He replaced it with a new top of the line Lenovo with windows 11, a built in webcam, etc. He loaded Windows 11, reconfigures the three monitor setup. He cheked it all out to ensure everything was working perfectly. We said goodbye and he went his way. Then...the next day he sent me an eMail just to confirm that everything was still working 100%--(which is was, and still is). After about 5 years of living in a Lennar-built "smart house", I was finally done with what they…read moredid to make it start. I learned that my internet comes in from the outside, to my router, to a switch, and then to the access points throughout the house. This is the setup for businesses, colleges, etc, and not really for the home users (which must be why Lennar changed to a different setup now). For the most part, it would work seamlessly, however, once every few months, something would go wrong and it would take me a day or two (of luck) to get it running away. I was sick of it and wanted a system more like a home user even if that meant a downgrade with how it worked. I contacted My Computer Guy for an SOS, and he replied immediately. He asked for more details about what I could let me know and we made an appointment a few days later due to my schedule. On the day of, My Computer Guy showed up and was very polite, proper, and professional. Also, ironically, my internet/wifi died after our initial conversation. If Tom had one goal, it was to, at least, get my wifi back. Happy wifi, happy wife, and then I have a happy life. We both headed to the basement so he could troubleshoot the issues. To me, it was just a bunch of wires connecting somewhere, someplace. He figured it out right away and started to troubleshoot the system. He would share some tips to improve my wifi/internet. After about 30 minutes, give or take, he found the problem, fixed the problem, and helped me install a normal user-friendly wifi system. Also, he gave me some recommendations to improve the overall system and helped me set it up. Overall, I would rate this business an A+. Friendly, professional, prompt, and very knowledgeable. Will continue to contact in the future for other IT-related issues and more.
