Wayne, the husband, was very nice and was very easy to work with. The woman who answered the phone, who I can only assume is Pam, wasn't quite as friendly as her partner. She never said anything exactly inappropriate but she was a little short and her tone just didn't seem interested. The way she talked to me over the phone wasn't exactly rude but more borderline than I'd prefer, I guess. I had also specifically stated in my email when sending the attachments to be printed that I wanted them to call me when the prints were ready. I manage/work in a salon so I'm not accustomed to checking my email multiple times a day. Finally, about a week after I sent the attachments, I checked my email and lo and behold, they had replied to my email to inform me the prints were ready. They'd just been sitting there for three or four days. Secondly, I ordered 1000 business cards and only received about 700 when I first came to pick them up. Wayne did apologize and was super courteous about printing the remainder of my order and threw in 300 cards on top of the thousand. Again, all my interactions with him were generally professional and pleasant. And ordinarily I wouldn't have held the slip-up against them, especially because he did try to compensate by giving me more than my order. But having to come back multiple times just kind of left me with the feeling that this business may not be one I want to have an ongoing relationship with. So there you have it. Taken on their own, Pam's indifference and the not calling when requested and the shorting of prints wouldn't have been enough to dissuade me from liking this business. But when you get little red flags like this the first time you work with someone, it makes you think twice about doing it again. Listen. I'm not going to act like my salon is constantly in need of massive quantities of printed materials. But since I ordered business cards with Alpha and Omega, I have needed a couple other jobs. But I didn't go to them even though they were the first place I tried in the area. All in all, Wayne seems like a really nice man but my personal experience with his business left a little to be desired. read more

When you give a business 5 starts, Yelp says "Woohoo! As good as it gets!" That was really my experience working with Allegra. I do some volunteer work for a non-profit, and got assigned to pulling a booklet together for an event we are holding and, of course, this was a last minute thought. I was referred to Allegra by a friend, and I'm sure glad I was. Frances and Wayne got me connected with Darren, their designer. As I knew little to nothing about the printing business, Darren worked closely with me and soon he had developed an outstanding layout. The booklets are being printed now and I know from the proofs that they're going to be great. I'll update this review later when I get everyone's reaction to the booklet. My reaction was: "Oh, Wow!". Eehhh am pretty confused about this place. I called yesterday and was quoted 60 cents for 11x17 color print. Called again today to make sure, and was told that wasn't the right price at all. The person seemed kind of annoyed with my call, too. I hung up before finding out what the real price was, because I assumed I'd gotten the printing places confused, but I know now that I didn't. You can take my review with a grain of salt. I won't actually be going here, so I can't comment on their actual services. read more

After Kinko's screwed up our postcards for a conference in town, Alpha Omega and Wayne were incredibly friendly and responsive in getting us new ones printed in just a few hours. We worked with Wayne the the most, but Pam keep the project in line and on task. Everyone we dealt with on the phone was so nice and accommodating. I just had 1000 business cards designed and printed by this company. Darren worked with me for weeks because I didn't know what I wanted to put on the card. He made at least 8 changes and did each one very quickly. I asked for an estimate and was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable price. I am in charge of marketing for a small law firm and wanted to update the look of our stationary, business cards, etc. Didn't know what I wanted exactly, but something sharper and more modern than what we'd used for 25 years. I went out to talk with Wayne, who listened carefully, gave me some suggestions and then said he'd turn it over to his designer, Darren. Darren got back to me with some suggestions in a couple of days and we fine-tuned them together until we had just the right look. Printing was relatively fast and the prices quite reasonable. Contradictory to all the good reviews here, I do have a different opinion. As a matter of fact, I wanted to use their service because of the good reviews. However it turned out to be the worst experience ever. I tried to do direct mailing for my office. Thursday of last week I was there to ask a quota. Wayne said he could give me that as soon as Friday and he would talk to his wife for the listing of residents we are asking for. Until Wednesday of this week, no response from them. Called them and surprised enough very rude on the phone. I believed his wife answered the phone. She did not even let me finished what I was asking and yelling at me "I have a hard time to understand you". It seemed I just bothered them. What kind of service is this? What is wrong with me to even try this store? Do not understand why yelp filtered my review? If you see this review, I strongly suggest not to use their service. There are others who provide much better service around Dublin and Pleasanton. read more
