Because after 5 calls to other different places, Mike answered quickly and said he will be in 40 minutes, driving from Arlington Height to Glencoe! When he came, he looked very intelligent and put cover ups on his shoes to protect floor in our house from outside dust. He explained why it is better to repair our TV instead of buying a new one. With replaced parts and his service it cost $300, and to buy a new TV it would cost more than $700. He will tell you upfront how much it cost and it's up to you if you would like to buy or repair your existing TV, save money, do not through away your TV, go more sustainable and keep our planet more green! We have an older Panasonic plasma tv. They don't make plasma televisions anymore and we have loved its picture quality, especially from the sides. No degradation of picture quality from any angle. It's died and we were able to take it to the dump but decided to call Alphanet TV. He actually made it as good as new which required him to replace a part by remaking it because it is no longer available. Our three year old Sony Bravia TV failed to power up a week ago. It was way out of warrantee so I checked on a few local TV repair firms and decided to call Alphanet TV.
