They were the only company that provided a detailed estimate to us. One roofing company gave us just a dollar amount and nothing in writing. Another roofing company provided an estimate but it had very little details as to what additional costs could be possibly incurred if there was any underlying roof damage. They weren't the lowest priced estimate but they were competitive with the lowest estimate received. We selected them because their online reviews were excellent and honestly those reviews are well deserved.

My experience with this company has been very good, starting with the initial visit and inspection through the installation of the gutters and downspouts. Of all the roofers I had out to give estimates, Blake and his team were the only ones to physically go up on the roof to do an inspection. All the others merely stood on the ground and did visual inspections. Blake also gave a very honest assessment of the roof's condition (i.e. that it could last another 2-3 years) whereas all the other roofers just said it needed to be replaced. This honesty was one of the reasons I gave Peerless the job. Their estimate was also very detailed, so as to make comparisons with other bids easy, whereas some of the "bids" were nothing more than a contract to sign with all the details done verbally. Once the job was started, the crew worked extremely hard, from 6:30 in the morning until after 6 at night. All landscaping was covered and the group did a conscientious clean-up when the job was complete. The gutters were done the next day and that crew also worked very fast and did a great job. All in all, Peerless did a very professional job from beginning to end. While not the cheapest company, I felt that the job they did was well worth the cost of the contract. We also had them put gutters up in front and on our pole barn. The front gutters seemed to be installed correctly but the pole barn gutters were installed improperly and fell to the ground with the first snow storm. We asked Charlie to fix/reinstall the gutters since his employees did not properly secure it. Charlie stated he would fix it so as installed properly. Then we received a contract to pay for wood to install the gutters and were told he would not fix it unless we signed the blank estimate. There wasn't an amount on it, so we told him we wanted to know the extra charge (we didn't feel we should have been charged anything, but would be willing to pay for extra material if that's what we needed). Charlie then stated he needed to charge for more labor costs and materials, and said he has to "take care of his boys" and said he would charge us to reinstall it properly (as if it was a new project). He refused to fix the issue his employees caused and now we're out the money we originally paid to have gutters put up and have to pay someone else to do the job correctly. We do not recommend them and wish we'd read the Yelp reviews when the contractor (who built the porch) recommended Charlie Copely.

This company was hired to replace my Dryvit on my home. They need to stop emailing me the sales…read morepitches, it just makes me very mad that I got ripped off. Issue 1: They took off 1 inch of Styrofoam and were just going to put up siding without addressing that. The sales man gave me this : "I'm not trying to rip you off or anything". They only offered up 1/4 inch to replace that for another $1400. The Styrofoam was put up for sound since the house is on a corner. Issue 2: when they out on the gutters, I noticed that they ripped off my "Leaf Filter gutter protection and left a large section off because they just threw it away. When I mentioned this he asked if I had a gutter protection up. He KNEW I did. They replaced it with something they had. Probably ruined my guarantee. Issue 3: When they replaced my gutters they placed the gutter on the second level so that the water would just shoot onto the lower roof. That would have eroded the roofing granules. I had that changed. However the odd way the gutter was attached to the side of the house, the gutter is all figured very odd before it goes into the lower gutter. That lower gutter still leaks/drips onto the front step after the rain is long gone. This forms an ice patch on the front step in the winter. This would mean that the gutter is tilted to much. Issue 4: They ended up sealing the windows of the garage shut since they didn't know that the windows actually opened. I let this go since it was already done. Issue 5: When they did the Bay Window, a nail went through to the inside of the house and through the wood. If that wasn't bad enough. Last winter I noticed that the room was very cold. So I took temperature reading of the wood and then of the window pane. The window pane was warmer in EVERY reading. I emailed the company, and received a reply from Jim Payne on 2/11/25 stating this "We added 2" insulation board underneath the bay window seat board. This was also caulked and capped with aluminum. There still is potential for some air to enter into this area." Bull shit. I have lived in this house for 35 years and NEVER have I had this issue. They screwed it up and never bothered to address this. I even sent photos. I am sure I will have to hire another company to fix this. Issue 6: The workers were nice, only one could speak English but what ticked me off was that those that smoked used my yard as their ashtray. Guess who picked them all up...ME I will add photos of all these issues I have stated. I want to make sure that my photos of the Bay window are time stamped. However, no way should the window pane be 8 degrees warmer than the wood. Don't use this company and certainly don't use the sales rep that just brushed me off. I wonder if he tries this crap to men.

They were the epitome of kind and respectful throughout quarantine - always giving us space when the kids were running around or we needed to get bikes out of the garage. They kept the job site clean which we appreciated because we were working and distance learning from home. Thoughtful, personable and fun, they cheered on my son as he made soccer goals from their ladders all while setting boards in place. You can tell there's a great culture at Muller that encourages hard work and teams who enjoy working well together. We were told the crew that was at our home, led by Ishmael, has been with Muller for 17 years (I hope I'm getting that correct) which goes to show employees are treated well, and it's a long-standing business. My initial consultation with the owner, Aaron Glenn, was great. He seemed to understand the entire scope of the project but ultimately fell short at time of contract signing. There were significant discrepancies, and I felt like I was gaslit on multiple occasions. This company subcontracts almost all of its work which resulted in major inconsistent quality and communication issues. Major delays occurred due to incorrect supply orders and measurements, and the company (Aaron) showed absolutely no willingness to offer apologies, sympathies or compensation for these setbacks. The most concerning aspect was his unprofessional and unethical behavior regarding a final punch list of incomplete tasks and a remaining balance of $2000 of a total $138,000 project. He demanded payment onsite without providing an updated invoice and even threatened to dismantle my kitchen if immediate payment was not made via credit card. He was assured multiple times that payment would be sent after final work was assessed by my designer, just as I have been doing for the $135,000 of work previously completed but he refused to leave my home. I ultimately filed a police report and am still contemplating legal action as he has threatened to put liens on my property. Based on these experiences, I would NOT recommend Total Home Improvement, LLC. If you decide to still pursue this company, make sure you get everything from the owner in writing during your initial consultation. It is critical you have him sign a delay of work contract (clause dealing with delay in performance) and a waiver of lien so he cannot threaten you as he has done with me.
