I would like to update to give Altura VP and management including Hugo thanks for reaching out to correct the situation at hand. One of the worst altura branches to go to, they need to just close this branch or find new management. Hugo the manager at the building is very, very rude and speaks in a very demeaning tone to his customers avoid this branch and just go elsewhere. Today I had the pleasure of opening an account with Altura located in the Albertsons grocery store in Banning/Beaumont. The manager, Hugo, gave me great service and really went out of his way to accommodate me. What really impressed me was the personal attention to meet all of my needs and make it feel like I had a personal banker. The credit union had a small bank feel to it that just made the whole experience really comfortable. It is nice to walk in and be greeted by everyone that works at this branch. Came in today and as soon as I walked in the lady to the left(not helping people) gave me the meanest stare down. She never said hello or she'll be right with you or anything at all. I waited and was seen by the sweetest lady ever. I'm not sure of her name but she was the teller actually helping people between 12:30-1 today. I was shocked at how opposite the two ladies were. And it wasn't just me, she did the same thing to the person at the atm. Rude look with evil eyes like she was trying to intimidate her without using words. Creepy and a different experience then when I go to riverside or more o valley. Lady... stop making it obvious that you hate certain people and stop hiding behind the counter because if you were face to face I don't think you would be as brave. read more

I do not write reviews often, however, I had to share the nasty experience I had with one of their unprofessional bank tellers. I used their ATM machine there at the Banning location. An Hispanic lady there was only concerned about clocking out and going home. All I wanted was a number to report my debit card in the machine so that it would not happen to anyone else. She was extremely rude and nasty with her response and was walking slowly out the door as I was trying to ask for a number. Mind you when I first asked she was behind the class not leaving yet. When I asked her for her name she literally tucked her badge in her pocket and ran out of the door . What professional bank teller does that?? I would have just explained to my customer that I do not feel comfortable giving my name, but would have given them a number or someone who could help. She was just ghetto! I would never want that type of person representing my company. I hope Regional Manager Pam Cuthbertson sees that all the complaints at this location speaking about a woman with an attitude is this same woman. I did take the time out of my busy schedule to make a complaint to the bank's manager. I trust that the manager will do the right thing. read more

Came in to open a bank account here. I got harrased by an antivaxxer not wearing a mask. I don't care that she doesn't want to get vaccinated but leave me alone. I reported her to the guy helping us, he did not care. We went in the room and he had the audacity to leave us sitting in the room, walk to the front and help the antivaxxer before us. I didn't know that lines don't mean anything to this bank. He came back in. We were in the middle of set up, walked out again to help another customer. What the heck? We finally finish, and he sends me home. I get home I have no idea what my member number or account number is. He sent me home with no paperwork or anything and now I can't do online banking. I've banked with Altura for 22 years, back when it was riverside credit union. Today was the final straw with this bank and I'm moving all my accounts to arrowhead . I've tried 3 different times to open up a student account for my son and every time a different employee has given me different information as to the needed information to open up an account. This is poor service, when 3 different employees cannot provide the proper information needed to open up an account. read more

Wow I've never felt more at home with a bank! The branch manager has been so awesome. The tellers have been amazing too. I know we've only had a hand full of interactions so far, but, they've been top notch on the customer service every time. I went to the teller on a Saturday and she got me a meeting with the manager to handle the biz on Monday. The manager already knew my whole story and remembered every detail. I went back today to use the ATM and they remembered me and asked how everything was going. When I met with the manager she was very accommodating and helped me open a checking, savings, and apply to refinance 2 cars. She was ready to see me as soon as I arrived and it only took 45 minutes! I walked out the same day with my debit card in hand. She also helped me setup my online account. It wasn't stressful at all! Super easy and I'm almost mad at myself that we hadn't made the credit union switch sooner. Please go into this branch located inside of Albertsons. When i went in to the store branch I was greeted by a wonderful teller I told her I wanted to open a new account. She was very helpful,informative and friendly. The process was very quick my card was printed in store and there was many options to choose from. She helped me set up my mobile app, navigated through it with me. I recently had the worst experience while dealing with this location. Ive never been treated so poorly. The customer service here is horrible. The ATM machine ate my money and my bank card. Rather than patiently understanding the financial hardship and burden that the customer is dealing with she calously shifted the responsibility of the loss of funds to me and my finacial institution to solve. My issue is not with bank policies. My issue is the attitude and customer service that I received from the employee. I was so upset by her attitude that I went as far as filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. While doing that I found that I am not the first to have had issues with this bank and its service. I noticed recently that they have been trying to rebuild their image. Unfortunately they do not address the poor customer service their customers receive while trying to address real issues. I would never refer anybody to bank here. Poor customer service reflects what the bank stands for. Dont let their website fool you. Racism and and a bad attitude are acceptable at this bank. read more
