Traveled again with him just recently and would recommend highly. New, spacious and clean car. It is outfitted with an enclosed rooftop luggage rack, and the suv looks like it sits at least six. My experience with Rockingham Taxi was completely positive, from the first phone call to being dropped off at the front of my house. I had to change my pickup times several times due to the schedules of C & J bus, and every time the person on the phone was always polite and accommodating. I was nervous that the taxi would be late, since I had a long long fly and couldn't wait to get home. The moment I step off the bus, Rockingham Taxi was already waiting for me in front of the C & J building. The cab driver politely greeted me and helped me with my two very heavy luggages (50 lb and 51 lb). His name is John P. Hopefully I got the first name right. Basically the whole experience with Rockingham Taxi was very smooth. They even take credit card (with the iphone), which is a good thing because I didnt have any cash left. When I called to ask why, they said it was because they didn't have any buses or transportation available. They assured me I wouldn't be charged. Nonetheless, I received a payment confirmation the next day. I called the company back to flag the issue and was told that both transactions were now cancelled and would disappear from my credit card within 3-5 business days. It's now been almost a month and I still haven't received any refund. Both pending charges have officially gone through, and no one is answering my emails or calls. I had to contact my bank to dispute the charges. I'm so frustrated!
