Really disappointed with the result that we received from this company. An employee suggested that I use a new company to print our shirts. I was happy with the former company, but the employee has a family member who works there so I decided to listen and help out my employee's family. BYOG suggested a new fabric blend from the same manufacture that we had ordered from in the past. They provided us a sample of the sports grey shirt that we have always ordered in the past with the new shirt blend. We approved the order based on the artwork and sample shirt. Well, the order came and the shirts were a completely different color, the logo was the correct color. Owner said that she would run the shirts again at 50% discount with the right color shirts. We received the second order and this time the shirt was the right color, but the green on our logo was a different color green. The owner called me to tell me that a different color shirt changes the color of the ink due to the background. WTF? you are telling me something is black when it is white? Well I know that is not true since we have the exact same color shirts from the same Gildan manufacture, made by a vender, Carleen's T-shirt Corner in San Leandro for 27 years and the color is spot on. The owner expects full payment for the second order and you know what, I will do it, even though I was given a B.S. excuse that I know is not right, you know what? I vote with my dollars and we will never come back again. It is too bad that Cathileen was not willing to own up to the mistakes that her company made the second time around. Now we have 148 shirts on hand and none of them are the right color. I would caution anyone doing business with this company to get a full sample first, even of the screen printing before approving the job. Now I will wait to see the owners response apologizing, trying to say that they did nothing wrong! read more

It was a relief because I called a soccer shop and their turnaround time was 1.5 weeks out. Due to circumstances at my daughter's high school, we had to add the numbers at the last minute! I arrived at 4:15PM (45 minutes before they close) and was greeted with Cathileen. She found the numbers but they came in 1 size and I needed 2 difference sizes. She said she will try to cut a set of smaller numbers if she has time but no promise. I came to pick up the jersey at Noon the next day and jersey had 2 sizes numbers on it! I loath writing negative reviews and frankly, I was excited to support a female led business for embroidering company jackets thinking this could be the start of a long-term relationship with this business. This review is focused on the facts of what happened in our experience working with them. Their prices seemed fair and they were initially responsive. They offered to pick up the jackets at my colleague's house in Pleasanton since we're located in Mountain View and they are located in Dublin. That's when everything went downhill. We found it frustrating that we were told the project would take 7-10 days, yet we didn't hear from them once we delivered the jackets (and the project hadn't been started once we reached nearly three weeks later after complete radiosilence from them). We found ourselves really wondering how long it would have taken for them to start working on them if we hadn't asked for a status update. They also just don't seem detail oriented (see what happened below), so if you use them, micro-manage and confirm EVERYTHING. They messed up the order as our request was for silver/grey threading, and we got white threading instead. They sent us a picture as proof-of-concept, but looking back at the picture it's difficult to tell exactly what the color was. We also requested that the logo be on the upper sleeve of the jackets rather than the front pocket area. Again, this was all in writing in our request. When we provided feedback, their response was disappointing with unsatisfactory excuses, simply saying they had some people with the flu and that they are usually meet timelines and some lame excuse trying to say they followed instructions from a phone conversation which would have said EXACTLY what we requested in writing - didn't feel like an apology and they provided nothing to remedy the situation in any way (e.g. slight discount?) . The final product, even though the embroidery was in the wrong place, was good. Maybe we caught them in a bad part of the year but if you are going to use them, micro-manage and confirm specs MULTIPLE times so they get your order right and keep them on timelines - they are clearly not detail oriented and professional in their dealings (even their invoice had a bunch of errors ). Sadly, I will not use them in the future. read more

I'm sad I didn't find this business a lot sooner. A good friend of mine referred me to this company to order gear for my school (UC Berkeley). I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism the employees exuded. Not only that, I was able to order gear and have it in hand within 3 weeks. Every other company will tell you 4-6 weeks because they usually send it to China. Everything is pressed at their facilities in Dublin. They were willing to work with our student org as we had time constraints. Cathileen created an online store for us where our members were able to order the shirts and pay themselves. I have consistently had a bad experience with this company. I get a lot of clothing screen printed for my gym and cheer teams and every time I deal with them it is a hassle. Minimums are too high as an average team only has between 10-15 members. In addition to that the last 2 orders I placed had to be delivered the morning of my event which is stressful when dealing with teenage girls. Will not be returning as we have found a company that waives minimums for teams and even donated the shirts (we paid for the screen printing) in support of our team attending nationals. read more

I ordered 15 shirts for a food festival that we were participating in and due to late notice from the vendor, we gave late notice to BYOG about the shirts. They had a 2 day turnaround and had all of the shirts ready to go even though I gave them last minute notice. But then due to business constraints I wasn't able to pick the shirts up on Friday and had to come on saturday, at which point I learned they were closed on weekends! I panicked, thinking we would lose out on this festival because they require official uniforms and now I have no shirts! I called Cathileen and she promptly said not to worry and that they would have someone local bring the shirts out to the front of the store for me to pick up. Within 15 minutes of that call I had the shirts in my hands and the festival was saved.
