I had 4 windows installed by Mueller in May 2024. I received low quality construction grade windows at a high price. The installers were very good but they are outsourced. If I can give Muller Exteriors more than five stars I would. I had some issues with my siding near the edge of my roofing that another contractor actually made worse. I contacted Muller Exteriors because I really liked their reviews and that they were local. David Muller (who is the owner son) came out to take a second look at my property. Although his company was very busy with projects by the end of the year he was able to squeeze me in after another project down the street completed. David's workers did an excellent job, with a great attention to detail and they also matched my facia beautifully. They were also able to locate my siding from 18 years ago. What I impressed me the most though is not only do they offer a five year transferable warranty (which is unheard of for a repair after getting several other estimates offering only a one-year warranty) they went way above and beyond their job and also made a couple additional small repairs to make sure there was not any issues. I would hands-down recommend this company (which my neighbor will be using shortly too). An honest, skilled roofing and siding company with attention to detail to is very hard to find (I know this unfortunately). I would not hesitate to make this company your only choice for your siding, roofing and repair needs. They also replace windows which may be my next project. Therefore more than five stars is deserved! read more

Muller Exteriors has been our "go-to" company, for all of our roofing, siding, and gutter needs. They were recommended by our neighbor, who has been a customer for many years. Dave Muller is very honest, personable, professional, and his company does a great job. They installed a new roof, siding, and gutters for us, a few years ago. We recently had squirrels in our attic. We had our house resided with LP this month by Muller. Their quote was honest, competitive and very fair (less than we initially guessed the project would be!) and stayed consistent with the scope of work throughout the project. There were no unexpected additional costs or "nickel and diming". The work was completely thoroughly, beautifully and on time. There was no punch list of left over finishing work to complete at a later date. The crew worked full days at every opportunity - weather was the only time we didn't see them. They were the epitome of kind and respectful throughout quarantine - always giving us space when the kids were running around or we needed to get bikes out of the garage. They kept the job site clean which we appreciated because we were working and distance learning from home. Thoughtful, personable and fun, they cheered on my son as he made soccer goals from their ladders all while setting boards in place. You can tell there's a great culture at Muller that encourages hard work and teams who enjoy working well together. We were told the crew that was at our home, led by Ishmael, has been with Muller for 17 years (I hope I'm getting that correct) which goes to show employees are treated well, and it's a long-standing business. Rob came by daily to check on progress and make sure we were pleased. And we are! I would whole-heartedly recommend Muller and feel fortunate our neighbor recommended them to us. read more

About a month ago I contacted Muller to look a roof leak that was causing dripping in my second floor. They told me that chances are the cause is an ice dam, so they were able to get someone out the next day to rake the roof of snow in that area. I asked if they can inspect the roof/attic, and they told me they can once the snow on roof melts. A few weeks later I called and scheduled to have someone come out to look. The roof, I was told, wasn't in too bad of shape, but because they found hail damage on the roof, gutters and skylight I was told we could probably have insurance cover the replacement of aforementioned items. However, I was told not to call my insurance agent until they get back to me later that day with additional information. This part of the experience wasn't bad at all. Three days go by and I still haven't heard anything, so I contacted the office and they took my name and number and said someone will get back to me. Another few days go by and still haven't heard from anyone, so I called again. The lady told me she'll pass along my contact information to the owner and I'll get a call back. Still nothing. Thought I would try to send them a message from their website to see if I'd have better luck. I politely asked if someone would contact me or at least let me know if this is a job they can't/won't do so at least I could reach out to another roofing company. It's been another few days since my message without anyone contacting me. My only guess is that companies that do roofing hate dealing with insurance companies, which is why they want to avoid the job. Still, don't bring that up as a possible solution or at least let me know if it's a job they can't take on right now. I'm sure they do legit work, but for the life of me can't understand how a reputable company just doesn't get back to someone. I worked in sales myself, and certainly not how I would treat a potential customer. I'm all for giving the benefit of the doubt, but after a week and a half have passed, that's where it ends. read more

Very professional and great service! We've used Mueller exteriors to put all new windows in. the installation was professional and done in a prompt amount of time. We also had our roof and gutters replaced by Muller Exteriors, which also was done promptly and very thorough. It is a townhouse, so getting 4 owners together to agree on anything is a feat. They gave us a fair price, used excellent materials, and their installation workmanship was excellent. They put in 2 new skylights and we love the look and the extra light! Unfortunately, I can't provide a review of their workmanship. My review is based on the very discourteous woman who took my call. When I called and asked for an appointment to check out a roof leak, I provided my name and number. She said someone would call me. When I asked approximately when I could expect a call back, she snapped, "I'll give them your message!" That was over a week and a half ago and no one has called me. On the flip side, Apex Exterior's customer service was much more pleasant and I was given an appointment day and time immediately. read more

Horrible experience. They installed gutter guards last fall and didn't bother to clean the gutters prior, even though I asked them to thinking it was obvious that they would. There are also gaps in the guards on the corners where they were installed. They came back out in late fall to inspect at my request and claimed they weren't clogged even though I could see water flowing over the side of the gutters. I cleaned out two downspouts myself this spring and have been asking for 3 weeks to get someone to come and unclog the others. No one came. I just paid to have 3 more spouts unclogged. I just had my roof and gutters replaced by Muller Exteriors, and I am completely satisfied with the job. They gave me a fair price, used excellent materials, and their installation workmanship was top notch. The time to complete was fantastic as well. I had a small problem (one of my shingles blew off) which prompted me to quit stalling and get my roof replaced. David Jr. came out the same day I called, made a temporary repair for free, and had a fair quote in my hands that night. I would give 0 stars if that was an option. Muller Exteriors did new roof installation on my townhouse in 2011, they provided 10 year warranty on it. Now, 8 years later, my roof started leaking, so I contacted them to get it fixed. The main contact number they have is pretty much answering service, they just take messages. I got lucky first  time - David Sr. called me back same day and told me that David Jr. will come to check on the issue within next 2 days. That did not happen. I had to leave multiple messages and send multiple emails, which were unanswered or answered with significant delays. Finally, 8 days later, David Jr came and told me that a piece of plywood was buckling up, and since they did not replace all the plywood with new roof installation (obviously good plywood did not need to be replaced), that is not covered by warranty and would cost me $450: "This repair would typically be a $1,200 dollar repair but because we care about our customers and the positive reviews we receive we are doing this repair around our cost". He scheduled repair for next day and that of course did not happen. To make a long story short: I had another contractor to check on this, who confirmed that plywood was buckling up, also in other spots on my neighbors roofs, which was likely due to ventilation issue (Muller Exteriors did new roof installation on multiple units in our subdivision, including installation of ridge vent). The repair cost was $350. That repair voided my warranty, which was not there anyway as far as I am concerned. To summarize: Muller Exteriors' workmanship quality is questionable, it is extremely hard to reach them, and their 10 year warranty is simply not there. read more

Did a fair job with a roofing job in Fall of 2011. I have tried calling a few times since the service was complete; a couple of times in the past to refer local business to them, but never got a response from anyone- which I have no idea why a business wouldn't return calls for new business... unless things are just sooo good for them, but i doubt it. Most recently, I have tried requesting a copy of the invoice for the service they provided for us since the begininning of August this year. Every time I call a "receptionist" answers and cannot do anything more than take a message. This person claims to work at the "office", but cannot acces any records or transfer calls to any manager, or anyone else for that matter. They kindly tell you that your message will be returned in a few days. Well, I haven't heard back after 3 messages since the beginning of August this year. All I am requesting is a copy of an invoice to provide to my homeowners insurance... Really that simple. read more

This contractor defines what it is to be professional. I had my roof gutters and siding replaced due to storm damage. Muller Exteriors had a specialized crew for each task. They arrived early and stayed late. They went out of their way to install the materials I chose perfectly. There was no need to redo any part of the job. Horrible company, the owner David (I believe the son of a person that once had a good reputation for the company that has their last name) is rather combative, arrogant and simply acting like a cheat. Did our roof over, we never had venting issues, they switch our venting system over and it fails to vent as they never checked. So now we have mold, called them in. The first clown he sends comes down with pictures of an attic that is not even ours trying to prove we were the blame. Send a nasty email, owner hesitantly agrees to send "His Mold guy" to inspect and do an estimate, that takes several more weeks. After we already had an estimate and it was well under 2k to do. His guy comes in over 3k and he said he will pay half. Are you serious Mr Contractor???? ASSUME YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. You failed us as homeowners. You failed to vent the roof. Take some of that profit you enjoyed from our insurance company and simply do the right thing you greed driven man! To run a scam by sending in a bid you will pay half of, only directly to "your guy" so that essentially we pay for it and you pay nothing as I am sure you worked a deal hence his price, is disgusting. We stated time and time again that we are not comfortable with him or his guy and asked him to pay the local company we found that was cheaper than his guy and he is refusing. Cut the check and be done. Such disgusting greed. So now we had to go to the Licenses bureau and make compliant, go to the Dept of Insurance and the Better Business and make complaints all in the hopes of resolution by local agencies intervention and we have to post publicly because he will not rectify appropriately privately and just assume his clear responsibility. Next action is small claims. Imagine all this to lose a customer and any referrals we offer. Amazing, David does not get business. Stay away at all cost!! read more

When our house needed a new roof we started asking around for referrals. Dave's name was the only one that came up a few times... in a good way. After doing the typical three estimate thing, it was an easy decision. Dave was honest and straightforward with us, giving us sound advice based on what we needed, not what would put more money in his pocket. He helped us pick the perfect shingles to enhance the look of our home. His team was efficient, courteous and very neat. We never even found a single nail on the ground! Luckily it's not an expense we have to deal with often, but if we ever find ourselves needing a new roof on another home, we'll skip the three estimates and go right to Dave. read more

After our house sustained roof and siding damage from the hail storm in 2014, we hired a local contractor based on recommendations from others neighbors who had used them and were very satisfied. They were very accommodating as far as scheduling goes, showed up and finished in the time we were told, the crew was very polite, clean and did a great job!
