But since we have come to Mathnesium she has been progressing really well in her math. She was assessed 3rd grade but she had already moved up to 4th grade math. She has also built interest in the subject and excited to come for her classes. Grace, Lexie and Josh are very accommodating with classes. Attending classes have changed to drop in system which makes it much more convenient . This way you don't have the stress of being early or late. They manage to have the perfect number of students for each teacher so they can give enough care and attention to each student. Never mind the fact that I was not insisting on masks and merely answered a question about what would be ideal. Not to mention, I didn't mean that this should be a year round policy--only if and when necessary. They didn't even ask if I had questions that might address any concerns, or if I would even like to tour the school and learn about the program. In my opinion, this is unprofessional. We had planned to start in the Fall but decided to put them in the Brain Boosting Summer Camp as well. My kids are so happy here! Dr. M is so warm and caring, and I have full trust that my children are in a nurturing, enriching environment at Heritage. As an aside, with COVID-19 rampant throughout the world right now, it was such a difficult decision to choose in-person school or try online. But I can unequivocally say that I do not think there is another school that would have a better balance between letting kids learn and play with their peers but also keeping them safe, than Heritage. Having Dr. M, who is the director of the school but also is an MD, and the rest of the staff putting in so much thoughtfulness and consideration to keeping the staff and kids safe helps put my mama heart at ease. The campus is beautiful! It may look small from the street but the playground area is quite large and the classrooms are nice and large for the kids to have space to move around (or physical distance as needed). Everything about the campus feels warm and safe..exactly what I want to help cultivate the environment that gives my kids the freedom, safety, inspiration and confidence to learn and grow. My kids are thriving there and I can't recommend it high enough!

Their staff is amazing Miss Jutta and Miss Baja were so patient with him because he used to cry when it was time to go into school. They calmed my mind and assured me that this was a normal part of the transition and sure enough he quickly began walking into school without tears. Ms Jennifer is always sending me pictures and I love that! I also love that they take temperatures at the door every morning and I have no idea how they get Onyx to wear his mask but every day he comes out with it on! They are child whisperers :) I couldn't have chosen a better school to help develop our Onyx!
