When I went in all I wanted was information. JUST information. But the staff made it IMPOSSIBLE! I think it was just a VERY poor communication issue. But they turned rude and I just walked out. It felt like they were trying to sell me something and tell me they didn't have the thing I was looking for. I was really confused. I asked if they had some sort of book binding service for a smaller book and they said they did but proceeded to put a large spiral bound manuscript on the counter. I tried to explain what I wanted and they didn't say no but kept presenting me with the wrong thing. They got impatient and snippy. So I walked out, feeling pretty anxious about that weird encounter. New to town and needed 2 pages printed off a usb. When I tried the self-serve printer it couldn't get down to the doc level off the drive, so the lady said she would print it for me. Two pages = $5.00! ! not the .26 cents elsewhere. They could at least tell you their crazy price beforehand. Welcome to alphagraphics Wheaton. read more

I have worked with Alpha Graphics for years for work and personal, and have always had a great experience. When I received my quote for my print job yesterday, the email included their explanation on how they had social distancing guidelines and acrylic dividers for COVID safety. When I arrived, however, I was taken care of by an older lady who was not wearing a mask. When I commented on how I was standing back for safety, she said "don't worry, I'm not that way." Later in the transaction, I said that as a customer, I would feel much more comfortable with her wearing a mask, she ignored me and continued the transaction. I am very unhappy and will be calling to register my complaint. If she is the one making the safety decisions, then I guess I will be done working with AlphaGraphics Wheaton. read more

I rarely give bad reviews...if you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all right? In this case no. This place is a joke. A waste of time. I gave them 2 chances because I believe in giving people chances. I usually go to the Alpha Graphics in Lisle (separate review), however the wheaton location is closer so I thought I would give them a try for convenience. Sadly it was not!! The first time I inquirer about EDM orders, it took a week to go back and forth and pick routes and get a quote. Then the person helping me just fell off the face of the internet and never emailed me back or followed up. I got busy and decided to do the EDM some other time. So flash forward 6 months later I decided its time and gave them another chance. I called and at first the same lady I believe that helped me the first time, name Christine; she seemed helpful when she answered the phone. She took some information, did get back through email but took another 2 days to tell me it'll take her another day to figure it out and get back. When the next day came and I haven't heard from her I contacted Alpha graphics in Lisle to set everything with them. The process from the first call to putting down a deposit for the job was 4-5 days. And i still have not heard back from Christine in Wheaton and it's already been almost 2 weeks. Waste of time. Doesn't follow up, don't care about your business!!! read more

I've had good luck and good service from Alphagraphics. I've been using them for years for copying and printing. They're attentive, they're prompt, they're very helpful. They've really won over my business. In most copying stores when you bring in a small job the staff will direct you to a self-serve copying machine, bristling with buttons, with a go-do-it-yourself smirk on their lips. Conversely, the staff at Alphagraphics is most accommodating and will give you direct assistance in making any number of copies you need. I am a playwright and I frequently bring in 100-page scripts for be copied six to ten times. Alphagrapics shared with me an email address where I can electronically send them a Word file of my script with copy specs. They'll have ready within 24hrs at a competitive price. I know of no other print shop in the area that provides a service like this. So, as you can see, I'm pretty high on Alphagraphics. They're conveniently located but admittedly they should have longer hours. It's worth giving them a try. read more

Went back in to pick up my order on Friday (a week and a half for a simple print job-no thanks). The lady was apologetic, but offered a whole bunch of excuses for why things took so long. It sounds like their system isn't set up well for the digital age- they can't use the same computer to format and manage the order, so things take forever. I didn't receive any discounts for my hassle, and I won't be back. Took my next order to the Copy Center at Wheaton College and had my order turned around in 4 hours (same quantity, color ink, nicer paper.) I'll go there instead. read more

Alphapraphics in downtown Wheaton lost our original art work that we brought in for wedding invitations. Very disappointing and they never apologized. It also took longer than we were told. I can't believe they could be so careless with original art work. We were planning on framing it and giving it to our daughter as a gift on her first anniversary. I would not recommend using them for your printing needs read more

On Friday April 28th, at 7:00 a.m. I sent a file of blueprints to Alpha Graphics to be quoted. By 10:00 that morning I had no response. I called the store and spoke with a man who stated the file was never received. After describing to him the job order of a 53 page set of blueprints printed he quoted me a price of $ 8.00 a sheet !!!! I told him this price was more than double of the quote I received from Staples. His comment to me was, and I quote, " well I guess today is Staples lucky day !!! ". Needless to say, I took my business elsewhere. This will be the last time I contact this company for a quote for any printing. Sidenote: Quality Blue Printing in Bolingbrook printed this order for under $125.00 DELIVERED that very afternoon!!! read more
