I was pleasantly surprised that they're just as good as I remember from 10+ years ago. The cheese is flavorful and has a great stretch, and the crust is just so crispy and thin! Really delicious. The lunch special is very good, too. $8 for a massive cheese slice and a drink is a deal hard to come by in this economy, and it can easily feed 2 people. I opted to add pepperoni for an extra $1.50. Still a good deal. I also would not skip on the ranch if you're a fan of the good homemade kind. I can tell it is made in-house and it's so creamy and garlicky. Service was quick and polite. I also notice that they always offer fresh brewed ice tea and some kind of specialty water - this time they had a watermelon infused water that was great. I love when I'm offered fresh-made drink options besides your usual fountain drinks. I've often seen discourse about where the best pizza in Tucson is online, and I rarely see AZ Pizza Company mentioned. I personally think they're very high on the list and deserve more recognition. So glad we have such a good pizza spot out in Vail for us Corona/Vail/Rita Ranch peopel!

We weren't quite sure when to pick it up so that we either wouldn't be waiting forever at the restaurant or if we showed up too late the pizza might be cold. We decided to wait an hour. Luckily it was ready by the hour mark and was hot and fresh when we got it home. It was busy when we picked it up so I can understand them not knowing exactly when it would be ready. We'd love to dine in next time!

The food itself is consistently great, but the accuracy of the orders has been consistently disappointing. Unfortunately, you usually don't discover the mistake until you get home. My advice: if you're picking up your order, take a minute to check everything before you leave. It'll save you an extra trip and a lot of frustration.

I interviewed several movers, and many were uninterested in handling fine art, a grand piano, in having a thoughtful conversation about the complexity of my move or lacked proper insurance that would cover a meaningful loss should one occur. I should have known the service would be amazing when I was referred to Alvarado Delivery Service by another mover!! Hector and his team of 2 were the best! I was in a major hurry to pack up my stuff because I had to drive back to Colorado the same day. Hector and his team arrived right on time, and they were very understanding of my situation. They let my sister and me work along side them, and they remained respectful and courteous throughout - even though we were cutting into their profit! And they didn't waste a minute! With Hector directing the team, they worked seamlessly to pack the truck as fast as they could while being very careful with all my belongings. Hector is an absolute pro at packing! Not only did he fit everything from my two storage units into a 20-foot truck, he distributed the weight and packed things so well that the truck held to the road in very high winds. We hit some major bumps and potholes, and nothing moved an inch! That is a really BIG deal when you're driving 13 hours straight! I couldn't recommend Alvarado Delivery Service more highly. I have moved a LOT in my lifetime and only twice have I used a moving company. Both times were a nightmarish disaster from beginning to end. When, due to COVID, I was unable to move the way I had in the past, a friend recommended Alverado. Given past experiences with moving companies I was hesitant and reluctant to call, but, since I had no other choice than to use a moving company, I called Alverado. I couldn't have been more pleased and delighted with them. They did what they said they would do when they said they would do it. Richard and Marvin are, in my experience, professional, hard working, courteous, kind and a real pleasure to meet and work with. I had a couple of boxes that were marked "fragile" and they took great care with those boxes. When some of my furniture didn't fit the way I thought it would in my mind, Marvin used his experience to make some helpful suggestions. They are both sweethearts in my mind! I can't sing high enough praises for Alvarado Delivery Service. I recently moved from Arizona to New Jersey - Hector and Matt were and are the most caring, careful, and pleasant team to work with. My furniture and possessions were delivered in perfect condition without a single scratch, dent, or in any condition other than what it was when they packed it into the truck. I had my vehicle transported as well, they put the car on a trailer which was towed behind the moving truck and it arrived in perfect condition. They took care of my items as if they were their own. They delivered the items in the pouring rain and to be honest, I don't know how they managed to get everything into my apartment without it getting wet, but they did! Alvarado Delivery Service was recommended to me by a friend who had used them. Her reference was out of the ordinary and I couldn't believe a company could be that good. Boy, was I wrong! I have never experienced such good work, kind and wonderful people, and reasonable prices. My daughter and her family used them to move, as well, and sang their praises. I've used Hector Alvarado and his crew 3 times in 6 months for placing heavy mirrors on walls and removing a heavy piece of gym equip from the home to the garage. Hector quickly knew the best way to get all of these items done quickly with no damage to anything. He also saw I had a heavy, large, unopened box in the hallway and volunteered to open it for me. It was too heavy for me to tackle and he somehow knew it! Once opened he saw it was a cat tree and he instantly assembled it with a drill, placed it in the room and made sure it was secure for my rambunctious cats. Had a wonderful--even fun time--moving my entire household through Alvarado Delivery Service. Hector, Max, and Andre were extremely hard working and especially cheerful. So fun to be around during a very stressful time for me. They even helped me take apart a stubborn desk and remove it to the garage--which was not part of their normal responsibilities. In addition, I really appreciated how Max and Andre were willing to switch heavy pieces around for me, even though the furniture was already in place. I have used movers many times, moving from state to state and local. this service was, by far, the best moving service I have used. They were very courteous, conscientious and professional. Their bid was the lowest and therefore I was a little concerned. Since the owner was so personable, etc., we decided to go with them. I am so glad. Nothing was broken and they were responsive to our needs. They even put all the beds together. The master bed is a very large piece of furniture with a base of drawers, 2 pillars, a headboard, mirror and top. They put it all together and even got the touch sensor lights working. We needed to do a local move in the Oro Valley area that included some very heavy furniture pieces. I've moved a number of times and these guys are the best movers I've ever seen! These guys helped me move my vending machine. They are amazing at their job - no hassle, no complaints; just an awesome team of awesome people that have the capabilities and know-how to move mountains. I have used the Alvarado Team many times for my moves. Hector is an Artist at being able to look at the items needing packing and packing those items in the best, most efficient way. The team, including Richard, come in and get to work right away and when they carry items out they are extremely careful of not bumping any walls or corners and carry the items as if they were their own. Recommended by furniture store (and now by us!) We live in the country so it is common for delivery services to restrict delivery to "when they're in the area". Not so with Alvarado! We were surprised when Hector agreed to our short notice delivery schedule. The furniture arrived without damage. Hector rearranged our living room to accommodate the new furniture. Alvarado Delivery is a great moving company! Hector Alvarado and his crew moved me locally and worked diligently taking care of my furniture and other possessions. They had to move some heavy items up to a 2nd floor and remained pleasant and observant of the task at hand. I will use them in the future. We had to move my senior parents up to Mesa. There were a lot of boxes trying to downsize into a small one bedroom apartment. These guys were amazing! They were kind and patient...Richard, Hector and crew went above and beyond to make this transition. Every item was handled carefully and with not a single issue. I bought some furniture from a local store and they are contracted with Alvarado. I am so glad I had 2 really heavy and awkward pieces that required a liftgate truck and 3 skilled delivery men to get these pieces upstairs. The first star I deduct is due to their low ball estimate of the time and expense of the move. It ended up taking twice as long and costing twice as much as was estimated. That is $1,000 more than estimated. I did move from a 3rd floor apartment to a 2nd floor condo with several glass tables and mirrors but they knew that when they estimated it could be done in 4-5 hours with 3 movers. It took 9 hours. The second star deduction is that they worked as if they were being paid by the day and not by the hour. They were not slow but they were not fast. I have seen movers who really moved with urgency. Fast movers move quickly on the stairs when they are not carrying boxes. These folks were not fast movers. If they were paying $210 per hour I think they would move faster. They lost another star because I paid for 3 movers and got 2 experienced movers and an 18 year old cousin who had never moved anything. He stood around in the beginning waiting to be told what to do. He also showed no initiative regarding doing what he could be doing. There were times he was checking his phone and taking significant rest breaks. I argued I should pay less because I only had 2 and a half movers but my argument was ignored. They finally lost the fourth star because when I went back to the apartment I found that they had forgotten a 2.5 x 4 foot framed print in the bathroom and also left some of their garbage from wrapping items. There are positive things to say. They were very careful. They called in advance and arrived early. They worked to reassemble tricky furniture. They were also very friendly.
