We hired Oregon Restoration for an insurance-funded residential repair project, and the process was plagued by prolonged delays, billing disputes, and repeated attempts to charge for work that was never performed. We waited months for any meaningful progress while living in an extended-stay hotel. Throughout the project, we were forced to reconcile invoices against the insurer's estimate ourselves, repeatedly pushing back on charges that exceeded or fell outside the approved scope. Subcontractor coordination was extremely poor - we spent months dealing with a flooring company they work closely with, only to find that when costs exceeded the claim budget, Oregon Restoration made no effort to identify a more affordable or appropriate alternative. Ultimately, we had to step in and manage that ourselves. By that point, we had already paid a $50,000 deposit, which made it difficult to walk away due to concerns about recovering those funds. Despite multiple attempts to resolve issues cooperatively, closing out the project required countless emails and phone calls. This experience was far more time-consuming and stressful than it should have been. I sincerely regret choosing Oregon Restoration. Their claim that they "do things differently" is a justification for inflating costs and maximizing their profit, rather than providing transparent or customer-focused service.

It was originally aggregate, but had cracked and worn away in several places. The driveway was a bit steep making it worse, so sometimes our car would scrape along the bottom. We finally decided to tear it all out and install a new one. Mr Gutierrez came out for the estimate which was very reasonable compared to the others. He even included a free sealant. This company somehow managed to make my home worse than it was to begin with. It looked like a Frankenstein project where they took pieces of carpet from different sources that they just had left over from other projects and there were seems everywhere with different carpets. The carpet also covered over the closet rails so they just swung. There were nails and objects under the carpet that you could feel as you walked. There was paint literally on EVERYTHING, floors, glass, mirrors, counter tops. The paint they used on the entire home, excluding the ceilings as they didn't paint that, was sprayed on and it peeled off! I literally mean it peeled off. All doors that they painted for $75 a piece, all peeled off. Not to mention the walls that were painted splashed all over the ceiling which was not the same color which is crazy because they used a blue tape along the edges. How do I know they used a blue tape on the edges? Because it was left on some of the high ceilings. Electrical sockets were missing, some screws for them were replaced with rusted ones. Those are nothing compared to them leaving the gas stove on AND a gas can was literally just sitting in my kitchen on the ground. That is what I found when I went to check up on the place. I sent them photos of everything and they said they would come back and fix it. Why I did this? Because I assumed the manager didn't know what their crew had done or something and my realtor stated to send them photos let them fix it before hiring another crew. I sent the photos and even with those it was not fixed. The carpet had less seems, and was at least all the same color and the closet rails had been uncovered. Some of the paint was cleaned off of some surfaces and that's it. They even asked to come out a third time to fix it again. NOT A CHANCE.
