The atmosphere here is nice, but the air conditioning is ridiculously cold. We moved our seat and it helped a little. We just wanted something small, so an English muffin worked for me. Service was sketchy and with only 2 Other guests, we waited 20 minutes for an English muffin.

We had brunch at Alto Terrace Bar inside the Cambria hotel in Portland Maine last week (25 Hancock St, Portland, ME 04101) This spot has gorgeous outdoor seating and a reasonably priced brunch menu. For food we got the blueberry hotcakes the blueberry compote is optional but in my opinion is a must! They give you so many delicious fresh blueberries and they truly made the dish complete 8/10. We also got the egg white veggie omelet with peppers, onions, mushrooms, broccolini, tomato, leek, and potatoes 7/10. This tasted good I think the only comment we had was that we wished the potatoes were cooked a bit more! Finally, we got the classic eggs Benedict with poaches eggs, hollandaise sauce, and potatoes. These eggs were cooked perfectly and overall a great classic dish 7/10. I say if you are looking for a reasonable brunch and a nice view come check out this spot when visiting Portland Food: 7/10 Ambiance: 8/10 Affordability: 8/10

New restaurant and bar in the brand new hotel Cambria. This is a gorgeous hotel bar with lots of seating and a big bar. The patio looks amazing and would be great when the weather is nice. They also have spaces available to rent for events. The service was okay. The food was decent but nothing spectacular. It wasn't very busy as I don't think many people know about it. I gave it a 3 for the food as it was good but could be better. This place has so match potential to be a 4 and will come back to try again!

Staff is amazing!! Me and my husband were staying at the hotel and stopped in here for a drink. Everyone was super sweet and the atmosphere was chill and pleasant. Dimly lit at the tables and well lit at the bar. Modern feel and very clean. We didn't try the food so I can't speak to that. But otherwise would recommend for a drink or two!

On the 4th floor of 25 Hancock street Portland, Maine. The ambiance is nine and the beer and service is wonderful.

This feels like a hotel bar in a lobby... but it looks really cool. The food was pretty good and the staff was super nice!

Great tapas spot in the downtown area! Had such a lovely waiter too during our visit. Liked all the…read moresavory dishes too, each with its own distinct taste! Ranking: 1) Spicy beef salad 2) Suckling pig 3) Pinkytoe crab 4) Lobster pasta 5) Bone marrow toast The desserts were nothing special but I did like the strawberry white chocolate one. The rhubarb one was meh personally; tasted like yogurt I could eat from the grocery store.

The lemon sole (fish) and octopus carpaccio (not pictured) were filled with flavor! The pork belly was very underwhelming and I would not order again. The waiter said 2-4 plates per person. I recommend starting on the lower end and adding additional dishes based on how you're feeling. The amount of food was very different from dish to dish. For example the tuna dip had way too much bread and the pork belly was very small in size. Overall I was half impressed. I wish the staff would take a moment to announce the plate as it's placed next to you or point it out on the menu for those hard of hearing and wanting to know what they are about to enjoy. However the music, overall restaurant vibe and half the dishes exploding with flavor made my experience pleasant and I will return again knowing a bit more of what to expect and looking at photos of the menu/meal options beforehand.

I wouldn't recommend Lucky Cheetah…read more The aesthetics, atmosphere, and cocktails were all great, and I can see why the place is popular. Unfortunately, the service completely overshadowed the positives. The moment I walked in, I was asked if I had a reservation, which is perfectly normal. When I said no, the host gave me a look that felt very much like, "How dare you?" before telling me I was lucky they had one spot left at the bar. Oddly enough, the bar appeared mostly empty, but whatever. I was seated in what felt like the worst seat possible--tucked into a corner right next to the POS station, where servers were constantly moving back and forth picking up drinks. It wasn't exactly a comfortable or relaxing place to sit. The bartender was pleasant enough, but the overall vibe remained off the entire time. I felt less like a paying customer and more like someone they were reluctantly doing a favor for by allowing me to be there. I ordered the lobster and crab rangoon bags, which had a nice texture but were overwhelmingly salty. As soon as I placed my appetizer order, the menu was taken away, which made me feel rushed and unwelcome. The bartender also didn't check in much throughout the meal. It's a beautiful space with good drinks, but hospitality matters. Unfortunately, I left feeling unwelcome from start to finish, and I wouldn't return.
