainder of the order because I ran out of dog food and had to go to the grain store to purchase it. He told me that if I refused the delivery, I would be charged roundtrip shipping from Texas plus a 15% restocking fee. This is unacceptable and I have no other recourse than to contact the RI Attorney General's Office - Consumer Affairs Division. I ordered a rare dog food over 3 weeks ago. Their website promises 1-3 day delivery, and same or next day shipment. I have emailed twice for help, as I needed this food for my dogs ASAP. But have got zero response despite receiving successful delivery report from my email provider. I also called but their voicemail is full. Now I'm totally out of food and had to spend hours driving to various stores looking for this particular type and brand of food. "I have been shopping for several years with doggiefood.com. spending around $500 per year. I have put up with their shipping mishaps (missing cases in orders,) because I would call and it would be rectified. This last time I was only missing one case of dog food, about $18.00 worth of merchandise. I spoke with someone I've never spoken with before, Chelsea. She seems to be the customer support rep now. In the past I had spoken to the owner and the owners son. Cheslea informed me that they ship their food from multiple locations and sometimes there are problems since they have no control over the shipping and packing. After about 2 weeks of sporadic conversation, she tells me that the weights of the boxes proves i got all my cases. Well i did not recieve all of my cases and i wouldn't make this up for i work 9-5 and it was inconvenient talking back and forth with her. Was with them for 1 year and for the last 6 months things have rapidly gone downhill. Delayed shipments, missed items, wrong items, horrible customer service. I'm still missing 2 items from an order placed over a month ago. Going back and forth with a Tony guy, to no avail. Ordered from another company several weeks ago and had the shipment in 3 days, complete, with stronger packaging that wasn't mangled upon arrival. I've ordered quite a bit from Doggiefood.com, since it has the lowest prices and offers free shipping and often discounts on top of that. But I have to say the customer service is among the worst out there. I've had problems with loooong (weeks) delays receiving my orders in the past, but Tony has always rectified them as soon as notified. With my recent order, the tracking information indicates that it was delivered but I never received it, even though I was home at the time. I explained to their customer service that I was now in a bind, since it was a holiday weekend, I don't drive, and am nearly out of cat food. The person I spoke with was condescending and spoke extra slowly, I suppose because he thought I was intellectually handicapped when I insisted that other vendors (like Amazon and Petfooddirect) would ship out a replacement pending resolution of the FedEx inquiry so that I, the customer, am not punished, but he couldn't care less and helpfully suggested that I pay for another order if I wanted to receive the food more quickly! Petfooddirect is more expensive, but I have not had issues like this with them, and they ship out orders more quickly and reliably, so I think it's time to take my business elsewhere. read more

Please see my review of Doggiefood.com below: I just wanted you all to beware of doggiefood.com and that I no longer recommend it as a company to get your cat and dog food from. You ask why? I do not recommend them for the fact that they do not stand behind the food they sale. On Sept 5, 2015, I ordered 9 each of the 15.4 bags of EVO Turkey and Chicken Cat and Kitten dry food. One bag had a shorter expiration date than the others did. I opened that bag this week to start using it and found that it was 50% broken down kibble dust. My call to the Customer Service Department at Doggiefood.com was not pleasant due to the fact that they would not stand behind the product they sold me. The man I spoke to on the other end was, in my opinion, belligerent to me. He even at one point said we had a mutual beneficial relationship since I got 25% off on their sale. Unbelievable. All I was asking for was a replacement bag for the defective bag since my cats are refusing to eat the dust. I would not eat the dust if I was a cat. The Customer Service Rep was not willing to replace the bag themselves even though I bought it from them. He said he wanted pictures of the product and product code and then he would go higher up at Doggiefood and then talk to EVO. I didn't have a problem with sending the pictures. I had a problem with the attitude and poor Customer Service. From my understanding, if anywhere along the line at Doggiefood.com or EVO, someone said "no" to replacing my bag, I would not be getting a replacement bag for the defective bag. Now, how is that for Customer Service. Any way, buyer beware. Never again. I should have written this company off months ago. When my cat passed away suddenly, I wanted to return the extra cases of food I ordered. I couldn't get a response to emails or phone messages. Finally I got a human on the phone (the owner) and he wanted to charge me a restocking fee rather than be somewhat courteous and compassionate. When I complained to him about the lack of response to my communications, he reminded me over and over again that "it's a family business" as if that gives them license to have poor service. Finally he agreed to waive the restocking fee and I shipped the food back. Here is a secret...or not so much a secret...he gets refunded by the manufacturer either way, whether I send the food back or not, so this is just doggiefood.com being a stickler and clinging to their cash flow. So me, not having learned my lesson, still ordered from them on occasion since adopting two (fussy) kitties. Well recently, my girls went on strike and left my holding the bag on four nearly full cases of canned food (four varieties). This is from a brand that has a 100% satisfaction that your cats will love their food. Well after a week of trying to contact them, and listening to the very long recording that someone else mentioned in a post, Bridget emailed me saying something to the effect of"nope we don't take back partial cases (even tho their site says 100% satisfaction...but feel free to try to bring them into a local place that may sell that brand, maybe they will give you something for it". I called the manufacturer and they verified to me that returning the food is not necessary on the part of the seller for them to get refund. Again, this is just doggiefood.com working against their customers and not with them. They need to learn that a bit of niceness goes a long way. the worst! i have been a doggiefood.com customer for many years. i have told many people about the wonderful service and great prices but now it seems things have changed. when i called for help i received a message saying that the company is growing so quickly but not to worry because they're hiring people to help with the demand and that the best way to get help was to send an email. well i sent an email because i wanted to change my delivery address. bridget henry sent a quick email saying that it wasn't a problem because the Dandy Lamb i ordered was on back order. it didn't say that when i ordered it but ok. i wrote again on 1/20 to see when the food would be in, i didn't get an answer so wrote back on the 23. i explained that my dog had allergies and if the food was going to be delayed longer it would be ok but i would buy some locally. I ordered a product from Doggiefood.com on a Thursday and paid for the express saver shipping. Not realizing that FedEx recognized Friday as a holiday for the 4th of July my order was not sent out until Tuesday the 7th! I placed my order July 2. I called on Monday spoke with a rude boy who advised me that fedex was closed on Friday and I would have a tracking number by tuesday. I received it Tuesday and tracked it. It was delivered today in Chicago IL! I was frantic when I saw this because I ordered something herbal for my Min Pin with chronic UTIs that this stuff was highly recommended to help! When I called again today I spoke with another rude boy who told me there was a problem with the FedEx tracking and said my order was set to be delivered on July 11. I asked for a supervisor was told to call back and I would get Tony's voice mail. I called he answered and instead of being apologetic I was told that I should have I KNOWN fed ex was closed Friday WTH??? As a business owner he was unprofessional and rude. I am frustrated as a pet owner because they couldn't even take the time to email me a correct tracking number! I had to see from fed ex it was delivered to someone else. Although it wasn't, that is what I was thinking and was angry. I would NEVER recommend this "company" to anyone! Doggiefood.com offers a very low level of customer service. I ordered a case of dog food from them on 10/11 for a dog that then passed away on 10/13. The online system said my order was "still processing", so I contacted them via online chat to cancel the order. She informed me that the order had "already shipped". I received a shipping notification on 10/14; today responded to it saying I would refuse the order. Someone named Chelsea sent me an email saying she had called me several times and did not get an answer or a machine. She is lying - she called me once (I have called id and Verizon voicemail) and did not leave a message. She has threatened me by saying that if I refuse the order they will deduct an unspecified amount of shipping charges from my refund. This is not the first time I've had trouble with them. I gave them one more chance but this it the last they will get from me. Chewy.com is the best out there - go to them! Also, go to the Better Business Bureau and post a review there. You will see there have been numerous complaints filed about customer service and 9 negative reviews. read more
