They didn't have a single piece of moving equipment, actually. No dollies - nothing. They packed so inefficiently we were forced to rent another Pod, beyond our 28' truck, which cost another $1800. Upon unpacking in our new home, the truck was in shambles. The pics show the damage which amounts to more than $2,000. The owner has basically said we benefited from his cheap labor and he carries NO INSURANCE!!! He claimed he "wasn't in possession" of our stuff so someone else must have done this?? We supervised the unloading and took pics of everything on the truck, as it was packed. Rich, the owner, takes NO responsibility and blames everyone else but the truck was locked by ABF upon them completing the packing. I don't have a key. ABF unlocked it at our new location, which we witnessed. In trying to resolve with Rich he resorted to personal name calling. Extremely unprofessional people.

He was great at working with my Mom before the move in getting her boxes, changing the moving date, dropping off stuff to my Dad's room in a separate area of the building, and answering all of her questions! The day of the move they were all kind and careful with belongings. My sister and I actually had fun the day of the move and helping these guys get stuff done quickly! Their bid was on track for timing and no extra charge surprises the day of the move. To help solve the issue, Jeff told me that he could replace my 20 ft container with a 16 ft container. I didn't like that solution as I would be receiving a smaller container. He then told me that he would also provide me with a 2nd 16 ft container at no charge. I should have requested that in writing. From here, everything went south. I was charged far more than what Jeff told me I would be charged and when I questioned everything, he told me that he would never tell anyone that they would be receiving a container free of charge regardless of the mix up. Do not purchase their insurance either. I had to file a claim and then the insurance adjuster told me that my claim was not covered. My gut told me to go with PODS and the next time that I move, I will be working with PODS.
