I brought in my 1994 Yamaha Virago Special Edition 1200 cc Bike for a full service. It needed carburetor work, a new battery, oil change, filters, checking the brakes. As far as I could tell everything was done spectacularly. The bike has been riding great since. I don't ride a lot so I'll bring it back in 2025 for another full service. Had a terrible experience at Alpine tire, stay away. They took my wife car in on a friday at noon, and took it apart and said it need rear break pads and rotors. I asked can you turn the rotors instead of replacing them they said yes $450.00. I said please put new wiper blades on, did not ask for a price. They took the car apart and said they could not get the parts so my wife was out her car for 5 days. They said 750.00 was the price ripped us off. A dangerous place for an oil change. They failed to notice the rubber gasket on the oil pan bolt needed replacing and most of the oil ran out of my truck before I noticed. I also suspect my full size spare was stolen here. Stay away from Alpine Tire! read more

I came to get a slow leak (something in the tire, was a screw) fixed. Friendly, quick service but $44 seemed crazy for plugging a tire.

The gents in the shop were friendly, patient and well spoken when talking auto mechanics with this naive layman. Their communications were efficient and clear. I will go to Alpine Tire first for any issues with our cars. read more

***NEVER GOING BACK*** Took my Tacoma here for a wheel alignment after a suspension system was fitted. On the initial visit the vehicle stability system warning light was on and they said they would fix it. The initial appointment took 1 and a half times longer than I was told and I received no updates. The car did not steer straight after this initial appointment. I returned the vehicle to have it fixed. They had the vehicle all day on this second visit and were not able to fix either of the problems and the steering was still off in the other direction. I booked the car in for a third time and said I just need the warning light reset and for the car to drive straight. Nothing else. I got a notification from the local Toyota dealer that my vehicle was there being worked on. They once again had the vehicle all day. I was called saying my car was ready and I went along to pick it up. Great. The light was off. Out on the road... still not straight! Very disappointing and a ton of wasted time. I called to let them know but could only speak to the front desk guy. No owner or service manager. Would love a call back but I am not expecting that. They are convenient and I am sure they could patch a tire but now I would not even trust them with that. NEVER GOING BACK and I could never recommend them. read more

My husband brought his car in 3times for an alignment where they were not able to do it. They were dismissive and unapologetic. My husband talked to Paul and Britt - they ended up taking it to Toyota to fix the light but the alignment is off and they should have been able to fix it today. Will not ever recommend this place to anyone for car care. read more

NO SAFETY CHECKS, DO NOT GO HERE! I purchased very expensive snow tires from here and they did not tighten my lug nuts on my front driver side correctly. Driving into Denver I had no idea why my car starting making a horrible knocking noise so I took it the dealership were they found my tire was put on "hand tight". That noise was my tire, about to fly off of my car, at speed, down a mountain. Were they apologetic, no. They gave me discount on switching to my summer tires, a discount that didn't even cover the cost of having the dealership look at my car. No so sorry that happened, let's us take care of switching them out, no, a discount. I tired to support a local shop, but they do not care about the safety of their customers. read more

i had 2 flat tires after going to the landfill. Went to Alpine tire to get them repaired , The total for flat repair was $77.00 total with tax. That is more than double what cost should be!! (they were just light truck tires on my 1/2 ton pickup) Go somewhere else unless you have money to burn! read more

Worst experience in town I've had, go to discount a $335 tire that had normal wear and in great condition overall.. they took a chunk out of the tire removing it and denied everything, didn't offer to help cover any of the cost of a new tire. Instead they tell me they only refund my dismount cost and I better get a lawyer if I want a new tire. Poor business ethics and service, don't recommend going there at all ever unless you want disrespect and horrible service. read more

My wife and I were driving cross-country when our right rear wheel started making an ominous grinding noise every time we braked. We spent the night in Glenwood Springs and drove the next morning to Alpine Tire, based on positive reviews online. Those reviews weren't wrong. These guys are friendly, fair and fast. Turns out we had a bad rotor. Less than two hours later, we were on our way. If I lived in Glenwood, I would take my cars to Alpine Tire for everything. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. These people have no knowledge about working on vehicles. They do not care about the way they handle your property. This place could have costed us our lifes. This place is awful. My dad took our truck in for an alignment. The truck drove great before we brought it in, but once we got it back they didn't even test drive it to make sure it was driving correctly. It was pulling and jumping all over the road so badly we could barley drive it on the highway. So, we went back in to let them try again. This time they still were taking far to long so my dad who has worked on vehicles his whole life went in the shop to see what they were doing and they were doing everything wrong, the people who work here don't even know how to do an alignment. My dad said he just wants his money back. The owner was bluntly rude and was arguing with my dad that the truck is what it is. It STILL was not fixed but was WORSE!! This now costed hundreds of dollars to fix do to how bad they messed up the truck. My dad then told the owner that he could take him to court and the owner was calling my dad in front of me a "F***ing b****d" and that my dad was lacked of knowledge. My point is DO NOT go here unless you don't want your vehicle to leave the way you want it to and if your okay with dealing with people who have no idea how to work on a vehicle and who are rude! read more

Alpine Tire has been installing my BF Goodrich tires (ordered from Amazon) for at least 5 years as well as doing brake work and other odds and ends. I called today to have the same thing done, install my BF Goodrich tires. The guy on the phone was completely rude and basically hung up on me after saying "we dont install internet tires", even though they have done this DOZENS of times. They have lost the business of a long time resident that used to recommend them often but will do the opposite now. You dont have to be rude about informing a consistent, good customer. read more

If you want to get gouged go to Alpine Tire. Sent my wife in with my truck and 4 new tires to get mounted and balanced. Because the tires were not a brand that they sold in they're shop they decided to add an extra $63 to the bill. I was a little miffed and decided to call them back the next morning for an explanation as to why they charged so much. Got the manager on the phone and he gave me a price of $117 for mounting and balancing. When he found out that the tires came from some other tire shop and that I was charged $180 he started back pedaling and giving me excuses for the charges. It turns out they dont want to mount and balance other peoples tires, unless of course, they can gouge you. Will not patronize Alpine Tire anymore. read more

After a disgusting expeirence at Discount Tire in Glenwood Springs, Co. I went to Alpine Tire on Glen Ave.. Mike got right on my problem and said my tire was repairable despite the Discount clerk telling me I needed a new tire. The scuff marks on the bladder Discount Tire said was dangerous were just a ploy to sell me a new tire. Mike had his tire man fix my tire balance it and put it on my Jeep for a measely 26 bucks. This is the place to buy tires in Glenwood Springs, Co. One more thing, Big O wanted $169.00 plus mounting for a new tire. They could have it in 1 day. Discount wanted $119.00 plus $30 for mounting and tire disposal fee and it would take 4 days to get it. Alpine Tire is the place. read more
