ten out of ten DO NOT RECOMMEND!! I shouldve known how terrible this experience would be with the multiple texts requiring me to send proof of vaccination and poor customer service. I texted ahead for an appointment for my 4 pound maltese and got it scheduled. before the appointment, my dog went into heat. i texted them and notified them and asked if it was still okay to bring her in. no response. 5 minutes later i get a text to confirm appointment. soooo i figured they were okay with it. i confirmed. day of our appointment, i bring her in on time. when I arrived I checked in and she kept bringing up another name. I wasnt sure where she was going with this so I kept telling her im a new client. so they had me fill out paperwork and while I was filling it out, a lady walks in with the name of the dog the reception was repeating to me earlier. -_- she scolded me for bringing her in while she was in heat. told me they will take her this time but next time no. thats fine.... i did ask beforehand... after they asked me a few questions and I showed a few pictures to the groomer, they took my dog. as I was leaving i came back to confirm pricing. I spoke to Mindy and she asked me how much my dog weighed. 4 pounds. okay so $50. *points at basic for xsmall dog = 50*. which includes this this n this. ok perfect. 50. ill go to the bank. 3 hours later I get a text at 11:58 to pick up my dog at 12. thanks for the 2 minutes heads up. when i came to get my dog, the receptionist tells me its going to be $80. I explained that I was told before services started that the price would be $50. there was a lot of back n forth. the lady who i assumed was the owner, Mindy acted like she was going to pass out while discussing this issue with me. i left money on the table and left. A little bit after, I guess the owner or someone who handles issues calls me. apologetically tells me it was a misunderstanding and the receptionist was new. blamed the newbie... I appreciated the call and was going to leave it alone. she then tells me that the groomer had put in a cotton ball on my dog to prevent bleeding. I assumed she made a makeshift bandaid. NOPE. she made a makeshift TAMPON. THEY STUCK A FREAKING COTTON BALL IN MY 4 POUND DOG'S VULVA. she didnt call me to be apologetic, she called to warn me her groomer fucked up n left a foreign object inside my dog. this place is horrible all around. never coming back and do not recommend this place to ANYONE anddddd thennnnn.... hours later they texted me to tell me to pick up cookie. Who the hell is cookie? People can lose their dogs at this place. so unprofessional. owner should handle all calls and texts so they cant blame staff for being incompetent.
I had a really disappointing experience here and feel completely misled. Before coming in, I called to ask about the price for a nail trim and made sure to mention that my dog is large. I was told it would be $10-$15. When I arrived, the place looked clean and I even checked the price list posted in the waiting area, which also clearly said $10-$15 for nail trimming. However, after the service was done, I was charged $25. When I questioned it and explained that I had called ahead and specifically mentioned that my dog is large, the response I got was that they "didn't know he was that big." My dog is a large doodle -- not some unusually massive or rare breed -- and I had already made that clear over the phone. It's extremely frustrating to confirm pricing beforehand, see the same price advertised in the shop, and then be charged significantly more afterward with no real explanation. If the price depends on size, that should be clearly communicated upfront, especially when a customer takes the time to ask beforehand. This felt misleading and unprofessional. I left feeling like the pricing was not transparent and that my concerns were dismissed when I brought them up. Because of this experience, I will not be returning.
I've come to Pawtastic for some time now and I feel like no matter how much I explain how I want her haircut they don't listen and do what they want. Yes I wanted a shorter hair cut but I wanted a teddy bear look... fuzzy. My dog when in with a lot of hair for them to be able to achieve the hair cut I asked for. Just know if you come here, the hair cut will not be what you ask for.
The groomers at OC Pawtastic were so sweet, patient, and kind to our (very loud) Samoyed when he came in for his first grooming session a week or two back. Due to his extensive needs, he was there for close to 7 hours. The groomers were really understanding when I was stuck at an appointment with my son and was delayed in picking him up, which I really appreciated. He came out looking like a million bucks. We will bring him back in a heartbeat! Thank you OC Pawtastic!
Took my puppy Cookie in for grooming today and my puppy is a little fussy and whines a lot near new people but the staff must be amazing here! Cookie has never been so clean and so good looking and I did not think she could be cuter but Pawtastic made that happen. Again, such quick and easy service; make sure to bring your dog's vaccination records!! Thank you to the amazing receptionist Hanna for being such a wonderful member of the team; I can't wait to be back in 6 months for another visit. Pawtastic deserves ALL the good reviews and more. I'm so lucky to have found this place for my puppy!
I took my dog, Dubu, here for grooming yesterday, and I couldn't be happier with the results! I've had so many frustrating experiences at other shops where the final look was the complete opposite of the reference photos I provided. It was always so discouraging. However, a friend highly recommended this place for their skill, and I'm so glad I listened! The grooming was identical to the photo I showed them--perfect in every way. Beyond their technical skill, the staff was incredibly kind. You can truly tell they genuinely love dogs, which gave me so much peace of mind leaving Dubu there for 3 hours. Even though it's a bit of a drive from my house, the quality and service make it 100% worth it. I've finally found my go-to spot and won't be going anywhere else. Highly recommend to any pet parent who wants perfection!
This is my go-to grooming service and they do everything for $70 for my 10-pound shih chon. Most other places just do bath + trim and everything else would be extra. Call and schedule your grooming!
They took great care of my elderly dog, and gave him a fresh summer cut. Their prices were reasonable, and my dog was happy to see them when I took him for another cut, so I know he was treated well.
They do a wonderful job with the cut for my Shih Tzu. They take lovely pictures when the grooming is done. The only service I wish they offered is pulling the hair from my dog's ears. This is needed for dogs with hair.
I recently adopted a dog in July and have taken him here twice so far for grooming! My dog is always so happy to come here. I appreciate their attention to detail and really great customer service. I usually get the premium package for $80, and I like blade #5 because his fur is cut short enough that he typically lasts about 2-2.5 months before needing another grooming appointment. Appointments are easy to schedule, and the person who answers the phone/works the front desk is always so sweet. Overall, I would highly recommend!!
We brought our pup Chai here, and her groomer had actually flown in all the way from Korea! We were so impressed with the grooming--we'll definitely be back to try their regular groomers too. The service was great! While the groomers only speak Korean, the kind front desk lady helps translate everything you need, so communication was no problem at all. Honestly, some of the previous reviews really don't do them justice--this place is amazing, especially if you have a long-haired pup like ours. Chai came out looking like the perfect teddy bear--such a cute and clean cut! This place is fantastic! Pawtastic provided excellent service to our pup, Ben. I called a week before to set up a Saturday appointment and was glad they could accommodate me. I believe they take walk-ins, but I just wanted to ensure they have a spot open for Ben. On the day of the appointment, my wife dropped off Ben and showed the groomer what kind of styling we wanted. We were told that since this is Ben's first time with a groomer, it's not for sure he will cooperate. Hence, he's never had a scissor cut or anything. Three hours later, we got a call, and Ben was ready. We were so happy to see him with his new style; we could tell he felt good! The groomer did such a fantastic job. This is precisely what we wanted, and I'm glad it turned out perfectly. As the groomer suggested, we should take him there sometimes for shampooing to get used to the environment, which we will! This place is great, and the pricing is reasonable. We will be coming back again for Ben's next grooming service. Thanks Pawtastic!

I've been taking my dog here for over a year now, and I genuinely wouldn't go anywhere else! I was honestly nervous about trying a new groomer after a previous experience at another nearby groomer salon that left my dog acting unusually distant and uncomfortable afterward. It really scared me, and I was hesitant to trust someone new with him. But I decided to give Pawtastic a try, and I'm so glad I did. From the very first visit, the staff have been incredibly kind, genuine and caring. You can truly tell that they love what they do and treat our four-legged friends like they're their own. My dog is always happy to go in, and I feel completely comfortable leaving him in their care. And on top of the amazing service, his grooming is always PERFECT. He comes home looking and smelling so good every single time. They consistently get his style exactly right, and I couldn't be happier with the results. So thankful I found Pawtastic. They've earned a lifelong customer in me and my pup! read more

We absolutely LOVED our dog's cut! We're always nervous leaving our dog somewhere by herself but she is always in a great mood when we pick her up! Her fur was so fluffy, soft & smelled amazing ! This is our 2nd visit to OC pawtastic, and we've had a really positive experience. They take their time with our Malitpoo Teddy and really work with his moments of reactivity. My partner and I have been taking our Maltese mix, Baxter, for a couple years. He always goes in happy to greet the groomers and he always leaves happy with a fresh look! The groomers and receptionist are so always courteous, friendly, and professional. These folks take care of our special little guy and we always feel like he's cared for. For those who are considering, you won't regret it! If you aren't sure about how to style your furry family member, staff are always happy to make suggestions. read more

5-Stars! I can't say enough good things about OC Pawtastic Grooming! They've done such an amazing job with my senior Morkie, Layla. She always comes back looking and smelling fantastic, and they truly go the extra mile with their care. During her last visit, they noticed fleas and took the time to use a flea shampoo, making sure to communicate this with me--something I really appreciated as a dog owner. It shows how attentive and caring they are with every detail. Layla seems happy and comfortable with them, which speaks volumes for their gentle and loving approach. On top of that, they always dress her up in the cutest outfits for the holidays, which adds such a personal and festive touch. This review is way long overdue, we've been taking our dogs here for 2 years, and I highly recommend this grooming place for your fur babies. Not only are they so clean but they take amazing care of our dogs before, during and after their appointment when we are on our way to pick them up. I really love that they don't cage their dogs during the waiting pick up period. Dogs are always coming home clean and happy. read more

LOST ALL TRUST AND WON'T BE TAKING MY DOG HERE EVER AGAIN. Why would I bring her to a place where I have to worry about her getting a bloody eye? I just came here for a nail trim and she came back out with a bloody eye. I noticed in the car as I was giving her a treat that there was a pool of blood collecting in the corner of her eye!! And her eye looked red as if she had bonked her eye. I'm not sure what happened in the few minutes it took to trim her nails, but clearly there was rough treatment. There was another review where someone else's dogs were hurt while coming to this business (check that review for yourself too!). WHY COME TO A PLACE WHERE YOUR DOG MAY GET HURT? Look at the photo and video proof I took IMMEDIATELY after getting in my car parked directly in front of the door to the store. read more

Shoutout to our neighbors for recommending this place! This has been our go to place for our medium sized bernedoodle, Summer, to get groomed! She always looks SO good and cute and clean afterwards, and she smells so good for days. They also provide updates! Everyone here is super nice and Summer is always so happy to be here. She has a lot of energy since she is a puppy, to me she is WAY too out of control that sometimes I get embarrassed to take her here, but everyone here has been very warm and welcoming. The place is a little far but worth the drive. I highly recommend to anyone for a groomer! read more

They did an amazing job with our girl, Layla! She can be very difficult with haircuts (very anxious around tools), but they managed to produce a very beautiful cut! I've been coming here for a year now and they're by far the best in town! I trust them with my senior dog and they assign groomers to each dog. They're very easy to work with and I'm always satisfied each time I leave. Highly recommend! read more

I took my dog here because it was nearby and had fairly good reviews. The reservation time they gave me was on a Friday afternoon. My dog and I got there at exactly 12. I filled out a paperwork and the receptionist, Mae, along with another lady asked me how I'd like his cut to be. They asked so many questions about length and cut that I was getting confused myself. When we settled for a cut, they said it would take a minimum of 3 hours. Before I left, I asked her to take photos of the process along with the mud facial pic so I know if they actually did the service I paid for. She said they do and they actually text it. So that's good to know. After 2.5 hours, I get a call from them that my dog is ready. I got there within 20 minutes and I was surprised with what I saw. This is the reason why they lost 2 stars from me. This is something they need to improve on. My dog got out of the white gate and the receptionist didn't even notice it until I got there. I looked confused and I asked her if they normally made them wait there. She said no. She did apologize and said she should have kept her eyes on him. The customer that came in said he could've gotten out when she opened the gate, but I'm not sure why neither of them, most specially the receptionist, did not notice. I loved his cut. They did the cut perfectly. I'm pretty sure I will be back but will probably wait in the lobby to make sure it doesn't happen again. I brought my dog for her first professional grooming ever and was informed of this place by a friend. I am super happy how well taken care of my dog was! She was so soft, her fur literally blinded me in the sun, and she smelled so good! Would definitely come back here again as the staff was super friendly too!
