I refer my patients to her services and hear great things in response! One in particular sticks out: A sweet dog was getting eye surgery and I recommended Cindie work with him. And when he came back for his post-surgical check up, the vet was astounded that the inflammation was totally clear - something the vet had never seen before! So if you're wondering whether it's worth it to have your pet receive some energy healing when you're already spending so much for their health - the answer is YES! It can make the recovery process easier and less drawn out for your pet (that means less costly too). If you're looking for an unforgettable experience, take a class with Cindie Ambar. I don't have pets now, but I love connecting with animals. I took my pregnant wife to a workshop at the pregnant mare rescue on how to bond with animals and we had the most magical time. The baby horses came right up to us and loved us up after we meditated with them. I can't think of a better gift to give another person than a magical experience like that! And if you want to build your skills as an animal healer yourself - take her Reiki classes! Cindie is the real deal - give her a call and step into her world. She's got brilliant talents and resources.

She stopped eating and we took her into the emergency vet. We had to put her down and it felt so sudden. It was a real shock. I cancelled my appointment with Charly, but then changed my mind and rescheduled it. During our session, she told me that the moment she received my request, Charlotte came through to her and said she was ready to go. This was a great comfort to me. She said many other things that deeply comforted me and confirmed that Charlotte's spirit will never leave me. I am still very sad, but this session helped tremendously. I also had a healing done for myself, which was so very helpful. I felt lighter and less devastated. I also felt Charlotte's spirit all around me. I highly recommend Charly for pet communication and healing for your fur baby or yourself. She is a very sweet and empathetic soul and I feel she is the real deal. I know there are skeptics and naysayers, but I don't care. This experience made a huge difference for me in my grieving process and connection to Charlotte.

Georgie (the Yorkie) was mouthy, marked everywhere and quite undisciplined. My only other dog was a golden retriever mix so I didn't know the difference between a dog who wanted to only please me (retriever) and the stubborn Yorkie I had inherited. After unsuccessfully housebreaking Georgie for several weeks, I decided to enlist a professional so I didn't make mistakes with him down the line. And with my busy schedule (divorced mom of two and full time workaholic) I didn't want to neglect the sweet little addition to my family. Emily was able to find four days to work with my pup that fit my busy schedule as well as give me the tools I needed as a Yorkie owner. She is patient and left me detailed notes on what I need to do to keep the commands she taught him. She even worked with my kids so they could use the same commands. She also made sure to take him around town to socialize him with other dogs and people - he came home exhausted from the fun day! I'm proud to say we still use the commands she taught Georgie (it's been about 5 months) but sadly the breed is tough to housebreak - he's smart but particularly stubborn. However, the pee pad techniques Emily worked on is pretty useful so that is a definite plus! And Georgie is pretty cute so we don't mind too much...

I've had my dog since he was 8 weeks old, and all of his care had been handled here for years. My first major concern happened during his neuter procedure. The staff emphasized that we needed to arrive exactly at 8 AM, so I gave my dog a bath beforehand since I knew he wouldn't be able to bathe after surgery. My dog is hypoallergenic and has hair rather than fur, so he takes a long time to dry. He was still slightly damp when we arrived because I didn't have enough time to fully blow-dry him before the appointment. Hours went by without any communication from the clinic, so I finally called to check on him. That's when they informed me they hadn't even started the procedure because they were waiting for him to dry off in the kennel. I was extremely upset that nobody thought to call and tell me my dog's surgery had been delayed for hours over something so minor. After the surgery, I followed all post-op instructions, but weeks later the stitches still had not dissolved and my dog was becoming irritated. Because my trust had already been shaken, I ended up going to another vet for a second opinion and to have the stitches removed. Despite all of this, I decided to give the clinic another chance. My dog had his first dental cleaning and extraction here when he was around 3, and now at age 7 he needs another cleaning. This time, however, they suddenly said that because of his underbite they could no longer handle his "anatomical challenges" and referred me to a specialist in Aptos that charges nearly double and is completely out of the way. What doesn't make sense to me is that they successfully cleaned his teeth before, but now they're saying they can't do it again. After more than six years of bringing my dog here with no major medical issues, it's incredibly disappointing to now feel like they no longer want to service him. Overall, the customer service has been poor. Communication is lacking, emergencies don't seem to be prioritized appropriately over routine appointments, and my experiences here have left me very disappointed and frustrated.

The area on her neck was extremely red, there was bleeding, and a large scab formed. This did not look like a normal needle mark, it looked like trauma to the skin. Animals cannot speak. They cannot tell us what they experienced, so we rely on clinics to treat them with care and proper technique. Seeing this on my dog raises serious concerns about the quality of care here. When I went back to talk to them, I received no clear explanation or real help. My concerns were not taken seriously. We have been coming here for four years, but this completely broke our trust. We will NEVER COME BACK AGAIN! I will be posting a comparison photo of my friend's dog after a blood draw, the difference is obvious.

He charged an additional $110 due to matting, which is so much more than the typical $20 or so I've paid at other groomers. I would have appreciated a heads-up before he did it, rather than being informed at check out. In addition, he didn't clean my dog's ears, which had noticeable hair overgrowth. He advised me to see a vet because he had no time but when I took my dog to Dr. Gary at Mountain Feed, he said that ear cleaning is usually the groomer's responsibility and if there was infection after cleaning I can then come back to the vet. I ended up walking into Where the Fur Flies in Ben Lomond, where they took care of it right away for $10. Jackson also made a comment about picking up 3 ticks at checkout that he usually never do that while my other groomer once happily helped. He made me feel bad that I tipped him a bit more. In Nov 2024, I needed a last min appt with my second dog (because no one else was available) and I was charged an extra $40 for boarding because I picked up late - again, this was before tips and taxes. Just a heads-up to make sure you're available to pick up your dogs as soon as they're done. I tipped 18-20% for all these services at the three appointments.. Overall, while the grooming itself was okay, I found the price, customer service lacking and a bit standoffish - he also made me feel that he cared more about his blades than client relationship and my dogs. Blades are metal, how much more they could get hurt.. anyway, I believe clearer communication and more flexibility would go a long way.

The calm and relaxing environment really made a difference, and I could tell my dog felt more comfortable than he usually does during grooming appointments.
