Not licensed. He is really a handyman who calls himself a plumber. He will be very agreeable at first but then once he has ripped open your wall he begins to back pedal. He agreed to do other small things but then said "I am a plumber" but when asked for a license I got a drivers license, he is not a licensed plumber. read more

When I called regarding some work I needed done, he seemed to be missing in action. Responses to my texts were spotty and a phone response delayed by 2-3 days. On Saturday 5/12/18 Dennis Alvarado really saved the day for me. I am assisting a client with replacement of a Moen Shower cartridge. The water being shut off to house I attempted to remove the old Cartridge. In doing so I broke the valve stem which is necessary to pull old cartridge from valve body. I soon realized that I was in big trouble. Valve broken water shut off family returning soon on a Weekend with no water. J.C. Theses guys are the real deal. It is hard to find honest people sometime, but Alvarado Plumbing can be trusted not to rip you off. I got an estimate of $500 from another local company to do the work at my house. Alvarado Plumbing gave me an estimate of $175-$200. To my surprise when the work was done they only asked for $150. My father is very suspicious of people trying to rip him off and will keep shopping around looking for what he thinks is a fair price. 2 days before Xmas had a clog in the main sewer line.
