If I could rate Alta water with zero stars, I 100% would. Here's what happened. I recently moved, so I was looking for a new water delivery, and came across Alta. Their introductory offer was really enticing - order one 5 gallon jug, get one free - including free delivery. All in all, I spent $7 for 10 gallons of water to be delivered, which was pretty rad. Things were fine until I noticed I was going through water faster than I thought I would, and I went into their website to see if I could increase the frequency of delivery. Outside of making an account with them online for delivery, their website is absolute garbage. It's clunky, misleading, and not user friendly in the slightest. I wasn't able to locate my account details, only the account history. Ergo, I called. The phone number connected to this place is a mobile device, which just screams SHADY. Also, the phone rings and rings and rings - they never answer. I resorted to texting them and asking them to confirm when my next delivery was. They told me in two weeks, and I requested details on increasing the frequency of delivery. Whoever was on the other end of the text message definitely needs a lesson in customer service. They wanted to charge my card before giving me details of costs. I'm really glad I clarified because delivery is $35 PER DELIVERY. jfc highway robbery. I told them to cancel my service and asked when they'd be picking up the bottles. And then I waited. And waited. And waited. A week went by, and I asked them what was going on. And then I waited some more. Finally, today, I got a response of "keep the bottles" (attached). The quality of the water was great, but so not worth dealing with their shady business and awful customer service. I ended up going to Sparklett's - waaaay better website, a much better customer service experience, and they're not charging an arm and a leg for water. If you need water delivery, go with Sparkletts - they're pretty fantastic. Avoid Alta at all costs. Ye be warned. read more

Great water - undeniably yummy. However it's a disaster of a company. Never sign up for delivery! They have no issue auto billing each week with the promise and contact of the invoice stating "upon 24 hrs of order someone from our company will contact you for delivery". This has never happened - maybe 1 time but I also have to contact them. I live in a strict HOA gated community and they just show up when they want. Therefore my empties are never out and I have to drive them back to store - 20 mins out of my way and I'm paying a $15 delivery fee. Employees told me how sketchy the owners are hiring random people to deliver and they quit all the time because the owners refuse to reimburse them gas/mileage after the fact. The drivers also don't know the exact address until they select your delivery and if they don't want to drive to you they just won't show up. At one point I got they to finally commit to Friday delivery... and then guess what, they delivered on a Thursday. They do what is convenient for them and not the customer. I've had occasions where my water didn't deliver and I text them and it takes 4-5 days for a reply. They don't have a NV business license and now have some outsourced call center. I hope they can get it together but sadly I've given up after 8 months of service. Just not worth the hassle. read more

Very convenient - 40 cents for a gallon of purified water. I nearly always use the outside dispensers. The only thing I wish were different is being able to use a credit card for the purified water outside. Currently, you can only use a card for Alkaline water. read more

n the last 2-3 weeks, been trying to get my water refill into my containers and realized they were not open even the times I would show up and their outside water machine and coin does not work at all. I called them up one day and told them this and said they will be open this week but they weren't. Very inconvenient and not the truth what was going on with them. read more

The quality of water was good, but a bit expensive. $10 for a 5 gallon refill. The gentleman who was working there was a bit uninterested in explaining about their alkaline water which put me off. Will go back only if I don't want to make a drive elsewhere. read more

Very rude staff, and horrible service. Will not be returning. What I thought was friendly discussion with an employee quickly turned to name calling and escalation. I was called a "communist" and "psychopath" which upset me greatly and when I made that clear I was threatened to be "taught a lesson". What happened to civility? read more

Machine outside took money and would not dispemae water or refund. Transient population came up to use as shower or something right as I was leaving. Might be a good idea to check the outside machines work each night before closing the store. Customer for years but this machine always being broken has made me go look for a new spot and the smell of urine from the people who sleep nearby doesn't help. read more

Never in my life did I think I would be the person who had my water delivered (when tap water is so readily available), but here I am and I am so glad I made the switch. As an action sports athlete taking care of my body is priority number one and once I started drinking Alka water my sleep, performance, and overall health have sky rocketed. It's amazing how one simple fix like the type of water you drink can help you improve your health on a day to day basis. If you haven't made the jump to Alka water I would highly suggest doing so ASAP. read more

Excellent customer service ! Gave us samples and information about the water choices ! Brought a 5 gallon of the ph water to try compared to our current ph and it was excellent taste . Good water but be careful because they are not clear about their prices, I misunderstood that it's $2 a gallon and not 40¢. That mistake cost me $20. When I told him I didn't mean to buy water at that cost $20 the guy just shrugged his shoulders. Not sure if I'll return. read more

I come about every 2 weeks to fill up gallon jugs. They offer a $20 prepaid card that rewards you with 2 free gallons of alkaline water which comes in handy as I'm here so often. read more

Good tasting water. Clean facility and friendly staff. The water is a little pricey but it's definitely worth it. I've been to a few other water dispensers and they don't have the clean crisp taste that the water has here. Also very convenient that they have a 24hr accesible water dispenser even for alkaline water. Would definitely recommend. read more

Unless your looking to buy a water dispenser, not much can be said about a store that sells water. The highlight note would be that their alkaline gallon cost $2!! More than I've seen anywhere else! There is also an unnecessary tip jar on the counter. Why does everyone asks for tips nowadays? Get past their lectures... which are posted everywhere; "no refunds, rights reserved, final sales, no smoking outside, blah blah..." and your good to go. Why four stars? Best place to get water Scott is so nice and friendly. He is very knowledgeable on alkaline water and how it's good for your health. I choose to come here over anywhere else because Scott is so nice.
