She is suffering a serious spontaneous brain bleed. A neighbor recommended I call this practice and ask to have it filled through their dispensary or for guidance on where to purchase it. The woman who answered the phone said I would have to make an appointment first. Okay. I understand. It would be easy to coordinate with my vet if they do not want to sell directly to me. But clearly they don't work with other practices. However, even if I had the money to spend (in addition to thousands spent this week on an MRI and emergency care), I don't have time to wait on an appointment. I also live an hour away and don't want to put her through the stress of another car trip. But then I asked for suggestions on other outlets since I was having difficulty finding it online. One would think this practice would be expert on sourcing alternative medicine in the DVM or online and happy to give guidance when they are unable to help. One would think a receptionist would take a message and pass it to one of the nursing assistants or vets. Nope. She literally told me to google it. Legitimate businesses are often happy to offer some guidance in a serious situation when they are unable or unwilling to directly provide a service or product. That is, unless money is their only concern.

When we had our initial consultation, it was definitely an elongated process; I really believed that there could have been more listening, as we felt that we were sitting in a lecture. With herbals, it's a trial-and-error type of situation, in which the combinations administered can constantly change, based on the response. Unfortunately, we felt that the medicine did not have any positive impact, and the follow-ups felt rushed and confusing. I think this place seems to be more for fur babies who are already in good health and whose owners want to explore additional services, just for the sake of it. It's nice to see other clients have had more positive experiences, but ours was super disappointing. Plenty of parking available. +plenty of parking available

She had either large cell lymphoma or carcinoma (was inconclusive) but either way it was really bad at the end. Dr. Beth has the knowledge to help you understand what is happening, the compassion to guide you through it, and the kindness to come out to our place at some inconvenience to herself (last minute, outside regular hours, etc). I loved that she gave us special family time with our girl as we went through the steps of the at home euthanasia. I loved that she said some words of gratitude for her as she passed, almost like a mini memorial service. It was painful, it is painful, but I don't think I could have asked for a better person to lead us through an extremely difficult decision. I see sad photos of animals here. I choose to remember my kitty when she was at her happiest, and that's the photo I'm sharing here.

Turns out he has a luxating patella in one knee and severe arthritis in the other hip. He was prescribed pain medication, and we were given the suggestion of acupuncture. As frequent rides in the car would be stressful to a cat who complains from the moment he is put in the carrier we decided to find someone who could give acupuncture in our home. Dr. Gerth and Critterfixer's Mobile Veterinary Care came highly recommended by our regular veterinarian. Over the year Dr. Gerth has given us suggestions on ways to make it easier for our cat to get around the house - from adding carpet pads to the hardwood staircase to physical therapy which he now receives as well. In everything she has offered insight into his many conditions beyond the arthritis she is treating him for. Her knowledge and care have been invaluable. My cat used to run and hide when anyone came to the house. He does not shy away from Dr. Gerth. He seems completely comfortable with her and almost curls up to take a nap while receiving acupuncture. Dr. Gerth is wonderful, I highly recommend her.

It would be more efficient if the availability is provided instead of having to sit around waiting for a response.
