I can't say enough about this branch of Encore Rehab and the great people that work so hard to…read moreprovide exceptional physical therapy for their patients. My favorite is Kari. She is wonderful, and always a joy to see and work with toward my individual goals for recovery or pain relief. I first met her when a doctor recommended PT to address lower back pains that had developed as a result of an on-going illness I live with. At the time she was at the Providence Hospital office, and from the first day evaluation, through six weeks of the personalized therapy program she developed for me, I found that her vibrant, happy character was as least as beneficial for my recovery as the exercises she put me through each session. Later, when I developed yet another issue that my doctor prescribed PT to address, and I learned that she had been assigned to the Snow Rd office, I insisted that my prescription be sent to that office, with directions for her personally to receive the assignment. And she didn't disappoint me that time either. In all, over at least a two year period, I have had to seek PT assistance for help in dealing with issues that have developed because of my illness, no less than four times. Kari has never let me down, and I actually look forward to my sessions with her, even when she is tough on me, pressing me to do more. Another therapist at this office is Jack. I have had to work with him a few times when Kari was just too busy to provide the attention I required. He too provides exceptional service. He makes everyone feel like a friend, and he is always in a cheerful and friendly mood. There are several other PTs at this office, and each appear to be friendly, helpful and kind. At least two of them are Occupational Therapists, assisting patients with rehab required because of work related injuries. Last but not least is Rachel, the front desk clerk, always greeting patients by name and with a smile. She never fails to hold the big entry doors open for me after I have finished my sessions, and I am leaving to head home. She is another kind, and sweet soul, but this business has been blessed with many sweet souls as employees. So, at the risk of making them all more well known, and thus building their business to such a degree that I find it difficult in the future to get an appointment there, I highly recommend this office of Encore Rehab.

If you ask the people at the desk, they just instruct you to check in on the kiosk into which you are to enter in your insurance and social security number along with scanning your insurance cards and drivers license. On one hand I like that other people aren't handling your information, on the other it's very impersonal and the people at the desk seem like they don't want to be bothered (due to the eye roll) and I should've obviously seen and known that I'm supposed use the kiosk to check in. Then you have to read the signs to determine which side of waiting room to sit on for which ever doctor you are to see. The X-ray tech was very nice, fast and professional. The physical therapy staff are all very sweet and professional. The Doctor was excellent and I am very impressed with the efficiency of the office overall. Highly recommend.

I booked a couples massage by phone on Thursday, 7/16, for Saturday, 7/18, and provided my credit card information to hold the appointment. Mark, who I later learned is the owner's husband, was helpful on the phone and asked us to arrive 20 minutes early for paperwork. When we arrived early as requested, we were told there was no appointment written down and no rooms available. The lady at the front desk called the owner and then simply told us Mark had not written it down and they were sorry for the inconvenience. What frustrated us most was that no one made any effort to fix the situation. No offer to reschedule, no attempt to find another option, and no remedy of any kind. It basically felt like, "We messed up, sorry, have a good day." Extremely Poor Customer Service and Problem Resolution. Mistakes happen, but when a business takes credit card information to hold an appointment, that appointment should be honored--or at the very least, the business should make a real effort to make it right if there is an option available. Unfortunately, none of that happened here. As they say, "You never get a second chance to make a first impression", and I have to say this this one was about as poor as it gets.
