Though there were some bumps along the way involving scheduling (which they advised us of which in advance) they came on the set day and did a great job. They listened to my wife and modified what they were doing, and after the work was done they cleaned everything up. My son loved watching them through the windows. Sadly, National Grid came less than a week later and removed a bunch of tree stuff that apparently was in danger of damaging their telephone wires. So, it is hard at this point to fully judge what Davey did because NG put their own mark on the trees. But, we are happy with the results.

Then the owner of "On a limb," didn't like my response, so the "holier than thou" person just drove off. Apparently his discussion about not wanting to damage my lawn by parking on the street, made during the estimate process, was meaningless. Since I was home, the least consideration he could have performed would have been to knock on my door and ask. I would avoid this tree service. Not only was he days late but he never contacted me to let me know he wasn't coming as promised the first time. I had to chase after him to get any info regarding a date. Obviously he doesn't write things down and depends on strictly memory, or he simply doesn't care.

Their fancy million dollar crane also crushed my sidewalk like a potato chip, and I have to call the Town of Queensbury to try to get that repaired. They put down rubber mats, but they are not sufficient -- they may as well have put down Saran-wrap. Great tree removal, but a lot of unnecessary "collateral damage, " and they don't care.
