This was an all levels class but it seemed like most people have been here before. The instructor just jumped right in with no intro or anything. Although it's a relatively small class of 12, I feel like you don't get help if you need it. I just felt really uncomfortable the whole time, both emotionally and physically. Emotionally because he didn't really slow down or show any modifications, he just demonstrated and has us try. The way he explained wasn't very technical either, so I wasn't sure whether I was doing it right or not. Also, I didn't like that he commented sometimes in cantonese. Just because the students are mostly Chinese doesn't mean that you should assume they understand it. Physically uncomfortable because the hammock was too high for me and it wasn't adjustable. He said that it's okay if it's too high because I'm going to invert upside down anyway. Somebody fell down and he calmly continued teaching, later asking if she was okay. Maybe it's his teaching style, but I just don't feel comfortable going to another one of his classes.

I had a really good experience at this yoga studio. They offer Hanuman Yoga, which is taught no…read morewhere else in Toronto, aerial yoga classes and some other classes. The Instructor is really helpful and he has other students and assistants in the class to help students get into the poses if you sign up for any of the All Level Classes. I took a Hanuman Yoga class which was really hard. This class uses a yoga strap, which you use to invert yourself from the ceiling and to perform all of the poses. I actually found this class a little too difficult for myself but I did appreciate all of the help from the instructor, his assistant and the other classmates. At this studio they have a few aerial yoga classes. The traditional aerial yoga class is done very high off the floor and was much more difficult than all of the other aerial yoga classes I have ever been to. I have a few more classes at this studio and am going to try the aerial yoga class, which happens on Wednesday evening since I was told it it done much closer to the ground. I think it will be more in line with the other aerial yoga classes I have done in the past. The studio also has a Hatha yoga class which is completed on the floor and if the other aerial yoga class is too difficult I might check that one out on a Sunday to see what I think of it.

The gym sits on the 36th floor and has a gorgeous view of Lake Ontario and the CN Tower and the Dome! Lots of equipments, Exercise bikes, Elliptical machines, Tread Mills and various other Weight Machines and assorted Bar Bells and Dumbbells. The Change room could be a little crowded during preCovid peak times. Now days quite empty as most members have not yet returned to downtown. It also has a Yoga Studio, Group Exercise classes and a full size swimming pool on the top floor. Steam room and Whirl pool in both Men and Women's Change rooms. Although I have never been in the Women's Change Room. It also has a Health Clinic staffed with many Physiotherapist, Registered Massage Therapist, Chiropractors , Athletic Specialists and Personal Trainers! It has a 5 star restaurant attached with a gorgeous view of the lake and the city. You don't have to be a member to eat at the restaurant or visit the Health Clinic for Treatments. Membership is expensive though, I pay $200 a month for use of the gym and assigned a tiny cube to store my Running Shoes and some gym clothes. The bigger lockers are for day use only . You can request a tour of the facility to get a better understanding of the facilities. If you mention my name, you might get some freebies... I usually go there 3 days a week in early mornings and it's almost like my own Private Gym. 10 minutes walk from my office, so there is no excuse for me not to go and get Fit!

Change rooms are fantastic and fully equipped with WHATEVER your heart desires - even personalized lockers! Run or gobble at their restaurant with a view. If you want to work out at a place that has nearly everything you need then this is that place but at a steep price point. They have a swimming pool and doesn't seem to ever get too crowded. I tried out the yoga lesson bright and early which was great as it felt more like a one one one. I liked this instructor as she wasn't too pushy or too pretentious (as is my issue with Yoga and I never really gave it a genuine go before for this reason). I felt great after and would probably even sign up for a membership if I worked in the area.
