She was close to Glenwood Springs so I searched service centers and Simply Auto's good reviews I called them asking if they could look at her car if she came in. Although really busy they took the time to run a diagnostic and assure her ( and Dad) that her car was fine. And they checked her tire pressures before she left. Of course they didn't charge her. When I called Mario, he was very quick to blame my vehicle and his balancing machine was calibrated to fill to the correct pressure. I don't know how he knew this as they don't check their work and will sent you away regardless of whether or not the vehicle was safe. His snarky attitude didn't either. Turns out with me checking the tire with 2 different gauges, his machine wasn't set correctly. Nice attitude Mario, like I told you, maybe your attitude will change when you read my reviews. Unfortunately, I don't think Mario cares in the least and he got his money.

We were driving from Austin,TX to Buena Vista when our diesel truck got an alert for "exhaust…read morefilter overload". We immediately called Summit Ford and asked if there was someone how could help us. They said they would try to squeeze us in. 60 miles later, we arrived at summit ford only to find out there may or may not be a diesel technician in on Thursday (this was Monday at 8:30am)but unsure. That would have been nice to know beforehand. The guy behind the desk was unhelpful, would hardly acknowledge us and didn't even have the decency to recommend another local business. They recommended WE DRIVE AN HOUR AND HALF TO FLAT LAND, and see if it would work it self out. WHAT?!? Absolutely, Ludicrous. At that time, I just started making phone calls to local mechanics. Thank god we stumbled on western Summit Mobile Service! They answered and immediately said to bring our truck right over. We were greeted by Matthew who came out to the truck and started working on the truck right away. Not only very professional but the friendliest of guys! Rocky came out and helped as well. We also learned that the truck would not have made it to this "flat land" summit ford "recommended". Unfortunately, after working on the truck for 30 minutes, they came to the conclusion that we needed some additional equipment but they graciously recommended another local business across the street and didn't even charge us a fee. We truly appreciate their willingness to help.

I don't like to think about how that could have ended. You'll pay a bit more for the service, but be glad you have this place as an option when you need it.
