I really didn't want to leave a negative review because I understand mistakes can happen, but I feel like I should share my experience. I ordered a bean, cheese, and rice burrito. As soon as I took a bite, I noticed it had a strong Fabuloso-like smell and taste. It was so overwhelming that I ended up getting sick and throwing up. My husband and I were honestly more concerned that someone else could have the same experience if there was an issue with food preparation or cleaning products. We tried calling the restaurant right away to let someone know, but the phone just went straight to voicemail, and the mailbox wouldn't accept messages. This review isn't meant to attack the business. I wanted to give them the opportunity to address it directly, but since I couldn't get ahold of anyone, I felt it was important to leave a review in case this was more than just an isolated mistake. But I remember coming here to this little tiny brick and mortar building ( a smallkitchen basically ) and today I was in the area of Marks and Ashland and juts like 20 years ago till today when you pass this tiny little building the drive thru line and the walk up customers line is long. I stopped to see how much if any has change. THE PRICE of TWO TACO is only 2$ and the taste and quality is oh soooo good. Located on Ashlan and marks this small but mighty taco stand delivers deliciously flavor tacos their menu also includes enchiladas, nachos, flautas, tamales, burritos, tostadas, quesadillas, breakfast burrito, tortas, and nachos. I was able to get 50 tacos a tray of beans and a tray of rice for a really reasonable price it was ready within 30 minutes of me walking up to the window and requesting it I had to bring my own pans from the store that is in the same parking lot . I was also able to have them package it for me so when I got home only thing I had to do was sit in on the table my friends and family were all able to enjoy my birthday on taco Tuesday. They helped me bring my vision forward for a reasonable price. The little drive thru shack on the corner of Ashlan and Marks is usually busy and I haven't been to this spot in a long time so I decided to stop by the other day since the line was short. I ordered some tacos and was surprised that not only do they not put onions on their tacos but the worker told me they don't even have them! I also thought it was strange that the tacos only come with tomatoes and cabbage (not even cilantro). The tomatoes on tacos had zero flavor, almost as if they were old or sitting out too long. Poor AL's memory and delicious legacy is being utterly destroyed (He passed away in 2004 in a vicious Chihuahua mawling incident, R.I.P. AL, Teacup, & Papi) by these owners. Not only have they raised the price, they made it a point to deliberately give you less. The meat is still flavorful but on a plate of 5 tacos, I barely got enough meat that would normally go on 2 tacos(see pics). Each taco barely had a tablespoon worth. Not bad but not amazing like other reviews say. They were decent for the price. They came with lemon and salsa. Salsa isn't very spicy but I felt it a little bit after I drenched my last taco in it for extra flavor.
