Just OK. Came here because of the great reviews on Yelp! Came in on a Sunday for dinner and we were the only party in there. The vibe was very nice. Super clean. Our waitress was SO NICE and food came out fairly quickly. The meal comes with complimentary chips and salsa and refried beans. Pretty tasty appetizer considering it was free. However, my main entree wasn't as good as I was hoping. I got their 3 taco combo and opted for pastor for my meat. It was mid! The presentation was nice. The meat was a bit too salty for my liking and I thought the rice and beans were just OK. If you want good tacos, I'd suggest going to a taco truck or a different spot. I think my whole party was underwhelmed by the food unfortunately.

    Asada Nachos and Mango Margarita

The food is delicious! I could eat just their beans and be happy! I always test a new-to-me Mexican restaurant with their Nachos. The Asada Nachos were wonderful! And a mango margarita for good measure! The service was quick and done with a friendly smile. Clean and authentic atmosphere! I will be back!

I ordered the Steak Molcajete.. it doesn't appear to be in a stone bowl. I'm used to Molcajetes to be boiling hot, as seen in the photo, the panela cheese didn't even melt. It was very soupy, and had underwhelming flavor. My party came on a Sunday around 6pm, we were the only ones dining. Despite the good service, and attentive waitress, won't be returning... due to the mediocre food.

The food and service were great! The Chile Rellanos and enchiladas were really good. Nice and clean!

The staff is so warm and kind! I love coming here and do often with my family! I've ordered various things and never had a bad meal. My favorite is the taco salad the meat is crunchy and tasty and the toppings are fresh! Also another awesome thing is this restaurant is super clean!!

    Sopes de Carnitas

The food, as usual, was delicious and the service is always friendly and quick. Starting with the complimentary chips, salsa, and a unique touch of refried beans topped with cheese. See the enclosed photos. My sopes de carnitas, with beans and rice were cooked perfectly and my wife enjoyed her al pastor street tacos.

This is a very cute small restaurant that feels like a home inside. The food here is alright in my opinion, not the best but not the worst. I only say this because the main dishes definitely taste of a lot of cumin and salt and was a bit overwhelming to me the more bites I took. Our sides/appetizers were great though and the service was fast and friendly here.

On the second stop today of our michelada taco tour, we visited Cocina Village. We sat outside on the patio. I really enjoyed their micheladas. It was very light and had a tangy lime flavor. The mini tacos were okay. It was $7.99 for 3 mini tacos. I ordered the shredded beef and the shredded chicken. The shredded beef was a little dry. The shredded chicken didn't have a whole ton of flavor, but it was good. The chips and salsa are good and the michelada was good. The bathroom is clean and ambiance is cute.

Second Visit, did not take photos. I ordered a beef chimichanga, that was very good. My sister got menudo again, she added additional oregano. The tacos were a under-seasoned to my taste, but with tapatio it was okay. We sat in the back area this time near a window, super chill spot, servers so far have been friendly and attentive, although this time my bill was incorrect, charged for 4 drinks with 3 ordered.

No free refills on sodas? And you charge for chips and salsa?

Refills were free and I was not charged for the Chili's and salsa.

Do you serve low carb tortillas? Thanks?

Hello, thank you for reaching out, we unfortunately don’t carry low carb tortillas but we do have many other low carb and vegetarian food options! Best Regards.

This place is officially bookmarked for every future drive through Fresno!…read more The lengua and chicharrón tacos were honestly some of the best I've ever had. I also sampled the carnitas on top of crispy taco shells as well. The meat was incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, and the tortillas came out hot, fresh, and perfectly cooked. Every bite reminded me why simple food done right is hard to beat. I was hoping to try the mojara frita, menudo, and barbacoa, only to find out the menudo and barbacoa are weekend only specialties. Needless to say, I was pretty disappointed, but it also gives me a great reason to come back. What really stood out, beyond the food, was the hospitality. David, who appears to have been running the place for over 20 years, was incredibly charismatic and provided the kind of customer service that seems harder and harder to find these days. You can tell he genuinely cares about both the restaurant and the people who walk through the door. One of my favorite parts of the visit was when I saw the owner come out and greet the regulars and customers. The interactions felt sincere and heartfelt, not forced. There was a real sense of community here, as if customers weren't just patrons but part of an extended family. That kind of atmosphere is special and says a lot about the people behind the business. Great food, warm hospitality, and a welcoming environment--I'll definitely be back, hopefully on a weekend next time.

I don't think I've ever felt betrayed by Yelp reviews...until now…read more During a recent road trip we stopped here to picked up some lunch/dinner because tacos are quick and easy and their Yelp rating is high. Location/services: Upon entering the building I immediately noticed the heat. It was a hot 98 degree day and the restaurant felt like an oven and was maybe 3-5 degree cooler than it was outside. I then quickly noticed this was a very simple operation (almost like a food truck), and not much to the menu, but there were folks sitting and eating and a few others waiting to order, so I assumed the food must be great. We ordered 4 meals (tacos with rice/beans) which was meant to be eaten there but after waiting in line and feeling like we were in a hot box, we decided to make it to go. We sat and waited for our food (about 20 mins), we chatted and observed our surroundings and it became very apparent the restaurant was not maintained with basic cleaning because it was very grimy and just plain dirty. I then used the restroom and it was absolutely disgusting. Our ordered was called and the staff was very nice. The food: As I mentioned, we got 4 orders of tacos (all carne asada) with rice/beans, and we asked for salsa and limes. We got grilled jalapenos, lemons and one sandwhich baggy filled with red salsa. Not a big deal. The meat was fine but the tortillas were inedible. They were tough, flavorless, and greasy. The bean and rice were ok. We ate enough to curb our hunger but none of us finish our food. Upon my best judgement, I had convinced myself that the food was gonna be great because their Yelp rating told me so. I was so wrong! One last note, there was nothing here that resembled a bakery/panaderia. So if you think you could also grab a treat here, you are wrong.

What could have been a disappointing surprise turned into one of the best local dining experiences we've had in a long time. We had the pleasure of meeting Miguel himself, and his hospitality immediately stood out. He took the time to introduce us to several items on the menu and encouraged us to try a little bit of everything. I'm glad he did. The red beans and rice were absolutely phenomenal, and every single thing we tasted was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with pride. You can tell Miguel genuinely cares about both the food and the people he serves. What impressed me most wasn't just the food--it was the atmosphere. Miguel has a gift for making you feel welcome. His heart for hospitality is second to none, and it's obvious that serving great food and creating a great experience are his top priorities. If you're looking for a hidden gem in Clovis, this is it. Whether you're stopping in to catch a game, grab a meal with friends, or enjoy a simple flip-flop date night with your spouse, Miguel's is worth the visit. We'll definitely be back, and I can't recommend this place enough.

Miguel sells his auntenthic mexican food and Lisa sells her favorite sweet treats. By far on the market, they sell pretty bomb salsa! It's not like the generic salsa from store bought one, it's just like the unique homemade family recipes. And trust me, these are not as supper vinegary. I love Miguel's salsa! Miguel's message was to serve his community and bring his tradition to the table. He brought the flavors of Michoacan and Jalisco Mexico which were passed down from the Segura family. SERVICE :: I love Miguel's service! He personally serves you and greet you there. He offered me free chips and salsa while i wait. They were quiet busy but get things done quickly too. RATE : 5/5 SALSAS & CHIPS - COMPLIMENTARY:: His salsas and chips were the best thing I've ever recieved. He serves his famous red and green salsa with a little bit of ground beef on top. They go so well together. RATE : 5/5 RED SALSA :: It's hard to describe it here but it's roasty burnt salsa full of flavors. Not too vinegary. You just got to try it in person. RATE : 5/5 GREEN SALSA :: I personally love the green sauce more, in general. And still Miguel's green salsa still beats the red salsa. I can taste all of the greens and fruit in it. It may be advertised mild but the heat is there. It's about almost the same spice level as the red salsa. RATE : 5/5 ASADA TACO ($3.49) :: Besides his salsa, his tacos were amazing too. It's well seasoned, unique, and full of flavor. The asada is something that I've never tasted before. It's very herby, well seasoned to taste, juicy and tender! RATE : 5/5 TACOS DORADOS ($4.49) :: The tacos dorados were something different from what I've had before and were absolutely delicious. This taco reminds me of birria. The texture and flavor were also amazing. I asked for pork, it was supper moist, tender and juicy full of flavors. The cotija cheese brings a nice dry and light cheesy taste to it. And lastly, those pickled jalapeno just give a pop of juicy, sour, and spicy flavor. RATE : 5/5 PISTACHIO CREAMES ICED MATCHA (16oz - 6.49) :: Lisa use Tenzo brand. I've used and tried Tenzo before and it's hard to ratio the matcha. Over portion Tenzo match will be too bitter and too little too diluted. And yes, Lisa's Matcha was on the diluted side. The pistachio flavoring is light and taste artificial. The sweetness level is perfectly sweetend. Not too sweet. RATE : 2/5 NOTE : Spend anything above $50, get a $5 dollar off voucher for the next purchase. OVERALL :: Overall, it's a hidden gem that's definitely worth checking out! Don't forget his salsas, he do sell them on the side. I'll definitely go back for more and try his other menu!

It's not the most aesthetic restaurant but... it's on the corner of Blackstone & Dakota-- lol I didn't expect it to be. Friendly staff. Great chefs. Service is always good/quick. We've never waited long to have our orders taken or to receive our food. Now... those enchiladas!
