The care at Encompass from the nursing staff was prompt and very caring towards my husband. He fractured his pelvis and hip and required a lot of assistance at first. The PT department quickly showed him how to navigate his injury and become mobile again! Can't say enough about their expertise! All call lights were promptly answered by any team member who was walking by and this was incredible! The food was also good which pleased my husband as well. However, Lorena in case management is a GEM! Things kind of got confusing as we were ready to leave as none of the main items we needed at home (bedside commode, wheelchair) were ordered for us. However, Lorena (not our original case manager) stepped in and solved the problem efficiently within 24 hours. She is the true epitome of a team player and if I owned a business I would hire her in a minute!!! Thank you Lorena for turning a disaster into a WIN for Encompass and us!!

I was very concerned that he would not Want me after receiving a bottle. Dr. Beckman was cheerful, humble, knowledgeable and very positive that 1) baby was born knowing how to latch on to me...we just needed to remind him. And 2) baby should have no problem switching back-and-forth between nipple and bottle it was just a matter of strengthening the muscles that were weak. That was such a relief for a first time mommy. She went though a series of simple tests and gave us exercises to practice. Three days later he had his first decent latch. And ever since then it's been getting better and more consistent with longer stretches of time. We are not even two weeks since our visit with Dr. Beckman and today we've done more breast-feeding than pumping! Dr. Beckman and associates are professional, friendly, and prompt. Her process is backed by science and research, and carried out with kindness and compassion. I would highly recommend this office. Baby and I are forever grateful.

As she was not getting better, I continued to seek help for her. We were referred to your practice for speech therapy to help with her cognitive function. The first time I met Michelle, I knew she was in great hands. She took her time explaining everything she would do and why it was important. She was so thorough that I didn't have any questions after our first visit. My daughter has really enjoyed working with her and has stayed positive throughout her recovery all because Michelle is such a joy to work with. She actually thinks it's fun to go to speech and appreciates the relationship Michelle and she have built. She even took the time to give me a complete update last week and made additional suggestions for helping her with her schoolwork offering support and communication to her guidance counselor if needed. My daughter has played volleyball for 7 years and thought she would play throughout high school and hoped to play in college. At this point, she likely will not return to the sport she loves so much, which was a really hard pill for her to swallow. My journey with Fyzical began a few months later, and I was visually dependent for most of my mobility and had extreme dizziness with even slight motions.
