I take my full breed husky named Blizzard here almost every other week! she absolutely LOVES Mynor, she always comes back looking 3x cleaner and happier! Truly a man who cares about his clients and their pups! Being that blizzard is a husky shes VERY difficult to shower and gets a bit aggressive when her main is trimmed but hes never refused service and has actually gone out of his way to make sure blizzard is comfortable. I recommend this place to any and everyone!! The owner speaks mostly spanish and some broken english but understands everything!! It was Zoe's first time being groomed. The groomer was very patient with her and did as much as he could to make her feel comfortable. She had a lot of matted sections and I was scared he would have to shave her completely but he took his time and untangled all of her knots and left her smelling great. I personally don't like the end poodle look but she looks wayyyy better than when she went in. Next time ill just request that she look more curly and less poodle looking. Great service. My mom took my fur-grand baby (lol) to Alvin, the owner. This was Cocos first time going to a groomer. My mom said that Alvin was very nice to her and our fur baby. Being that Coco is not used to strangers, she had to be left there alone with Alvin so that they could get acquainted. We could tell Alvin has a way with animals. Once we picked Coco up, her fur & nails were nicely cut, her eyes and ears and teeth were the cleanest they've ever been. We took our four dogs to be groomed yesterday July 15,2019. After we brought our dogs home we found out that three of our dogs had skin injuries. We did contact this place by phone immediately trying to find out what has happened. Alvin pretty much blame saying that was due to hair knots, he also said that if we choose to take our dogs to the veterinarian he won't be responsible for the expenses. If I can give negative stars I would. I took my dog Saturday 3/9/19 to get groomed. He cut the under arm of my dog and didn't even tell. It was till I got home an noticed . I immediately called him and told him. He stated he never noticed. Really a big deep cut !! I had to bring her to the vet because its not closing and it's infected. Great place and great service. Have been bring my pups here for a while now and I have always been pleased. Dont know if its customary for places to cut a dogs hair after they are bathed, but that would probably be my only gripe. I would want hair cut 1st then bath so there isn't all this loose hair spreading around. With that being said, unlike some places where you drop off your pup and won't get a call saying their ready for almost the entire day, this place gets them in and out in 2 or 3 hours. Got a small pup so I wish the cost was less than $55 but it's all good. read more

It was my first time taking my dog to a groomers & Alvin's was my first choice. Had an app. at 10am but I had to wait because he was grooming another dog but I really didn't mind waiting. When it was my dog's turn to get groomed he was freaking out at first and crying a lot but Alvin managed to keep him calm and stop crying, I was very impressed by that. I brought my dogs in the day before Easter with no appointment and he was able to groom all 3 on the same day. Two of my dogs were extremely matted so I knew off too they would be shaved down. My other little one has very thin fine hair and looked a little crazy. He is a rescue and I was certain he had never been to the groomer prior to this day. He did a trim on him and when I picked him up I was a little surprised because there wasn't much of a difference. I called the groomer and he asked me to bring him back the next day and cut his hair exactly how I wanted while I waited. He was very good with my dogs. I found him on yelp and being new to this area I thought I would give it a shot and I wasn't disappointed. Thank you for your services and I will definitely be coming back most people have to understand that with grooming any dog can get cut it doesn't mean it was intentional they are animals and move when they're scared or aren't used to being groomed.
