Alpine market place is a good place to shop as their prices are good. If you have the hungers for a sandwich or sub the big gamer is a good option. Made fresh and ready when you want it. I recently visited Alpine Marketplace and unfortunately had one of the most frustrating shopping experiences I've had in a long time. The store itself seemed organized and clean; however, what made the experience unpleasant was the interaction with a woman who claimed to be the store's regional manager Laurel. When I approached them to ask about product availability, I was met with an attitude that felt dismissive and uninterested. Instead of offering help or even a quick explanation, Laurel seemed irritated by my questions and gave short, unhelpful responses. It left the impression that customer concerns weren't important. While I understand that stores can have busy days and shortages, the lack of professionalism and courtesy from leadership is what ultimately pushed me to leave without completing my shopping. A manager sets the tone for the whole store, and in this case, the tone wasn't welcoming or supportive. I hope the store takes steps to improve customer service and organization, because right now it falls far below reasonable expectations. read more

Great small market in Linden, MI. Their deli and fresh produce is high quality. The deli also has warm prepared foods. The fried chicken on offer is DELICIOUS!!! I lived in the South for 10 years...the Alpine market chicken rivals the best from down South. They also have side dishes and fish and ribs prepared. Great place to grab a lunch or dinner. The store is not large like a Publix or Target and their prices run a bit high but definitely WORTH a stop for foodstuffs you may need. read more

I lived in Linden for the past seventeen years. I usually shop at VG's or Myers . I only need a few things so I went to Alpine to pick up four items. Those four items were close to $4.00 more then I pay for at Vg's and even less at Myers. I was shocked so I checked out the cost of other items I usually buy. Alpine Marketplace is the local Spartan store in Linden, Mi. I have been a customer for 30 years. Since changing ownership the quality and selection of products has improved. The produce is fresh, the locally sourced items, for eg La Michoana taco chips are quite tasty and a welcome addition as they are the most authentic tasting taco chips in state. I also know that the management will work with you to bring in specialty items, and they support the local community. I will return and recommend this establishment! Very nice people in the Deli and they are always busy, but trying to get hot food after 5:00 is almost always a disappointment. Especially fried chicken, side dishes, and forget about fried fish on Friday, they won't even take an order for a later pick up. read more

I want to say what an experience I had at the Alpine deli! I asked for a manager and one came up and introduced herself as Jamie and asked how she could help me. She answered all my questions about the meat and cheese and what I am able to eat since I'm pregnant, she told me what was in the salads and how they were made. I was impressed with how clean the deli was and the case. Well worth the drive from Fenton. Thank you Jamie and I will see you again! read more

Lucky to have a great little grocery store in my town. The staff are friendly, the lines are reasonable and they offer plenty of sales, digital coupons and a reward program to help keep my grocery bill down. They seems to be constantly updating the store and systems to provide a modern and aesthetically pleasing shopping experience. On the few occasions I've had a small issue, the managers address it promptly and with a smile. The owner will even order in some specialty items for me. Keep up the great work Alpine. read more

The Alpine Deli in Linden is the best I've found in Michigan. 99% homemade in their kitchen; the chicken & potato salad I got for lunch is twice as good as KFC and half the price! Hidden gem unless customers go to the back of the store; great selection of hot entrees. read more

Alpine has become my Go-To Grocery! I love the clean, spacious aisles, beautiful produce selection. The deli and bakery are wonderful, but the meat department has me hooked. Ok even tho I had a cashier accuse me of stealing a gigantic case of water, I do like this place. Been coming here forever since I was a little kid. They have decent prices and have improved the store quite a bit over the years. The ready to go food is very good and always had a good experience with the deli staff.
