This approach allows her to find root causes of your pain. She is literally very "hands on" - this allows her to make adjustments that facilitate healing. She follows every session with detailed emails with videos showing exactly what needs to be done to fully resolve your issues. I have seen Cathy for shoulder, neck, foot and most recently hip issues. I am never disappointed and she always helps resolve my issue. A further plus is her extensive knowledge of the body and enthusiastic attitude. My physical therapist, Alison Burnham, is the clinical lead and was wonderful to work with. I've have PT for my back a few times over the last several years after being severely rear ended a few years back and again more recently, and have been to different AdventHealth Sports Medicine & Rehab locations each time. My most recent occasion at this location with Alison was by far the best - she is attentive, engaging and seems to have a great holistic understanding of ways to help and heal. I've also done therapeutic massage over this past year with the massage therapist on site, Daniela, which has also been really great. She focuses on problem ares well, notices if something seems to be causing pain, and is incredibly caring. I recommend this location, and especially these practitioners, for physical therapy and therapeutic massage to all!

I was reluctant to try out PT because I thought it wouldn't help. I have never been so glad to be wrong. Although Saylor is not in network with my insurance, I pay a vey reasonable self pay fee. I made an appointment very easily for the following week. I was surprised I didn't have to wait weeks or even a month for my appointment! The office is in a very nice area off Park Ave and itself is a beautiful space. My hour appointment is very well spent and after just three visits I am feeling so much better. I highly recommend coming to Saylor for physical therapy. You will get the attention you deserve that you cannot find at a larger commercial practice.

I have had a bad experience at the first physical therapy office I went to, but since coming to CORA Winter Park, I have made more progress with range of motion, pain, abilities/capabilities, etc., than I have this whole past 1.5 years post accident before coming to CORA PT Winter Park. Everyone is SO friendly, the environment is so warm, welcoming, and they really listen, hear you and make sure you do the best stretches for YOU and your situation. Shoutout to Akesia! She is the therapist/doctor that has been with me since the beginning and every step of the way, giving me stretches, asking how I've been doing with home PT, etc. I've never felt so heard and just taken care of. I've had more progress these past 3 weeks with Akesia than I have these past 1.5 years going to other offices combined. I got into a car accident 1.5 years ago that left me with bulging discs, a pinched nerve, a bone spur, and a sprain and a strain to my cervical spine completely straightening my neck and loosing the natural curvature. I was unable to work (and still unable atm), in severe pain and when I first got into my car accident I went to a different Physical Therapy company (in late 2022)and they gave me such hard stretches that it made my neck worse. I asked for easier stretches or if they can modify my stretches and they refused and said for me to just "do what I have." I did, and it hurt my neck so badly.... At that moment I couldn't hold a phone, wash a fork, brush my hair, etc. My bad experience, feeling ignored and unheard made me leave that PT office; I tried a chiropractic office for 11 months in 2023 but didn't see much progress. When I got health insurance in 2024 I decided to try a different physical therapy company (CORA Physical Therapy Winter Park)but was so nervous and skeptical from my initial experience... Coming to CORA PT Winter Park was the best decision I have ever made and I can't believe the progress I've made in such a short amount of time. I am so hopeful, which I felt like I was lacking for so long. I feel like I can see an end in sight and now I finally feel like maybe I'll be able to go back to work this year and regain my life back. I felt that our baby was being handled with care. We were given clear directions and were even allowed to record the session! The office was very clean & they even offered complimentary coffee/tea/flavored water, etc. The price was very reasonable, and I felt we got our money's worth out of the appointment. It felt like a genuine experience and I'm thankful for direction on how we can help our baby at home with exercises.

I was very concerned that he would not Want me after receiving a bottle. Dr. Beckman was cheerful, humble, knowledgeable and very positive that 1) baby was born knowing how to latch on to me...we just needed to remind him. And 2) baby should have no problem switching back-and-forth between nipple and bottle it was just a matter of strengthening the muscles that were weak. That was such a relief for a first time mommy. She went though a series of simple tests and gave us exercises to practice. Three days later he had his first decent latch. And ever since then it's been getting better and more consistent with longer stretches of time. We are not even two weeks since our visit with Dr. Beckman and today we've done more breast-feeding than pumping! Dr. Beckman and associates are professional, friendly, and prompt.
