Terrible. Unorganized, lack of communication between departments, illogical policies. But, ok they are very responsive and professional in speaking with you. First they apparently had issues putting me in the system, but didn't say anything to anyone. After 2-weeks I just happened to think I should set up my online account with their HR Symphony website. Couldn't create and account so I Gave them a call and was told I'm not in the system. I've been working full time for over 2-weeks...What about my pay? Ok, they know My start date so they say ok we will take care of it...then they email my employer asking for more information about my employment? Due to the delay, it took over a month to get my direct deposit set up (even though docs were done at orientation). They blamed my not being in the system on the employer and if I had not called to check (because I couldn't log into their online portal), no one would have said anything to me and I would have just been SOL. No pay, no heads up, no ownership in taking care of their client's needs. Finally...after 30-days was supposed to get health insurance. Gave them a call after 40 days cuz I couldn't find the health insurance benefits in online portal...NOW they tell me my first two weeks on the job DOESN'T COUNT BECAUSE IT WAS NOT 4 CONSECUTIVE WEEKS IN A SINGLE MONTH???? Really? HERES THE LESSON: MAKE SURE YOUR START DATE IS THE 1st of the month and check your account status with them. Ridiculous. read more

Had a great first experience with Altres. I worked with Torie and Lynn and they have been wonderful to me. My first impression walking into their building was also wonderful. Front Staff was very professional. Filled out forms and when I had any questions about anything, the receptionists were informative and professional. When I met with both Lynn and Torie, I felt very comfortable speaking with them they also were very helpful for any questions that I had. Once I was in their system they found a few positions for me that they thought I may be interested in and they ask if it's something that I would want to apply for. I passed all their tests with flying colors but even though I visited their office every day for over 2 weeks and watched as people that I could tell were much less qualified than me just by their demeanor and attitude get offered jobs on the spot, they just kept promising they would find me a job and never did. Claudette was amazing. She found my resume on Indeed and contacted me last week Tuesday inquiring if I found a job yet and if I wouldn't mind coming in the next day for an Interview at her office. I went to Altres Wednesday morning. As arrived, the front office staff were professional and promptly attentive. I met with Claudette, who was very welcoming and kind, for a quick interview. We discussed my background experience, what I was looking for, and explaining the process of her seeking the right firm for my career. She informed me of a couple companies that are looking for the ideal candidate and that she would set up an interview. The next following day, I received a call from Claudette informing that she has 2 firms that would like to meet with me for an interview. We scheduled the interviews for both firms on Monday at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Monday arrived and I attended the first interview which went very well. I loved the vibe of the office and I had a wonderful connection with the interviewers who I would possibly be working with. The interview lasted for over 45 minutes. After the first interview I still had at least an hour to the next one, fortunately both offices were located in downtown and a block away from each other. However, as I was on my way to the next interview I received a call from Claudette informing me that the company that I just had an interview with was very much interested in hiring me. I was totally surprised and taken aback of how quickly they responded. I informed Claudette I was on my way to my next interview and that I would call her soon after I was done. The second interview went well, the HR person would discuss with the partners and contact Claudette if they were interested. After that second interview, I contacted Claudette and we discussed the terms of the offer from the first interview....which were fantastic. They met all my needs and request. I informed Claudette the next morning that I am truly interested in the position and accepted the offer. Within less than a week after Claudette contacted me, she was able to get me a job quicker than I was doing on my own through Indeed and other resources. I was very hopeful when I went through the testing and interview process. I was employed but was job searching and specifically told them that even though I had a new car, I lived in the Ala Moana/Kapiolani area and wanted to be able to catch the bus or walk to work.
